Small little local sandwich place. We came from out of town and saw the menu and knew we had to try it. We got the Ruben, the get in my belly and the gobbler. All the sandwiches were so tasty and fresh. The service was great and quick. I can tell the locals love this place since there were quite a few coming in to grab their sandwiches to go! When we arrived there was a women that had red hair and a RBF asked several of us if we had pick up orders, she was not in a friendly mood and when a women in front of us said "yes, here to pick up sandwiches " she gave a look to the women in front of me that could have killed us all! The food was okay , if you want something in your sandwich be specific as it doesn't come naturally. Great make but too many other choices in town to be treated negatively for just an Okay sandwich. Intrigued by the name we stopped in for lunch. What a good choice it was. It's a great little place with a wonderful staff. Dano was friendly and shared his sense of humor with us. They have a bar as well as a deli so you can have a drink with your sandwich. I had the Havana which is their version of a Cuban and it was flavorful and the panini presentation enhanced the flavors. I enjoyed it with a side of slaw. My wife had the tuna salad and seemed to enjoy her sandwich and macaroni salad. If you're in the area give it a try. Dano noticed my VFW Card when I paid and gave me a military/veterans discount. Tip: engage with the staff they will happily help you out. Tip2: if you are military or a veteran ask about a discount. Not kidding when I say this was the best sandwich I've had in a long time. My grandmother and mother both also loved their meals. The staff working was SO friendly and quick. We went around noon on a Thursday and were the only ones there at first, then within the hour the place was poppin! I can't wait to go again soon. read more

Ordered through door dash, so I cannot speak to the service portion, or ambiance. Ordered the Fat Tuna, and got one with chicken salad and one with tuna salad. The bread was nice and fresh, and toasted well. It was a thick, Texas toast style bread. The sandwiches came with cheddar and tomato. The chicken salad was good, and the portion was plenty. I feel like it needed one small tweak to take it from very good to over the top. The potato salad on the side was fresh and the potatoes had the perfect bite. A little more salt or seasoning would help, but overall, really good! The tuna salad was also tasty and the side of macaroni salad was yummy. Beer Belly Deli was such a surprising find on this trip to Murrell's. We stopped in on a Monday for lunch and grabbed a couple of sandwiches. The service was great and very quick. The deli itself is a cool spot with a few tables and deli counter. We got the Get in My Belly, Deli Deluxe, and pasta salad. All were amazing! The GIMB was super unique, flavorful, and not to mention huge! I've never had a sandwich quite like it. The pasta salad was tasty and refreshing. Highly recommend checking out this little spot! I come here every time I visit my parents in Garden City. Usually 2-3x if I'm there on a long weekend. The Palmetto sandwich is the best dang sandwich I've had in South Carolina. Some might say "peerless". The girl that works there is quiet but you can tell she's cool and she is probably the most consistent food service professional I've ever encountered. One of my favorites lunch places in Murrells inlet! It's a small adorable locally own restaurant that offers indoor & outdoor seating! They have so many different options of cold and hot sandwiches. They use high quality meat & cheeses from boars head! You definitely cant beat the taste! They also offer many delicious sides to choose from. They also offer variety of different beer on tap! My absolute favorite go to is the Angry bird with the pasta salad! The chipotle mayo is to die for! You also can't forget the amazing and friendly staff! I am giving Beer Belly Deli three stars but i want to give it a 3.5, just had to be clear about that. We ordered two sandwiches, a Mr. Rueben and an Angry Bird. I was not there to get the food but my daughter was, she was put off by a woman who clearly worked there smoking a cigarette IN FRONT OF THE STORE! Go to the back if you must smoke. The woman then walks into the store and without washing her hands gets behind the counter. At least she put on gloves. If i had been there my New York self would have said something to her. So... we got off to a rocky start, but still had high hopes based on the number of five star reviews. Did they live up to their reputation, hmmm, I think i would have given them four stars if we had eaten the food there. As it was they put these toasted sandwiches in styrofoam boxes so any crunchiness from the toasting was lost. Again, eating there should alleviate this problem. I had the Mr. Rueben. Nice corned beef but it could have used a more aggressive seasoning, but it was still a nice, tender meat, sauerkraut was okay even though it lacked "bite" . Interesting thing, as I think back to eating the sandwich, I was about to comment on the Swiss cheese when i realized that I don't recall seeing any LOL. I know it was there but must have been pretty much a non-entity if I don't recall it. Now don't get me wrong, it was a decent sandwich which would have been better if i ate it there. We can say the same thing for the Angry Bird, a nice enough sandwich but all of the crunch was gone, actually we wondered if it had been toasted at all. The sides were macaroni salad which had a good enough flavor and seasoning but lost points because it was cooked far too long and became far too soft. Again we can say the same about the pasta salad, just too darn soft. These two sides could have really set this place apart from its competition if they were each cooked for a minuted if not two less. Sandwiches also came with better than average pickle spear, good crunch and nicely aggressive garlic flavor. The question at the end of the day is would you eat there again and the answer id absolutely I would, but i would eat THERE not do take-away. read more

The "Get In My Belly" is my fav, which consists of corned beef, pastrami, turkey, swiss cheese, cheddar cheese, roasted red peppers, red onion, chipotle mayo, served on multigrain. Very delicious. "The Brooklyn" is another favorite with pastrami, turkey, Swiss cheese, cole slaw, 1000 island, served on toasted rye. You can't go wrong. read more
