A family member had to have surgery. There is plenty of parking and it is across from the Palladio Shopping Center. Registration was easy and all information was provided regarding the process. A number is assigned to each patient to track their status. Once it was time to get ready the staff bring you into prepare for the surgery. The family member is then brought back to meet with the patient and the doctor and surgery team to ask any questions. While the surgery is happening the patient's contact person can track the status. Once the surgery is over the doctor contacts them to let them know how the surgery went and pick up any medication at the onsite pharmacy. They are then brought in to the recovery room to receive further instructions and take the patient home. I had a referral to see Dr. Loge from my Primary. My scheduled appt. at 8:00 am. I had a hernia issue that needed attention...badly. I put it off too many times, and realized it was time to overcome the Pre-Surgery procedure and jitters. The attentiveness and professionalism of Dr. Loge and her staff are incredible!! In all honesty, she and her team are Magnificent!! Everyone is comforting, kind, courteous, knowledgeable and extremely professional. My Tomophobia ( anxiety), was off the charts and through the roof. They assured me everything would be great...and it was. My procedure was done and I was home 1:00pm. Snuggling in my bed the best I could. Yes of course, I am sore, but my nurse reassured me of everything to do. The Anesthesiologist, ( Sean) is very thorough and precise, in delivering the risks and safety measures. I truly cannot say enough of the Nurses and Dr.Loge!!!! Arrived Monday morning 11/17/2025 for Revision Rotator Cuff repair with Dr. Zemanovic. The staff here is excellent; from the person that did the check-in to the Nurses to the Medical Assistants and Anesthesiologist, everyone is very pleasant, professional, and engaging. Dr. Zemanovic is a straight up guy and explains everything very well. I wont know how successful the surgical result is for a while, but I could not be more pleased with everyone I encountered at the Kaiser Folsom Ambulatory facility. Thank you! read more

First off Yelpie friends I am going to be on hiatus and out of commission for a few weeks, so please excuse my lack of reviews for awhile. As some of you know I primarily review restaurants and food establishments. Occasionally, when warranted, I branch out to something else that I hope is helpful, as it would be for me... whether really good or really bad for a review. So, with that intro., I just had a fairly significant joint surgery here, and with several apprehensions going into it, I must say it was an excellent experience. I highly recommend this surgery center. The medical team was exceptional. Everyone was professional, caring and compassionate. Although nervous, which I was told is expected, everyone put me at ease. It is a much more pleasant environment than a typical hospital. Some parts of the procedure could be very painful, and none of it was painful at all. Everyone on the team carefully explained each step of the process, so I knew what to expect. I felt well cared for and overall it couldn't have been a better experience. From my one time here I would not hesitate to return, if needed. Hopefully this helps in your consideration. read more

Went in this morning for a tubal ligation procedure. The staff from start to finish were amazing, gentle and kind. The facility is very clean and welcoming. I was in and out in just about 3 hours. I would absolutely recommend anyone to go here for their procedure! They really show that they care about their patients and that's amazing! Our poor son was suffering from reoccurring ear infections and after working with a specialist they recommended taking out his adenoids. Since he was 2 double ear infections away from qualifying for tubes we agreed to the procedure and this is where it occurred. Check in was fast. I was frustrated they only let one parent back at the time it was mid Covid and they were still being strict about everything. My husband went back with our son since he's able to hold it together better than me. After they took our son back my husband came out. We grabbed something to eat and then we got a call our son was done. It was a fast procedure with no complications thankfully. He was 2 at the time and came out being held by a nurse eating popsicles. The drive home was rough but after an hour nap he was back to his normal self. It was reported that his adenoids were 90% preventing proper drainage. Since they've been out he's only had a couple ear infections. Great experience and great outcome with the procedure here. I don't always like the bureaucracy of Kaiser, but when it comes to surgery, they are a well oiled machine with top notch staff. From the lady who checked us in, to the nurse who wheeled me out to the car, Every single person I dealt with was expedient, professional, and pleasant. My Check in time was 6 AM, I was told surgery would be 7:45 AM, and I was wheeled into the operating room at 7:44 AM. I checked out at 10:45. Throughout the time before surgery, and as I was being wheeled into surgery , Each person asked the same questions numerous times to ensure they had the right patient and the right surgical site. The anesthesiologist administering the nerve block (who did a phenomenal job) confirmed the surgical site with me and the team at least five times. I know some have found this annoying, but the redundancy is required to ensure there are no errors in performing the wrong surgery on the wrong patient, so I found it reassuring. The lead anesthesiologist took the time to thoroughly review with me everything the anesthesiology team would be doing from beginning to end, as well as possible side effects/negative outcomes. And of course my surgeon , who I felt very comfortable with, did an excellent job (at least as far as I can tell ;-) ) I can't say enough positive things about the entire team and my experience. read more

