Arrived at 2:07...sign said closed at 2:30. At counter, owner said "we close in 15 minutes" very rudely. Ordered, paid"to go" because of comment. Owner then started cleaning grill, picked Closed sign and posted it on front door...time was 2:20pm. Sandwich was average($8.00) each. Stopped in for lunch and ordered corn beef sandwiches. Now being the from NY/NJ Area i know a good corn beef sandwich. Kaminsky's left much to be desired. The corn beef was almost shaved and so dry I threw most of it away. They use package rye bread from the grocery store not real rye bread and I asked for deli mustard on my sandwich and they put a drop of it on. The old man (owner) needs to learn how to deal with customers. He's rude. Now I understand why at lunch time the place was empty. Never again. read more

Giving it only one star because it won't let me give it less. Wanted to give this place a try because we always love trying new deli places and it had great reviews. Found it on Yelp and decided to give it a whirl. We are from out of town on vacation so not familiar at all with the hours and they weren't posted on Yelp. As my family of 4 walks in the door, an employee walks by us and utters "you know we're about to close right?" Well, no sir, we did not. Come to find out they closed @ 2:30pm and it was 2:15pm. The looks we got from everyone inside definitely did not give us the warm fuzzies and instead made us feel more like that unwanted guest at the party. Two customers seated nearby that overheard the comment by the employee looked as though they were questioning whether or not they needed to pack up the rest of their food before being kicked out. So needless to say, we left with empty bellies in search of a place to eat that wanted us there. Had the Reuben and Delany sandwiches which were awesome. We also had the tuna macaroni salad and potato salad that were also very good. Prices are great compared to other restaurants in the area. I wanted to try their French onion soup but it wasn't ready when I ordered. I wasn't irritated over that because at least I know they make it fresh. They use premium Boars Head meats. The staff was very polite and friendly. Signs hanging in the restaurant was a little cluttered but the place is clean. If I wasn't here visiting I would eat here often. read more

On the morning of Robyn's birthday (10:30am 8/1) we stopped in to Kaminsky's for a bite. We were greeted by our smiling, gracious hosts, Mike and Eva, who I believe are the owners. The menu, extensive as it was, lacked the lure of the desktop printer, taped up signs, featuring some selected items. I chose the paper sign choice! A knish with two eggs over easy, corned beef and swiss. The knish was served split. With the knish as the base, sitting on top of a slice of cheese was a mound of thinly shaved, tender, moist, corned beef, topped with my two over-medium eggs. It was delicious. I only at half and took the rest home and ate it the next morning for breakfast. Robyn had a custom built sandwich. On sourdough, she had the same yummy corned beef along with pastrami, swiss, Russian dressing and slaw. Robyn said the pastrami, like the corned beef was moist, lean and delicious. Her sandwich was no skimpy offering. She had leftovers for later also. I seek, in a dining experience, something exceptional or outstanding. The decor, personal attention and product served elevate Kaminsky's to that level in my book. As for price, I didn't break the bank for the 2 x 2 meals (count leftovers!), one coffee, one water, plus a fresh cooked blueberry muffin: $31.79. read more

nothing special. not bad or good. I can tell you the pictures of the food on yelp did not look like the food they were selling when i went in. The rolls in the pictures look crisp like a NY bakery, and what i saw in reality was plain ordinarily Food Lion or walmart bread. nothi g stood out as bei g better than what you could make at home. I had the Weight Watchers Tuna Salad with Asian dressing today and it was absolutely delicious. I'm not a big salad fan but Myrtle Beach is so hot that I didn't want anything heavy. The owners were amazing and you could tell they put love into their food and deli. Food was outstanding and the gf tried my lox for the first time. She loved it and ate almost all of it. You people don't know how lucky u are Mike and his family moved down here from Long Island! Otherwise you would've lived out your lives never knowing what a REAL deli looks and smells like. You would've blindly continued eating Subway, Firehouse, and whatever else substitutes for deli down here. Dunkin Donuts/McDonalds is not an egg sandwich. Mike's egg sandwich is an egg sandwich. Your schools should be closed on whatever date he opened. Sure, he's all business, but that's in his NY DNA. Accept it and add a piece of real crumb cake on your way out the door. read more

I have been to Myrtle Beach many times over the years and always looked forward to a sandwich at Kaminskys. I just returned and was greatly disappointed. The restaurant has changed ownership and the current service and food were terrible. Sandwich seemed very fatty and very greasy. Never again will I go to this place. I'm a native of the beach and Mike and his crew have the best deli on the beach hands down. The marble rye is amazing as are all their breads. Only use the best meats and everything is fresh. Don't waste your time going anywhere else on the north end! read more

We're locals and we love this place...great sandwiches and salads...the reuben is the bomb...the owner is ex-law enforcement from NYC and runs the place with family...always busy and for good reason...the downside is no beer...maybe someday... read more

This place was packed during lunch (1:30pm on a Friday) and they had already sold out of steak for the cheese steak and yellow fin for their weight watchers sub. Subs are huge and the potato salad is one of the best I've ever had! Definitely didn't skimp on the meat either. Prices were good and everything is fresh and made-to-order. read more
