I personally also love watching the videos of a Vietnamese woman cooking meals on open fires outside on her farm that they frequently show. I live on Cape Cod and was so happy to find Kali Nails in South YarmouthThey have been in business for 24 years , same owners, same location. I had the absolute best mani pedi on Wednesday. Jen, the owner spent 90 minutes on my service. Fantastic pedicure, not rushed in any way and a perfect gel mani. She even fixed two of my nails that had broken and you would never think they were. The place is very clean and quiet...the phone is on the lowest volume and she has her nephew answer it so there is no interruption when she is working on you. These professionals are friendly and attentive. I really relax with the pedicure. I also have gel nail treatment, Bin is meticulous. I also ripped a thumb nail to the quick being clumsy in my kitchen. Bin repaired it perfectly. I have also had Sarah, who was very good as well. Kali Nails is super small and convenient if you wanna be out of there within 2 hours. A mani-pedi costs $42 for you to BLEED and they take their sweet time with it. The worker shaved my baby toe down to a piece of paper which hurt so bad I almost cried! Also, they take cash or check only and there isn't a sign nor does the website say anything about it. My friend and I were on vacation this week and looking to get pedicures together. We called ahead on a Monday, which wasn't necessary because it was slow when we got there. They took us right away at the same time. Very friendly and accommodating. The massage chairs are great! They took care to wear gloves and everything was clean. With some time to kill while hubby was at nearby eye doctor, I stopped in for a pedicure and was served right away. Emmy, a charming young saloniste, very courteous and with a nice touch for this work can be highly recommended. Since I did not want any polish she gave extra time for foot massage. This nail salon was fabulous! We called around 11 and were looking for 4 people to get our nails done simultaneously at 1pm and the staff at Kali was able to accommodate us with no problem! The staff was professional and engaged each of us in conversation when appropriate but didn't mind that we were all chatting.
