In 2018, I had a medical emergency and the affiliate of NLG in Arlington was supposed to help me get funds out for the hospital bills I was incurring at the time. They promised it would take five days (5) and after countless calls, it took them a MONTH to get that money out. Additionally, I was not able to access my online account due to an error on their part- they had the wrong birth date. The Arlington office blamed corporate, corporate balmed the Arlington office, and time passed. A week ago, a bit wiser about taking money out, I tried to access my online account and again IT IS NOT WORKING still. So, I called corporate and waited half an hour on the phone to talk to a customer service representative that told me the fastes way to ask for a withdrawl was to fax it. I did a week ago, and still, no money. Today I called corporate and, a woman with a horrible attitude that most likely did not realize I am a customer, answered and said that I had not received it because "needed to mark it as an emergency"., blah blah blah... (I did in fact mark it as an emergency) At this point, she says it will take about 1 or 2 days more -- with her horrible attitude. I want to make sure that NLG realized it is not good to mistreat a customer the way they have me. I am not able to take my money out right now but, I will as soon as I can. Shame on you!

    if I could put zero stars I would…read more This insurance company is horrible. The adjusters that they assign are not trying to help you at all. Bristol west does claims for multiple complies like freeway insurance & 21st century. If they are the ones helping you I would find another company and cancel Bristol west. I am out of the country and can't text more that 1-5 words or the text will not send. I have asked the claims rep Emmanuel Vargas for his email over 7 times now and instead he keeps telling me to text him and I cannot. Each text I am force pushing through is costing me $1. I had to email a friend in the states to text him that I could not provide the information needed because since I am out of the country I don't have access to the website. I don't want to have to give my friend sensitive information to text through to Emmanuel for me. If he just gave me an email I could accomplish everything that needed to be done. Instead he continues to ignore the request and tells me that he is going to close my claim because he doesn't have all the information. Just give me a damn email and I can get it down. WTF. Already $30 in the hole sending one word text at a time. Date of experience: June 25, 2025
