I'll try them once more later because I really like that this is close to home.

Meetups was at two locations I think one was kapolei but I opted for Waikele. She meets you in that lot where k mart used to be. Taste of the treat was way too sweet for me. I couldn't finish it! We purchased the mini LED photo booth premium package for $949 with unlimited prints at $100 for a total of 4 hours. Eric was awesome to work with- quick replies and super accommodating. Or the Polaroid i-zone? Which was a cool concept, but expensive for really low quality? Magnetic Moments sort of solves all of that! It's an instant photo to magnet service available for events. You get your picture taken with a fancy SLR camera, then have your magnets printed while you enjoy your event. You can always circle back and pick up your magents at the end of the event! I think two things impressed me the most. First, the magnets. The Time Magazine magnet I had at home was about the thickness of two business cards, including the printed paper part. Magnetic Moments was at least double in thickness. (I would love to post a pic comparing thickness but I'm sort of fail at getting my camera to take micro pics. . . hence why my close up food pics turn out blurry. . .) The staff from Magnetic Moments were also very professional and were able to discreetly take pictures of our guests during the beginning of our reception. Within an hour or two they had already turned the pictures into magnets for our guests to take home. They took a tons of pictures and provided a copy on a CD for me and my hubby to keep. Their prices are also great. Photobooths are charging from $1,200 and up. You'll pay less than half of that and you'll have something unique for your guests. We bought the package that provides at least 200 pictures and it was about $550. We also liked it better than the photobooth because our guests didn't have to stand in any lines; the photographers came to them. Although it's fun to take a picture in a booth, I think our guests enjoyed receiving the magnets, especially since they didn't know they were getting them. We loved Magnetic Moments. It's an original idea, cost friendly, and the staff are super easy to work with.

Teresa, the owner, is very helpful. She took the time to customize the layout for my photos to match the theme colors of my party. We went through a couple layouts, and due to my indecisiveness, I did ask her if it was possible to see more layouts, and if she could adjust colors, and with no problem, she got it done in no time. Teresa is very reliable, and will try to meet your needs to the best of her ability. Compared to other photobooth companies, this company price-wise, was FANTASTIC! Very affordable. Unlimited photos for a set price compared to paying a price depending upon how many photos you want printed. Props were great! We were expecting about 500 guests for my baby's 1st birthday. With that many guests, a lot of…read moreenclosed venues would not be able to accommodate that many people. And so, I decided on throwing my baby's party at Bishop Museum's great lawn. With that said, I needed to find a tent company that could supply tables, chairs, and lighting for that amount of guests. Hawaii Tents & Events happened to be the best option especially for the price paid. Other tent companies I researched would have charged easily over $5,000 (without tax) and one company even quoted me close to $10,000. With Hawaii Tents & Events, I did pay a little under $5,000. But as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The tents, tables and chairs weren't in the best condition but they weren't bad looking either. I did knock off a star because my communication with Tracey (Director of Sales & Marketing), though not the worst, was also not the greatest. Over the phone, she seemed really nice. It was just, at times, it was hard to get a hold of her. I didn't get responses as quick as I would have liked, especially when it came down to figuring out the layout of everything. A lot of my other vendors were dependent on the final layout and some decisions throughout my party planning had to be held off longer than I would have wanted. The mediocre communication, however, would not keep me from booking with them in the future. Their prices really cannot be beat!

I loved the magic show and the vibes so they were the first group I thought of and wanted to book for my son's 1st birthday (my husband also loves magic shows so he was stoked we got to book with them). They were literally my one stop shop for MULTIPLE things! We did the party package pro + projector and screen rental. Everything from the inquiry, to the emails, to the payments, AND reminders (because I lose track of time a lot) all were such a smooth process. I'm naturally always anxious and stressed, and want to make sure everything runs smoothly. Sooo much of my anxiety was eased because of Balloon Twisters Hawaii. They were organized, timely, cleaned up after themselves, effectively communicated with my husband and I, AND were such a breath of fresh air with their humor. Our friends and family were all engaged with the entertainment and were loving the variety of options for the balloon twisting. Super happy this all worked out. They'll do their best to give you their best and they know how to deliver. If you look at the photos of the things my friends and I got from them, you'll see how great they are! Listen, we're grown adults celebrating our friend's daughter and if your friend tells you to get balloon hats, you get balloon hats. If the daughter tells aunty to get their face painted, we get our face painted. We wanted her to get her monies worth! Also, we sat right next to the table so it wasn't hard to make a request when there was no line. I don't even have kids but we had a fun time with them. I don't know the next time I'll ever need to book them but I do know they will be so worth it.
