I placed an order for the 5 lb crawfish special and asked for no onions in the order. I explained to the cashier that my mother, who was with me, is extremely allergic to them and was told we would not have to worry because the order would be made as requested. Once we got home to them, my mother immediately noticed onions in the mix. I called the restaurant immediately and let them know about the situation. I was told that the only way for me to get a refund is to bring the order back and there would be no replacement. I was informed that all the crawfish are boiled with onions, which the cashier told us differently, and that there would be no way to make an order without onions being introduced. There are three or four locations yes city. The one closest to me is OK [Lucas St.] but the one that's a little farther away is really good {11th st.}. They serve a variety of seafood plus hamburgers . Food season just right always piping hot and no matter what you order on the menu they will say It will be ready in 10 minutes-and 10 minutes Your food is ready. The older couple at this location are you very nice they make you want to come back. First time in Texas and saw this place on Yelp. Most reviews mentioned the grilled fish and shrimp platter so my wife and I ordered it and an order of wings because you don't "not get the wings" on your first trip to Texas. We got the fish platters with rice, and this is by far the best option. I expected dirty rice because of the cajun name, but was surprised to find it was Asian flavored or fried rice with soy sauce. The flavor combo of the fried rice with the already fantastic grilled fish was extremely delicious! And the grilled shrimp was cooked and seasoned to perfection. Highly recommend to anyone visiting the Beaumont area. The wings were also a surprise as they were sweet heat with a dry sauce (as in not dripping). Well I am visiting Beaumont and I was looking for some good seafood. So I Google seafood spots around my hotel and this place came up. I am ordered a 20 peice boiled shrimp with potatoes and sausage with fried rice. I got back to my room and I sat down to eat. I had eaten 8 shrimps and I wanted one on the bottom where all the juice located and I came across a unwelcome German Cockroach. So I tried calling the restaurant back last night and got no answer. So I called at 10:30 this morning to speak to a manager. She said there were no manager and to call back around 2. So I did. They answered and I told them the circumstance and they ask did I keep the food I said no but I took a picture. I am not keeping thar in my room. They said text me the picture, so I said sure. I called back 5 minutes later to make sure he received it. He stated I ate all the shrimp and I told him no they are on the other side and I only ate 8 if them. They said we are not giving your money back and was very rude. I never raised my voice or yelled. I just wanted my money back They said it's policy to bring back food to get money back. Run by a very friendly Asian gentleman and family who were overly friendly and checked on us several times to make sure we were happy. I ordered it with fried rice which was very good. My wife had the fried catfish which was fresh and tasty. We also had boudin balls (for the first time) which were good and egg rolls which she loved. The restaurant is a combination of drive through and simple tables for eating in. The food in served on Styrofoam plates. You simply go up to a counter to order. In our case, we relied on recommendations from the very kind woman who took our order and the owner, a man named BK. They were both friendly and helpful. All were ok, just not much flavor to them and the rice was laden with soy sauce, therefore extremely salty with tiny cocktail shrimp in it.
