What they have established is truly exceptional! As an early childhood educator with over 17 years of professional experience, I highly recommend Classical Martial Arts. Children need good foundations to thrive. In my observation of the children's classes, not only are students getting the physical activity they need (and also often lacking in today's digital age), they are also learning in every area of development. Socially, they are learning respect and compassion for peers and how to work with others to accomplish goals. Emotionally, they are learning self respect, discipline, confidence, positive coping strategies, and the value of hard work and determination. Sensei Gaddis charismatically adds examples and anecdotes to help children make the connection between the lessons and principles of martial arts and relevant situations in their daily lives. For myself, I was very nervous if I could do this. As an adult, learning something new can be intimidating, and I have my share of personal obstacles. But the positive, supportive atmosphere of the class gives a confidence boost to determination in facing obstacles and overcoming them. I have always been an advocate of positive coping strategies. I believe people should always seek to learn and to improve themselves. The benefits of martial arts training for adults are numerous, and again, those benefits are greatly enhanced by the teaching style and distinct atmosphere established at Classical Martial Arts. Go discover your potential!

The space is clean, safe, and conveniently located. The dojo offers many different styles of Japanese martial arts, instead of just one, and has classes for all ages. Highly recommended.

Walked in to Jack's Boxing Gym, met him, talked to him, and suddenly the hope I lost over 20 years ago is coming back. One month in, I am slowly but surely 'fighting' my way back. There's a real sense of community in this gym from the amazing trainers to the amazing members. Best thing I ever did. I love it! It's a lot more than learning to box. It's about becoming strong, mind and body.

At Jacks you can learn the sport of boxing, both technically and mentally, and you'll get the chance to demonstrate what you've learned at the gym in sparring sessions. But that's not for everyone. I never spared, but enjoyed getting loads of technical feedback on muscle memory, how to move to reduce injuries, how to wrap your hands, how to strike to keep your wrists healthy, and how to move laterally around the bag or your opponent. I would have considered if if my strength and cardio improved enough. your opponents are other gym goers, they're not their to cause concussions. But even if you aren't interested actual fighting, another phenomenal aspect of Jack's gym, is just how many training sessions they offer. Loads of other gyms will offer one, maybe two classes a day, but Jack's offers two morning classes and one evening classes most days during the week. You really won't find that at many other boxing gyms. You'll also get a killer workout every time. Abs? Yeah, you'll have to work on abs(yuck!) but you'll get a good combo of whole body workout as well so you get to develop a lean and strong physique. The other thing i liked about jack's gym are the gym goers. I ran into abuelas and seniors collecting social security, as well as high school kids and was continuously impressed that the staff at Jack's made the gym an inviting place for all fitness levels and all ages, and all goals. You can actually learn the sport at Jack's. In some title gyms you'll get some knuckle head yelling at you for an hour while you punch a bag, with absolutely no feedback on if you're doing anything technically correct, or if you're begging for an injury. At Jack's you can learn to box the right way, which really enhanced my experience. Lastly, Jack's is competitively priced as gyms go. it has a very good value for what you pay. You don't even have to take any classes, it's still a gym, and you can work on the bag or other cardio or strength equipment if the gym is open. If you're even just thinking about it, head on down to Jack's to try it out yourself, you'll be glad you did.
