True Bliss Healing is ran by "Ashley" and she is a Reiki Master. Her office is located in a great spot along Bardstown Rd, close to where it intersects with Baxter Ave. Sessions are by appointment only. You can dial her to book, or I filled out a contact form. Her current website also contains more information about her and the work she does. The office is small, but extremely cozy. There's a great waiting area with comfortable seating and the smell of incense. Ashley pointed me into her room and said that all I had to do was "relax". She supplied me with information about herself and the process. She also questioned if I was experiencing pain in any area of my body. The session lasted approximately an hour. I was awake for the session but kicked off my shoes and relaxed with a lavender pillow over my eyes. You will lie on your back and later flip over to expose it. Ashley does use light touch healing - some Reiki Masters do not, but the choice is yours. I opted for her to do this and it was not uncomfortable. Throughout the session she worked her way down my body, focusing on each chakra. After the session, Ashley was great about explaining what she uncovered (i.e. blocked energy showed up in a specific area that has been bothering me for months). She also answered my questions about energy, crystals and what to expect after the session. Apparently, energy can shift for another 24-48 hours after the session. While some people do not experience any sensations during a healing session, some do - and I can say with certainty that there were distinct moments of feeling a shift for me. The best way to describe it was a tingle of electricity in a certain area - and once it felt like riding your car over a hill. It was great to relax my mind, focus on my breathing and my body. I felt relaxed and focused throughout the remainder of the day.

There was the place with the 3 year wait, the place that forgot to make note of the appointment and a few others. This just happened to come along and apparently, it was the right place, time and person. I came with a group of 4, all from my moms side. This might not be necessary but we didn't want to complicate things for our family members that had passed on. To say our reading was amazing is an understatement. The details that Jessica knew absolutely blew me away. From a grandmother that was on oxygen to an uncle who had throat cancer to a grandpa who had Alzheimer's...I honestly felt as though she captured their personalities and their individuality while getting their messages through. I know that we were able to let go of some feelings that we were holding onto. It was so great to know that my family that had passed on still had so much to say (and fuss over!)
