If you're cruising down I-15 near Paragonah, UT, the Lunt Park South Rest Area is a solid spot to pull over and reset. The parking lot is big, clearly marked, and easy to navigate. There are plenty of parking spots and lots of room. It's clean and well-kept, which isn't always the case with rest stops. The views around here are classic Utah too, with wide open skies and red rock vibes, so it's actually a nice little place to stretch your legs. It can also get very windy, so hang on to your hat if you are wearing one. The restroom facilities are very basic, but they were well stocked with plenty of toilet paper and soap at the sink. There's also a small vending machine if you need a snack or soda. They don't allow overnight camping. Overall it's not fancy, but it's exactly what you want in a rest area: convenient, safe, and peaceful enough to catch your breath before getting back on the road. Oh, and my kitty was just fine and did so well in the car the rest of the trip! He's such a good boy.

Off the beaten path by maybe driving 2 minutes out of my way from the busy intersection off the highway and the bustle of the super busy gas stations around there, this was a quite mirage of sorts. A working air pump, nobody there getting gas but me, a lovely quiet retail space selling snacks and drinks and clean bathrooms, a nice girl working behind the counter. It appears the backside of this station does a big amount of trucking business, but not at the small gas station where I was. So ignore the trucks and drive on over for a less hassled rest stop and gas refill...and don't forget the air pump if you need it.

This one had a good selection of jewelry and some of the best prices, especially compared to Tuba City, Cameron, and Sedona. Some of the items they carry are not especially unique and can be found in other stores, but the prices here are good. The sales people were very helpful and I was able to find exactly the ring that I was looking for at a reasonable price (under $50). Many rings are sold all over the Southwest, but not so many like the one I wanted, which is a little old-fashioned and has beautiul silverwork. I was trying to buy a ring to go with an older turquoise, coral, and silver cuff I inherited from my mother. Later I realized that the prices here were really very good, so if you can find what you want here, buy it!

Sinclair is an awesome place to get gas, it's always been my favorite because it has great gas mileage at fairly lowest price compare to most places. I always saved a lot of money while pumping gas at Sinclair, it lasts me a lot longer. This gas station opens 24/7, super cool for emergency purposes (like my situation) and truly convenient for travelers as well. People will appreciate it when needed. I see a lot of trucks pull over and park there. The parking lots are huge just like the rest area which I thought super cool. There is no restrooms here though. I wish there is one so people can you use it as needed.
