Red Ledge RV Park is approx 0.25 mi from the entrance of Kanarra Falls making it a prime location for hikers. Unfortunately the weather wasn't cooperative with us and we weren't able to hike the whole thing due to snow. Our stay here was pleasant. Check in process went smoothly. There was WiFi and locked bathrooms with showers that were fairly clean. The people we did see were kind and kept to themselves. It looks like they have picnic tables, BBQs, and a fire pit available for use but due to the snow those amenities weren't usable for us. Overall, I would stay here again, but probably during the warmer seasons.

They know what is available and what is not in a matter of seconds. Laundry, dog park, fitness center, ice cream truck, dog run, fire pit, dog washing station with hot and cold water and so much more. I stayed one night originally but requested a second night and had to changed sites after running some errands. Staff is great, friendly and funny! Shower house and laundry room were clean and instant hot water. They had someone escort us to our site by golf cart. During our week long stay we received text messages about an ice cream truck and other gatherings. There was very little traffic noise. The price was very reasonable. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again! Do be aware there is a strict cancellation policy.

Beautifully designed, thoughtfully maintained, and surprisingly affordable for the level of amenities. When you first pull in, you're greeted by a water feature and a large, gorgeous building that sets the tone. Inside is check-in (staff were super friendly and accommodating), as well as a mercantile open to both guests and locals. They serve coffee, have snacks, t-shirts, and small essentials -- a great little touch. Walk through that main building and you enter the guest community space, which is outstanding. There's a pool table, piano, movie-watching area, card tables, and even a huge kitchen for gatherings. In the back, there's a room with air hockey, ping pong, and pinball. The building also houses the laundry room, plus multiple guest bathrooms. Step outside and you'll find a barbecue and outdoor seating area for entertaining. The pool complex is resort-level. A zero-entry pool with a fountain cascading from the center, a very large (kidney-shaped) hot tub that's shaded in the afternoon, plenty of seating, and an outdoor shower and bathroom for convenience. The whole area is beautifully fenced and landscaped. Towels are even provided. The park itself has around 150 sites -- spacious, landscaped, and well thought-out. Some newer sections are still being finished, but what's completed shows the level of detail: plants, flowers, and green grass between sites. It feels open and inviting, not crammed in like so many other RV parks. Down at the lower end of the park is a gem -- a pond with a bridge, market lights, catch-and-release fishing, paddle boats, a kayak, and a walking path around it. At night, with the lights reflecting off the water, it's stunning. There's even a small dog park nearby for your pup to stretch out. Between the design, amenities, and the atmosphere, this resort is in a class of its own. We've stayed at plenty of "resorts" that charged more but offered half as much. This place is the real deal, and we loved every minute of it. We'll absolutely be back.

I've hiked Knarrville falls 4 times now and the last time I was there I met a gentleman who was SO…read morefriendly, knowledgeable and generous...it so happened that he ran the campgrounds there in that space. He suggested my friend and I relax (after our hike) and let us use the porta potty, which was purple and was "clean" as far as porta pottys go! Anyway, because of that...I decided the next time I went back I would order a snack, I'm all about supporting local businesses, especially in small towns! Fast forward this summer...I brought two friends hiking and the three of us stopped to have snow cones! Now, I haven't had a snow cone in years...so, it was somewhat nostalgic and fun with all the creative names they have. They were good but more up my kids alley than mine, as I'm older, I've limited my intake of sugar. Now if there was a variety of "Margarita" snow cones, I'd be ALL IN!! LOL Bottom line: the proprietors here are great people with lots of knowledge about the area and it's a refreshing treat for you and or the kiddos to have something cold and tasty on a hot day!
