Maybe this is standard in the industry, but I feel it is impertinent that others know you will not be listened to and you will not receive what you ask for. You will get exactly what the stylist feels like doing and that's just too bad for you.

My hair is long and thick and she did a great job cutting it down and thinning it out. She did everything herself from washing my hair, blow drying it, straightening it, cutting it, then layering it and then focusing on the details to make sure it was all even. I recognize that it is extremely labor intensive work to be on her feet all day so I'm so grateful that she stayed open late to give me a haircut at 5pm on a Saturday.
