With the last dying light we could see a forest fire in front and behind. The wind was blowing smoke and I wasn't sure how in danger we were. I had BCAA premium package and decided to call myself in as I was at the top of a hill and actually within cell range in a very spotty area. The driver would call when he was in cell range and tried to find me in the middle of the night but the roads were to convuluted and narrow to get to me. I finally tried a last ditch effort and chopped out the rock and bumped it a final time to limp as quickly as I could on the last gasp of the battery to a friendly welcoming Chris who got us into Kamloops for a repair at 5:30 in the morning. I am very grateful for his patience and understanding for a long overnight ordeal. Thanks Chris!

On two occasions they told me that they would send me the receipt "today" and nothing ever came through. Because of this I will be out of pocket for all towing expenses instead of submitting them for reimbursement. This seems like a must if you are ever going to use a tow company. On top of this the driver called me during dinner the day after the tow and asked for me to leave a review which was kind of annoying then and super annoying now. Would recommend using somebody else.

I went to them to have a new set of wheels installed and the month old wheels on the vehicle removed. After the service both sets of wheels showed damage in the form of scratches around the perimiter of the wheels. The brand new wheels were also covered in sealant, grease and grime. It appeared there was little care and effort applied to the work. The manager and customer service representative were apologetic and very accomodating. This business is lucky to have Andy and Mal. After sending pictures to the manager, he committed to repairing the brand new set and possibly buying the month old set off of me - he communicated the owner wanted to see them himself. After viewing the month old rims, the owner formed the conclusion that they were "used", that the damage was pre-existing and that it was not caused by his employees. Strangely he then wrote, "the damage is extremely faint and minor". I wonder if he would feel the same if the wheels belonged to him and he had paid to have them removed. He formed this conclusion without seeing the rims before the work was performed. The abolutely insane part of this scenario is that the scratches are identical on both sets of rims. When pics of the damage are viewed side by side it is undeniable they were caused by the same tool/process/force. I am struggling to understand how he is willing to take responsibility for the identical damage done to one set, yet not the other. His words suggests he believes a certain level of damage is acceptable. Further, he insisted that the process of powder coating the new set was going to result in a better finish and he was happy to pay for that. In fact this never happened and they were instead simply spot repaired. Through this process I had to provide an alternate set of rims to be used while the others were sent away, and I spent 3 weeks waiting for the turn around (which was promised to be 1-2 weeks). During that time there was zero communication. Further, the owner never reached out to me to discuss the issue or see what my expectations were to make things right. Instead he had his manager text me his decision, and said I could call him if I wished. A good business operates by initiating tough conversations and reaching common ground through effective communication. This owner did neither of those things. Reach Tire's owner hid behind a claim of being a, "small business that stands behind what they do" without actually doing so. There is something wrong when a customer pays a business money, has their property damaged and is then made to feel they have done something wrong. As I said, take pictures before you allow this company to work on your vehicle. Shocking.

It was in a rural area and where I went off was difficult to locate and hard to see. Lou and Kevin went well above and beyond and preserved to find me and my vehicle (including walking down a very long steep gravel road to try to see if that was were I was located, as well as checking back n'forth along the main road when they couldn't find me). When they arrived, they were very professional, skilled and pleasant and worked as a team to do a superb job of pulling my vehicle out from the situation I was in. A huge thank you to Lou and Kevin and Brian's Towing Ltd. They did an excellent job and I was lucky they were the ones who came to my rescue!

I parked and followed the instructions to pay for parking and to put the receipt on the dash of my car. When I returned to get my car out of the lot it was gone. I was told I had parked illegally and the attendant there pointed me in the direction of a sign that was placed behind two other signs and had branches from a tree covering it. The sign said that it was for boat launch parking only. Also, the sign where I paid to park didn't mention that the lot was for boat launch only. When I arrived in the morning the attendant was not there. It is clear what is happening here. A parking lot that charges $5 for a full day of parking isn't making a lot of money and for sure not enough to hire an attendant. The attendant is obviously there to call Vernon towing to tow cars out of the lot that didn't launch boats and that is how this lot makes money. So I am from out of town and they have caught me with this scam. To make matters worse I had plans to go home tonight as I have to work tomorrow. Vernon towing is saying that I can not pick up my car today because they are closed but they are still towing cars right now. You just can't get it back today. Now I know that this is a towing company and there are not many reputable towing companies in this world and I wouldn't expect Vernon towing to be any better or even reputable. But this is a scam that is taking advantage of tourists and Coldstream should shut this down. Now I am writing this review in hopes that those that read this chose to not use Vernon towing if there is another option available to them. I hope they go out of business.

This was during the summer with active forest fires in the area and smoke covering the skies. My vehicle was Kia Sorento and there were 2 youths also in the vehicle when it broke down. I called the Kia 24 Hr Roadside Assistance number and was advised they would have to tow the vehicle to the closest Kia dealership in Penticton. And then I was advised that given the forest fires, there were no accommodations available in Penticton nor any vehicle rentals. They also advised that the tow company could only take one passenger. There were no transportation options available in Princeton. This was not a pleasant situation to find oneself in. I requested the tow company call me prior to being dispatched so I could discuss our circumstances. Stephanie from Reliable Towing called me and I advised her of the situation. She attended where we had pulled over and we discussed options. She acknowledged that towing to Penticton would not be a feasible option with no accommodations available and no way to depart the area, we would be stuck on the side of the road. She had brought a large enought truck to transport the three of us and our vehicle back to Vancouver which was the only real option. The added costs were mine to bear. Stephanie was very professional and accommodating and dropped the three of us at our home enroute to the Vancouver Kia dealership. I can not thank Stephanie and Reliable Towing enought for what they did for us. The final tow bill I was out of pocket was $981 but feel it was worth it to be home, safe and sound. The engine was under warranty and replaced at no cost the following week.

We waited patiently as we understand that the roads aren't in great condition and safety comes first. After about another hour we assumed the best and that maybe they were sending a truck from Kamloops instead. So we waited another hour before finally calling again to which they informed us that they "transferred our call to Mario's". We called Mario's, to which they responded that they hadn't heard anything from Reliable Towing. At this point I've licked every chip bag in the vehicle clean and every semi-truck driver In western Canada has seen me pee on the side of the highway. We called Reliable Towing back and the deflecting, game playing run around dispatch INSISTED that her driver had seen a Mario's truck helping us out- however we were three hours into this fiasco and hadn't seen a single person to help us. We did not receive a SINGLE apology and as they were trying to send us another driver it was quite clear that they had no sense of urgency even though it was by their error that we had been stuck on the side of one of the most dangerous highways in Canada in winter conditions for hours on end. 0/10 I do not recommend anyone trusting this company with the safety of them, their friends or family, they have a very obvious disregard to public safety and cause public endangerment.

I went out there to ask what was going on and he ran to his truck and ignored me. He was swearing and yelling at my neighbor before I got out there, despite my neighbor being very calm and respectful... It turns out he was trying to get more money from my neighbor because he used too much gas on his delivery...how unprofessional! It looked like the car was delivered in good condition from what I saw but holy smokes was that man unbelievably unprofessional and rude!!!!! He was a caucasian guy in his late 50's early 60's. I'll definitely be making a note to never use this company as I would never want to deal with someone who acts that way!
