We have been camping at this campground for 3 out of the past 4 years. Positives: Nice large sites (you get spoiled for other campgrounds!), water/sewer/electric hookups, remodeled bathrooms this year, nice heated pool, small store that carries most necessities, campground is located near many local attractions, campground also has planned activities which are nice for the kids, and they have a large playground that looks relatively new. There is also things to do at the campground like mini golf and an arcade. I also like their reservation system as they only require a card to hold the spot. The cancellation policy is reasonable as well.
The few areas that were a problem for us - the Wi-Fi is spotty. We couldn't always connect and if we did get connected sometimes we were kicked off. Okay, real campers shouldn't need Wi-Fi, but cell service is virtually nonexistent there and keeping in communication with family was hard to do without text either. The electric kept tripping causing us to have to reset the breaker numerous times throughout the day. With the Wi-Fi and the electric, I do want to make clear that we camped over 4th of July weekend and there could have been an overload on the system as the campground was almost full. And last, my own pet peeve, they have a gated system that I found annoying and inconvenient. You can get a card to swipe at the gate for a $20 deposit.
Despite these small issues, my family and friends have enjoyed camping here and plan to go back next year. read more