I had my tubes removed by Dr.Effron today. She was amazing along with every nurse, anesthesia team member and check-in staff. I was not happy starting out due to a very long wait time but I came to find out there were multiple new staff members training at this facility. The transparency of that made me feel silly for being irritated about my wait time haha. I was very anxious going in but every step was clearly explained by each individual team (anesthesia, surgeon, nurses) which put my mind at ease. I only had one nurse rub me a little wrong pre-op but it very much could've been due to my anxiety that I took more offense than normal. I'm only about 3 hours post op and I feel amazing. They did a wonderful job and everyone was empathetic and kind. 10/10 would have any future surgery here just from the wonderful experience I had today. Thank you Kaiser staff. I didn't even know this place existed before being scheduled here from Roseville! It was so easy to get to, and having the Palladio just across the street was great for my husband who had to wait on site. All of the nurses were great, shout out to Jeff for getting my IV in first attempt! My surgeon was great, checked in with me both before and after. All of the nurses and anesthesiologist also checked in with me prior. Highly recommend coming here for surgery. Oh and pharmacy on site for those after care meds! read more

I recently had to come to this location to have a procedure done this is a very clean establishment very clean atmosphere the staff that assisted me was great the nurses where amazing and it's helping me after my procedure making sure I was comfortable making sure I had everything that I needed making me feel very comfortable given my situation it was really nice to know that they have such compassionate wonderful working staff here it definitely makes you feel better after going there to have a procedure done being nervous before hand it's nice to know that the staff is very compassionate about what they do and you're not just another patient to them they treat you like they will treat their family and they were amazing I can't see any more good things about them other than the fact that they are just near awesome they go above and beyond for all their patients and I think that's great especially given the times we're in now I think it's nice to see that people are still compassionate and still want to treat you with the dignity and respect and love and care that you deserve if you are having a procedure done through Kaiser and are nervous like I was have no fear you will be in great hands at this location they're amazing and they take pride in their work I highly recommend this establishment for anybody looking to have any kind of procedures done they are great they take great care of you and make you feel at ease while you're with them I know my family couldn't say enough good things about them how good they were treating me with my procedure so it's a love one is talking about having a procedure done and coming to this location rest assured they will be in great hands read more

I had knee surgery for torn ACL and meniscus. The entire surgical staff from admission to recovery treated me so well. They were kind and professional. My only comment is that I had to wait about 3 hours from admission to surgery. But I don't think that is a normal occurrence. The surgery before me probably took longer than anticipated. I should've asked for something to calm me because I was getting really anxious on the third hour. But other than that, I particularly remember Sherry and her mad IV skills. She found a patent vein where I never thought there was one. And then, there's Dr. Reed who I'm told is the best! My husband had his surgery yesterday! The lady volunteer was so helpful and friendly she deserves to work at kaiser. The check in process and the nurses and doctors and staff were so great and very happy we went here! Much better than Roseville and the parking and bedside and friendliness was amazing. I had lithotrypsy, was anxious but the procedure was not bad, and the staff was friendly, efficient in by 9 out by 1pm. The procedure left a softball sized deep bruise on my back had to change bandages, careful when twisting and can't lay comfy on that side but bearable with pain meds. Waiting for removal of the stent was the sucky part :(. Was sore about a few months out so no getting massages haha-good luck to you guys going thru this - raising a glass of that lemon water to ya. read more

I had a wonderful experience here two days ago to have an arthroscopy done on my knee. They told me to be there at 7 AM and by 8:30 AM they had me in the operating room. Wonderful staff and I was treated well. I have had no pain and I'm recuperating at home. I highly recommend this surgery center. read more

Went here for minor surgery. The place is clean, well lit, welcoming, efficient and the staff is caring. You don't feel like a number. My doctor recommended it for the pharmacy as well. No wait line and we were in and out within eight hours. I've never felt like I needed to review a medical facility but this was the best Kaiser facility I've been to. I'm not a person who gets sick often but when I need a place to get well, I feel like this surgery center has gotten it right! read more

No one should ever have to wait in six different rooms for hours with broken bones. This process is so broken. I am mostly frustrated with the whole system. Slow, and cumbersome. It's worse than the DMV. read more

My three year old daughter has surgery here yesterday, I couldn't be more happy about how everything went! Everyone from the receptionist, volunteers, nurses, and doctors went out if there way to make the whole process as smooth as possible. They were all very good with my daughter and kept her happy and calm. They explained every step to us and answered all the questions we had. I'm so thankful to them all for the compassion we were shown and the care my little girl received! It was well worth the drive and the stay the night before! read more

I had my gallbladder removed there, horrible place. The staff is cold, snobby, and has no bedside manner. The Dr came out to see me and couldn't wait to leave as soon as he saw me. The Dr.'s eyes were blood shot red and he looked exhausted. This was not very comforting going into surgery. I was in an extreme amount of pain after surgery. My pain was not in control after surgery and they couldn't wait to discharge me. I was in pain all day after being discharged and had to go to the emergency room to receive better care. Next day, a nurse called me from the surgery center to follow up with me after my surgery. When I asked when I could remove my bandages, she told me I needed to look through my take home paperwork. After searching for the answer in pain she finally told me I could remove the bandages. Why couldn't she have told me this in the first place? She argued with me over the phone. She was rude, condescending, and tried everything to point the blame at me. I finally, had to tell her I was going to end the call because our conversation wasn't going anywhere. This place doesn't even deserve a star. It feels like a butcher shop, they chop you up and then cast you aside. read more
