We tried to get an appointment with a podiatrist, but first available appointments were going to be more than a week. We hoped that Minit Urgent Care would be able to help him and so we made an appointment. Our nurse practitioner, Tina Beckham, came in and evaluated his toe, asked some questions, and explained the procedure that would resolve his issue with this ingrown toenail, though it will require some time to heal. She was very confident and knowledgeable. She gave him 2 shots to numb his toe and then did the procedure. Post procedure, he is much improved. We had a very pleasant experience with everyone at Minit U.C., from the receptionist to our nurse practitioner. We will not hesitate to return here on future vacations if the need arises. Oh - with our np's level of knowledge and evident experience treating ingrown toenails, I asked her how often she has to do this particular procedure. She stated that she has done it too many times to count and estimated that she does this very procedure, on average, once every two weeks!! Well, this review was a little longer than I expected - but, based on our experience, we highly recommend Minit Urgent Care.

Wait time was long, and the overall time at the facility was over an hour. I was told to go to this clinic for my note by those who required it and staff was more than hesitant to provide the note despite me displaying zero symptoms and feeling well overall. I would not recommend this provider. This was by far the worst urgent care experience I have had.

i am a maui resident and i had a bad experience at next health inside the four seasons in wailea…read more i called next health to inquire and was given a price for 300 MG of NAD. i was told i'd be experiencing a self-care day with complimentary sauna and cryotherapy. i made the appointment after a phone consultation. i arrived and discovered the facility was being renovated. i was led to a 6th floor hotel room with a solo nurse working in the room. she had no idea i had an appointment or what i wanted, so she started trying to sell random stuff from the menu (like a hangover cure drip -- i don't need that because i don't drink). it was very awkward and uncomfortable. i almost turned around and walked out, but i wanted to try NAD. the carpeted, converted hotel room was weird and unpleasant. it was utterly freezing cold in the room and getting an infusion in a carpeted hotel room did not feel sterile to me personally. i ended up receiving 1/3rd of the NAD i wanted, as, surprise, just the drip bag of water is $200. i should not have come here, and when i got a sketchy feeling i should have left. i feel no benefit from the IV, and the experience was awful, especially for being at the four seasons. do not recommend.

They took me right in, performed x-rays to see if there were any broken bones. Nothing broken, just deep tissue damage. Wrapped my leg, put on a splint, provided crutches should I need them and a great reusable ice bag. A nurse even wheeled me down to my car as I had failed to park up in the emergency parking up close to the entrance. The UpCountry area is so fortunate to have such a wonderful facility. Next time on island I hope to only be able to visit the thrift shop and bypass the emergency room.

On Tuesday I took my mom (87 yr old, and very frail) to this office for a physician referral to get Rehab services for her at Hale Makua, this form needs to be FAXED over to HM by Drs office. Thursday morning, I call Hale Makua to check on status of the Drs FAX and guess what??? NO FAX HAS BEEN SENT! The lady at Hale Makua shifted through quite a few papers, so that just put my mom farther down the list!! What takes so long to fax 1 piece of paper??? I'm sure it got lost with the her referral for GI which was supposed to be done in May! The Dr told us that she had a patient waiting since Dec for Hale Makua, I'm wondering if she even sent it back in December for that patient?!!!

The nurse practitioner said he wouldn't know what lead test to order, "there are like 30 different lead tests" he said. He said they use OpenAI and he would ask it for the best test. I asked about chelation therapy (used for lead excretion), it seems like he didn't know what it is. I asked if there anything I can take now, before test results are done, I've read some vitamins and minerals can help, he said he didn't know but would ask Open AI, which he did and gave me some suggestions. He ordered the lab test but I have no confidence he ordered the correct one after his confessions. I asked if they have doctors on staff, he said that they do, but they are not always in. I came in to see a DOCTOR not a nurse practitioner!
