We usually end up with a solid package with him. He knows some little side streets that save money and get additional insurance. He's been great, albeit frenetic, for us in the past. But something must be happening in his life or he simply took on too many clients. However, this 2025-26 year he did take on an assistant who answers phones and texts. Very lovely and helpful, but there were several occasions where she would tell us that "She would have to ask Roth" or did not have the access as she is not a broker. She seemed frustrated by the inconsistent communication as well. We would try text, email, and phone with varying levels of success and would not have consistency between all of those. One item would be answered on a text and another would be on an email. Which only served to make more confusion as everyone was trying to piece together the answer. The ball was dropped several times along the way. We purchased insurance through marketplace with him only to find out that many of the places we were told would take it, simply opted out of it because it was such a pain. Somehow out insurance was dropped for a month and we were set up with a bad PPO transition insurance to get us to the next month. I took the reigns and filled out Marketplace myself with little guidance and tried to choose the plan we had before except it was dramatically different than before. I texted, emailed, and called for him to look at the quote from Marketplace and do his magic, but no response. Unfortunately, I am going with some else who answers the phone, calls the providers to confirm the coverage and we just get it done. Honestly, the process was dragging on way too long and many chances were given. We would start to get somewhere and just get ghosted. Time is money.

I've never been late on a payment, as i opted for automatic payments to receive the discount. Several times now I've been shocked by the amount debited to my account. When i call this office for an explanation there is always something such as "a multiple car discount was removed from your account" (which i haven't had multiple cars on my account for over two years, and this excuse has been used twice already when payments jumped drastically) or there's been an adjustment to your premium due to this reason or another. I've never been given a heads up there will be higher payments. I've been told several times that an initial higher payment was taken out, but the next few will be lower, only to be surprised again the following month. The only reason i haven't changed insurance companies yet is because i have enjoyed the coverage and i hate changing companies, as i prefer a long-standing business relationship. Unfortunately, Mr. Reeves seems to not care about this at all and offers no help and no understanding how some people live on a budget despite multiple attempts and pleas to have him provide a more stable payment routine. I am extremely disappointed with this business and it is not at all what i knew of state farm businesses in previous states I've lived in.
