Dan the owner spent a lot of time at our in home visit to review the scope , made great suggestions on 2 new pots and pan drawers and assured us we would not know they were refaced but would look like new cabinets . We chose a beautiful Maple wood with new drawers on amazing soft close silent hardware . The work crew was professional , skilled craftsmen that figured out every little corner and angle to perfection . I am amazed at the quality of work . The transformation is stunning . Then Dan came to our house and spent a significant amount of time with us explaining our options, showing us samples of cabinets, and answering all of our questions. We opted for several additional options on top of our initial estimate, but we never felt pressured to add or upgrade anything. We initially had hoped to do refacing to improve the overall aesthetic of our kitchen, but we were so excited to discover some of the additional options that were offered that solved functional problems that had always bothered us! When we reached out to Better Than New, we didn't even realize how much they could do besides just refacing. We replaced all of our old, hard-to-open drawers with beautiful, easy to open, soft-close drawers. We added a pull-out drawer for trash and recycling bins. We replaced sagging shelves in our cabinets. And we replaced the shelves in our deep pantry with drawers, making the space SO much more usable and accessible for our tall family. So not only is the kitchen beautiful, but it's so much more functional. There were zero hidden fees. The work was absolutely immaculate. The team was incredibly professional. And the work was done as scheduled and on time - the entire project only took 2.5 days!! I didn't receive estimates from other companies, so I don't know how the price would have compared. But we feel that the finished product, the quality of the materials used, and the professionalism and skill of the team were worth what we paid. (Elite) to refinish our 1990's solid wood kitchen cabinets. We wanted to transition from a dated medium tone reddish-brown natural wood finish to have them painted a fresh, modern neutral color. We selected an elegant shade of beige with hints of yellow and green depending on how the sun is shining. We waited the full 30 days after painting to replace items on the painted shelves that were part of our kitchen. I have waited until now to write my review to be sure that the painted cabinet surfaces held up to everyday wear and tear. All I can say is that Elite did a fantastic job! Ernesto came and gave us the initial quote in December 2025 and he was also on our job every single day. Our painting work was performed by Ernesto himself and one other contractor (Tony). They worked quite independently, diligently and were patient and easy to communicate with throughout the project as I was onsite (and watching intently) the entire time. Ernesto's and Tony's work was top-notch. Also, the office staff person, Sasha, did a great job, start to finish: first, in getting us scheduled in a very timely manner; all the way to the end, with final payment processing. We truly could not be happier. Our kitchen is large and our existing custom cabinetry was solid wood that was in really good shape and would have been such a waste to just get rid of. However, I also did not want our kitchen to look hodge-podge or cheap, as our home is quite grand. Anyway, the end result is the kitchen of my dreams! The newly painted finish looks seamless, brand new, and has held up beautifully to everyday use. It gives our kitchen a refreshed and totally elegant look. My experience with this company was very disappointing. The woman who designed my closet and came…read moreout to give the estimate was very nice and had great communication throughout the design process, which made the later issues even more confusing and frustrating. The scheduling made little sense. The demolition was done on a Friday, but installation did not take place until Monday, leaving my entire wardrobe piled on my guest bed for the entire weekend. On top of that, the person who removed the old closet left a large mess in my bedroom. On installation day, the installers themselves were very nice and did solid work. However, there were major issues with the final product. Both center doors were not installed because the holes were supposedly drilled on the wrong side, and the doors were also the wrong measurements. Additionally, one of the hanging racks was completely forgotten. The installers didn't leave until around 7 p.m. on a Monday night. Before leaving, they told us that the company would be calling to schedule another installation date for the missing doors, which they said could take about a week or more. At this point, the lack of coordination and quality control has been extremely frustrating.

They told me if I payed for them. On May 6 i finally got an email from the CEO/ Nick. Asking me if everything had been taken care of I told him no. And I explained the situation all over again. And he send me a letter on all my concerns.But did not come up with any solutions. And more or less said it was my fault. So I purchased sheetrock to use as a countertop that afternoon. 4 hour later Nick email me that his team would come up to put temporary countertop in. Emailed back I have already taken care of it!!!!
