This Ace Hardware has been my go to hardware store since I moved here in 2018. I Have always been very happy with their customer service. However, on October 7th prior to Hurricane Milton, I was doing storm prep and purchased 5 cans of Flex Seal spray which was suggested by one of the associates. I then returned home to prep and watched the Flex Seal video to apply this product correctly. After using the product, I found that it did not work the way the way it was presented. During the application, I only used one can of the product. Since it did not perform the way it was presented, I went back to Ace and tried to return the remaining 4 cans. To my surprise, they told me that it was a hurricane related product and could not be returned even though they had not been used. Also, It was very suspicious that they did not tell the consumer prior to purchasing the product, that it could not be returned. This kind of policy is DISGUSTING AND UNFAIR TO THE HARD WORKING PEOPLE OF THIS COUNTY!! Here we are getting ready to face a deadly Hurricane, and most consumers are desperate to save their homes and purchasing items they are told may help. KANE'S ACE hardware is taking advantage of hard working people trying to do what they can to save their homes. They will take your money with no problem, but trying to return a product that did not work, they tell you get F'd. Never again will I go back to this establishment. A Complaint has been filed with the Florida State Attorney's Office. read more

Very biased against women customers. Salesmen don't listen to a women, just assume they know better, which they do not! They give bad information and sell products to us that we do not need. When management is made aware, their response is to yell at us! Terrible way to conduct business. Current management should all be fired for their conduct. read more

Plain night light or one you'll never find anywhere, and figurines of all kinds. Customer service that can't be matched. Guns and hunting supplies, camping, lawn and garden. With a large selection of tools for cars and then the great paint dept. They know how to treat a customer and take you to the product. read more

Another fantastic experience at ACE. I wanted to purchase a gun online and pick it up at Ace. I called Ace and spoke with Al in sporting goods. Al was extremely friendly and helpful. He was patient, answered all my questions and offered excellent advise. His help was very much appreciated and the reason I always choose Ace first. When the gun came in I went in and Jim did my paperwork, including background check, which was a very easy and pleasant experience. I am interested in a concealed permit and Jim gave me all the information on it. Jim showed me the 5 cartridge magazine Ace stocks for using my MP15 for hunting. Overall another great experience. Today the three day wait was over and I picked up my new gun. There are many other establishments, closer to my home, where I could have done this transaction but I prefer Ace because of their excellent service! Worst store ever !! Every time I've been in there, I've been mislead. Sold the wrong stuff and given a hard time by the rude employees when I try to return items, even if the products were new and unopen. Seems like when I call to check availability, they would do anything to get you in the store and then say they don't have the product. Just happened again. 25 mile drive for nothing. Had a key copy made there. It was poorly done, got stuck in the lock, and could not be removed. When I went back to complain, I was confronted with a hostile, blonde moron who insisted it was my fault. She then suggested I leave the key in the lock, my house unlocked, and speak to the general manager; who would not be back until next week. These $h1theads caused me to replace the lockset and refused to take any responsibility for it. Go to a place with competent employees instead. read more

I love hardware stores! Kane's is a great place to find all sorts of things, but, the thing that makes Kane's outstanding is the people. They make you feel like family when you walk in the door. Saturday we went to Home Depot to buy cement blocks to put our furniture on before Hurricane Irma came Sunday night. Home Depot was already closed!! Come to find out they closed on Friday. We drove past Ace and they were open. I noticed a stack of cement blocks and went in to buy some. I was told they are for store use only and are not for sale, but talk to the manager, Bob. I asked him if I could please borrow them. I didn't really want to buy cement blocks, wouldn't have any place to store them after the storm anyway. Not knowing me, not even my name, he told me I could borrow some. I was so thankful. Our home is in a flood zone and they were predicting a storm surge. Bob let me take the blocks not knowing if he'd ever see them again or not. I just can't thank Bob and everyone at Kane's enough. When everyone was in a last minute panic and rush, they continued to provide a calm and friendly atmosphere. Thank you all SO much. Especially Bob, from the bottom of my heart. And thankfully our house did not flood and of course we returned the cement blocks. read more

What a wonderful shopping experience. We were greeted as soon as we walked in the store and to personalized service the entire time we were there. Why would we shop in that orange store when there is never anyone available to help you find anything. The entire staff here asked me if I needed help as I was wandering around as my husband had his "personal assistant" helping him. Kudos to Kanes Ace Hardware!!! read more
