Horrible I order 3lb of crawfish and half of my crawfish tails was already took off and also it didn't look like 3lbs at all new owner suck

Just went to this place to get a mother day plate my Choice was 2 lbs of crawfish, the crawfish was horrible, it wasn't 2lbs at all, they have aluminum foil over the scale: The boiled eggs looks like they were boiled 2 days ago. This place is run by new owners. Looked at my sister plate and she order 4lbs of crawfish which it looks like 3lbs. And she order one fish. This fish was so thin and looked old. This place is not the same people. Beware a waste of money..... also they aren't friendly at all. Had to put one star. In order to post this. Thy deserve no stars. read more

Smells terrible inside, it's hot inside, the fish was terrible. Fried fish, out of a frozen bag already breaded. white tips at the top with no breading because it had fallen off from freezer burn. Tastes horrible. Maybe the crawfish is what keeps people coming back, it definitely can't be the fish. I won't return. read more

Very unprofessional. False advertisement and they won't honor what's on their menu. I ordered vegetable stir fry and the menu said it came with steamed or fried rice. The guy said it didn't and that I would have to pay and extra $1.79 for the rice. He said he is looking at it on the menu and he understands but they won't honor what is advertised. When asked for management the guy said the manager was busy, then said he's in the restroom. So unprofessional. read more

I traveled over 65 miles to taste their seafood. First, they have tables and chairs, no waiters, no silverware, no drinks except what you can buy from their cooler. Food was served in styrofoam containers and had a tiny plastic fork, that was very hard to eat noodles with. On a positive note, the food was hot. Everything was bland, no seasonings on the tables and none on the food. Ordered fried pork chops that were rancid, Comb. Lo Mein was just blah, Sweet & Spicey chicken wings were okay. I ordered through Waitr. They did not have hush puppies even though it was listed on the menu. I ordered crawfish tails. They were dry, tough and no flavor...just overkill with red pepper. Will not eat here again. read more

In April 2020, I ordered the usual: 2 pounds of crawfish, 1 sausage and 3 potatoes. When I checked my order in the car, I noticed I only had 1 potatoe. I went back inside the restaurant to purchase two potatoes. The female employee said, "That will be 66 cents. I handed my credit card to her. She said, "You are using a card. So, that will be $5.00 instead of .66 cents." I asked, "Why I have to meet the $5.00 minimum for using the card again although my order is incorrect because one of you made a mistake?" She and the other two male employees behind the counter became unruly and said they didn't make a mistake. Judging by the reviews on line, several customers have reported that Coastal Seafood does not own up to any mistakes because its employees seem to believe they are "perfect" and it is the customers, which is primarily the black community, that is always at fault, but not the flagrant disrespect Coastal's employees displays to the public on a regular basis. None of the employees seem to practice the deescalation of tension, as oppose to their escalations in frivolous matters by popping off at the mouth, rolling their eyes, and being disrespectful to the black community, although it is a known fact they need the black community to keep the doors to their business open. There is no Coastal Seafood without the black community because I have not seen too many other races that have frequent their business as much as we have, yet its employees can't seem to respect the black community in the same manner it will respect the white community with no questions asked. Don't run in there and give them your money, while its employees feel it is ok for them to subject any one of us to their tasteless behaviors. Just as I stated before, they will NEVER make the mistake of being unruly and out of control with anyone that is white. read more

In for lunch today having salt n pepper shrimp, oysters, rice and Coke drink. Have been here several tumes prior and always great chow. Lots variety to choose from and great service. Divey place with really good eats. Today's shrimp are beautiful. Oysters..largest I've ever seen. Amazing read more
