A bus is offered to pick up our children and take them to Enshin, which in itself is relief enough, but the care they get once they're there makes us extremely happy to have Enshin in our lives. Even my kindergartener picked up the routine extremely quickly. The kids get a snack after school, can do homework or play games to decompress. Before it is time for parents to pick up, classes are held. I was happy to find out that children who attend the after-school program have the ability to progress through their belts just as someone who attended an evening class would. The first few weeks were difficult for my daughter, who was just getting used to not taking naps and now additional physical activity was thrown into the mix, but she survived and now acclimated to the change in schedule. My children have also attended one of their camps for days where the school is closed and they couldn't have been happier. They were excited to go, happy to be there when I was dropping them up, and wanted to stay more once I got there. Is there more a parent could ask for? I don't think so. The price is only slightly higher than Fairfax County SACC for two children but when you factor in that this is both childcare and a sports activity, it far surpasses SACC in value. You can sign-up for a yearly or month-to-month contract. The yearly contract gives you the best rates for days where schools are closed. It is also great to know that they pick up the children at the required time for early releases, scheduled or unscheduled caused by weather. I know my children are happy and safe with Enshin, and I'm happy with Enshin.

Mr. Jason runs a great program. He has realistic expectations of the kids, its not one size fits all. He encourages each child to do the best they can do. For some (like my youngest) it may be to just pay attention in class or (for my oldest) to really perfect the skill they are working on. He keeps order in class but keeps it light, fun, and humorous. They are flexible and easy to work with. The black belt students they have assisting in class are great. They were flexible with me starting so i could join my kid in class. They have teacher work day camps, its just fantastic all around.

It was so important to me that I even chose my house to be close to this gym. When I got here it did not disappoint. Almost immediately I met kru Jom who has since taken my Muay Thai to the best level. To be completely honest, I move with a lot of Ego. I thought I had to be fast , strong, and impressive in order to be "good at martial arts" and kru Jom called me out immediately. "Sahira, I need you move more. Too tense" and "Sahira, I need you play more". In the 5 month I've been working with Kru Jom I've become more playful and relaxed in my motion, which is also translating into my regular life. Anger issues have noticeable decreased and I find myself applying Kru Jom's life philosophy into my healing practice as well (I'm a chiropractor). Kru Jom is my guy, and the entire gym holds excellent standards and requires high levels of discipline from me, which is the environment I thrive best in. "Train. Win.
