Actually extremely solid ramen. Probably one of the better ones I've had in London! Came on a…read moreweekday lunch and was still able to get a seat inside which is nice. Also they seem pretty Covid conscious with the screens dividing between the tables. I ordered the Menya Ramen which is essentially the regular Tonkatsu Ramen. I really appreciate the fact that this one already had a soft-boiled egg in it which I always think is the best part about ramen, and this one is no different. Wasn't the biggest fan of the chasu pork, but I did appreciate the seaweed as well as the rich broth. I thought the amount the gave was also quite a bit for the price, especially with the amount of noodles they had. Overall, pretty great experience at Menya. Will definitely come back for more!

I had the miso, very flavorful, chasu pork was perfect, just enough fat to be flavorful, very tender. Gyoza we're solid and the kimchee was very good. My son and I traded for a taste and next time I am going for the Menya Ramen, no spice. It was so savory, subtle, I wanted the bowl to be bottomless. Service was as prompt as possible for a Sunday afternoon after the museum. Line went fast. Thank you for the amazing meal.

As it was recommended for a good Japanese ramen place. I would say about half of the tables were full late Monday afternoon. Server comes to take order and got the food in timely manner, about 10 minutes?? Bao Bun - Price of £13.30 for two is too much. This is expensive. Bun was soft and warm, fried chicken inside was good, but it did not justify the price tag. Size could have been bigger or price needs to be cheaper than £13.30. If not for Bao Bun, I would have given five stars. Tonkotsu (The OG) - No complaints. £14.80 feels cheap compared to Bao Buns two for £13.30. Noodles were good, soup had rich flavor from the broth, menma was crunchy, boiled egg was just cooked to perfection, there were even garlic cloves and garlic press at each table to use! I felt like I was in Japan. Payment at the table. Ask for check and one of the staffs will bring the credit card machine for payment.

I'd say the vibe is hipster and definitely leans more touristy than authentic. I found the ramen to be plentiful. The noodles and egg were nice but the broth was flat. It was 26 usd for one bowl. Overall it was ok but not quite worth the price.

The broth was creamy, rich, and packed with flavor. Our waiter explained that the bones are slow-cooked in water, then removed while the broth continues to reduce, creating its incredibly creamy, flavorful texture. The noodles are made fresh daily, and you can definitely taste the difference. The service was outstanding as well--our waiter was knowledgeable, attentive, and happy to explain the preparation process. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience, and I will definitely be back!

Upon entry, the staff greeted you warmly and were on point to execute a perfectly designed bowl of ramen for your eating pleasure. I honestly felt guilty from the way I enjoyed my ramen given how much my oldest daughter loves the food. I appreciated how open the staff was to making my bowl "extra" spicy and adding yet another egg even though it wasn't specifically on the menu but satisfied my particular desire. What added to the "realness" of the resturant was the steady flow of what seemed to be true ramen experts coming in and navigating the scene, menu, and food at lightning speed with even better eating results. If ramen is your thing, then you NEED to check out this place. Definitely one of the top spots for Ramen I've been to in all my travels. Sorry for no pics, but I dove in before I could contain myself, lol.
