We purchased the 'Everything but the Dress' package and it was truly a stress-free process. Andrea and John have been truly wonderful to work with, very responsive to messages, and very accomodating to our requests. About 3 months before the Wedding Day, we had an Engagement Photo Session, and the photos were so beautiful we used one for our wedding invitations! On the Big Day, the venue was so beautiful, the cake was delightful, the hors d'oeuvres were plenty and delicious! Andrea has perfectly captured our wedding colors through the cake, boutonnieres, and the bridal party bouquets which were just stunning to look at! John was excellent, and he also put some humor into the ceremony! He worked with me in outlining the ceremony, as well as my music choices (I have given him too many music selections!). The ceremony was amazing and everything went smoothly! Andrea has kept me up-to-date with all developments with the wedding planning. She made sure everything was perfect! She took beautiful photos throughout the day, before the ceremony in the bridal suite, during the ceremony (capturing all the most precious moments), and after the ceremony for portraits with the family. She made sure all the guests were happy and taken care of. As a bride on her wedding day, it could be easy to forget some moments as the day goes by really fast, and it could get overwhelming, but the photos have made me remember how magical the day was, and the experience made me really say to myself: 'I do not want this day to end'. John and Andrea were incredibly nice and accommodating to what we wanted our wedding to be. The wedding package that we chose took care of the entire ceremony for us... we just had to show-up in our attire and enjoy ourselves. We gave Andrea our colors, met with the baker, Katherine Lima, to chose our cake and chose to include the Ilaria Duet as our musical option, but beyond that, we didn't have to do much. John was phenomenal and made the entire ceremony flow very smoothly. Andrea, along with her assistant, captured the entire day for us in photographs; we have so many amazing pictures to choose from for our wedding album. To our surprise, there were 2 videographers present as well to capture the ceremony in video. We are very happy to give Coach House Weddings such an awesome review and hope to see many more happy memories being made with Andrea and John.

Went for steak dinner there on March 20, was really looking forward to it. I guess it was an off…read morenight though. Here's why: - Hubby and I got tough steaks and neither one of us wanted to complain. Our own fault, as any problems are usually fixed quickly by friendly and willing staff. - Ran out of horseradish! Apparently horseradish was put out by mistake at a steak dinner in the past, and it caught on like a house on fire. Horseradish on steak, who would have thought it could be so delicious. But we got there too late and there was none. - There is no tap water available to drink, you have to buy their bottled water. - The man who was bringing out the steaks and calling out the numbers of the people to match up with the right steak is still YELLING THE NUMBERS AT THE TOP OF HIS VOICE. I almost fell off my chair every time he did this. I mean really... half a star off for ruining my eardrums. You can raise your voice to be heard without yelling. - Here's where the other half star came off: Dishes were piling up on the shared tables and staff was clearing the dishes during the evening. Actually, they were not doing much dish-clearing - they were chatting with diners or each other and simply walking away time after time while dishes accumulated. So we were surrounded by precarious piles of dirty dishes unless we picked them up ourselves and then there was no place to put them. On the plus side, tonight there was a pleasant surprise - Caesar salad (I think, though it had onions in it, which would not normally be in a Caesar salad) It was delicious. We will still go back, we do enjoy these steak dinners, even with the recent price increase to $15.

Honestly, there are not many B&B provides such quality and heart-felt breakfast with this reasonable price. There are 3 guest rooms in this 1862-built house. All are well maintained and cleaned. The linen for the bedding is soft and good quality. The bed is comfortable. Most importantly, it has free wifi. For those who are allergic to cats, please note there are several very friendly and layback cats in the house. However, I guess they are all well trained because I did not see them wandering on the guest room floor once. We will come visit Grove Cottage B&B again this Summer :)

We drove down to Sandbanks for the day which took us all of 10 minutes. Then we did some wineries which were no more than 10-15 minutes away. The main strip of Picton is about a 3 min drive away with plenty of dinner spots available. Wellington is only 15 min away where there are more restaurants farmers markets etc. If you're a couple, I highly recommend asking for the room at the front (Queen bed, ensuite, large window at the foot of the bed). Very romantic and if the weather plays ball, waking up with that window open, birds chirping and the morning light pouring in is incredible. We will be back!!!

He took us to catch bait fish then we on out to two spots fish were not bait that good then he took out more then we started catching Sharks. which was so much fun. I can't wait to go back fishing with them again. Also Jason the fish hand was very nice and and he baited are hooks, took the fish off the hooks and he cleaned them when we got back to the dock. The Boat was awesome it hand lots for room for 6 of us. I loved the was a bathroom and if you got to hot you could go in cabin and cool off. Over all it was a great!!!

It looks like something out of a movie all decked out and decorated for Fall. The innkeepers, Suzette and Rogers were welcoming, warm and very friendly. I can't remember the name of the room I stayed in but I loved it. The mattress was firm just the way I liked it and the bathroom (which I shared with another guest) was spotless. The fluffy robe and the cold water bottles and hot coffee were greatly appreciated and the breakfast was delicious and plentiful. It was more like a brunch than breakfast. I ate my breakfast while chatting with two guests from Germany. The entire experience and stay was most enjoyable and memorable. If I'm ever in that area again and in need of a place to stay I will definitely return.
