Exceptional quality! Not the cheap stuff you find at Sam Levitz. Their attention to detail is amazing. Highly recommend!

We had two recliners, both Ethan Allen. The first, probably about 20 years old, needed fixed and…read morethe second needed to be reupholstered. The time and effort that Sarah put into this project was inspiring. She was so persistent with manufacturers in pursuit of the mechanics of the reclining mechanism, now out of production. She kept us informed all along the process, and was able to locate one part still in existence. We also had her touch up and fix some of the leather that had been scratched. She brought it back to its lovely brown leather. And it reclines! The second recliner, 50 years old, had been beaten up by age, although it worked well. We thought of repairing the piece as is, but chose to reupholster it entirely, as close to the original color and material. Also, we asked that she touch up the pine arms and wings, and add back the necessary details that had been lost. What a magnificent job Sarah and her team did! The photos don't fully describe the experience of having it back to looking like a new recliner. Worth the relatively modest price, since they don't make recliners like this anymore. Highly recommend these folks, especially Sarah J. Although I don't have "before" photos, both of these are "after" the restoration.

Our oak dining set needed refinishing and repair (wobbly legs) after 41 years. I spoke to Sarah who…read moreexplained the process--it would take 4-8 weeks--the finish needed four weeks to dry completely. Our furniture was picked on February 24 with the team who picked it up telling me that they were behind a couple of weeks. On April 29 I received a call from Marco, the Delivery and Services manager, saying that they had just started work on the furniture, but there was problem with the chairs. In addition Sarah wanted to change the color that she thought would look better. Here I was expecting him to say that they were finished! I said no to the color change, and I expressed my dismay, especially since there were family members expected the next month. I received an email May 14 stating that they were trying to finish the work by the end of the month. Later they delivered a loaner table and chairs to us--at the beginning of June. The delivery team was apologetic and said that Sarah had a baby (during the first 8 weeks), and was now dealing with handling the baby while working. I emailed Sarah and then Marco to find out when we could expect our table and chairs to be completed. I sent another email to Sarah (June 12) asking when our dining set would be completed and to reiterate NO color change (it had come up again). I heard from Marco that they were trying to complete it as quickly as possible with no color change. He would ask Sarah again about estimated time for completion. On July 24 I again emailed Sarah about the furniture after calling the week prior. I reminded her that it had been five months since our furniture had been picked up from our home, and they did not work on it for the first two of those five months. I did not want to take this to the next level. NO RESPONSE! I contacted the Better Business Bureau of Tucson on July 29 to inform them of the problem I was having with Brett Interiors Furniture Doctor. BBB emailed them the next morning. Later that morning I received an email from Marco stating that Sarah had informed him that the table and chairs had passed their final inspection and were ready to be delivered back to us. We received our furniture on August 7, more than five months from when it was picked up. The work was good, but I would not recommend this company to anyone. I could have bought a new dining room set for the amount of money we paid them. And no apology from Sarah--the delivery guys should not be made to apologize for her failure to communicate.
