Which is BAD medical practice and I ended up reporting the establishment for this. The owner emailed me and told me I got a "good deal and just need to wait for my results" and refused a partial refund for the experience. I ended up paying $275 which I was not prepared to pay and I would have 100% refused service if I had known that is what I would be paying as I get a better deal at my usual spot. Just be aware if you're going for the first time make sure to tell them budget and units you want or they will just do as they see fit to get your money. Disgusting greedy behavior truly. Other than that the front desk people were nice and the environment was nice as well.

I don't think the nutritionist prepares patient well. Telling a person who got fat from poor nutrition to eat certain amounts of macros is meaningless if they don't help educate the patient on proper healthy eating. I think weekly or monthly nutrition classes need's to be a priority for pre surgery and post surgery. I will also say that after lab tests I had a heck of time getting staff to follow up with me about RXs and other medical questions. Now with all that said, I still highly recommend Dr Gore. as he saved my life! The office is quiet, clean, and decently decorated. The reception staff are super friendly.

I had the correct date and time....I was in the right area (I pre registered 3 weeks prior) but they said I wasn't on the surgery schedule. How could this be? I was told to wait while she check further into it. She came back and said nope your not on the surgery schedule and for me to call my Drs office and speak with them. I got in my car and went there because it is next door to the hospital. They say no you are on our schedule...and that noone has called them today from the hospital. So after checking with the office staff they conclude that I need to talk with the person who forgot to inform me of the cancellation. She was trying to be nice and I could tell that she really could give 2 pooh's less.....she never took the blame...all I was told was that my Drs assistant wasnt there so that's why the surgery was canceled. If something is canceled wouldnt you think that the person would be informed about the cancelattion?...no back up plan for the assistance? I understand business practices and they always have a backup plan....now I'm more terrified than I was before about having this surgery. I wish they would have handled my situation better. It is the close of the business day and no word back if they can get me on a schedule at all before the Dr goes on vacation....there is no telling how long I'm going to have to wait now....btw thanks for the 2 $5.00 walmart gift cards that really shows true concern! 8 am-4:40pm and no solution yet....its a schedule I'm hoping the lady figures out how to properly use it. I had only a few minutes to spare, and the man who was working behind the counter was quick to put my shake together and very accomodating. I got the Elvis shake, which has peanut butter and banana, a personal favorite. Both of the flavors came through in this, and it left me feeling full for several hours afterward. The price was $7.50, which was a bit high for a shake, but it also seems like there is a lot of goodness in these shakes. I also saw some exercise balls in the space, and the man who served me said they have workouts here as well. If I was a UofL student, this would be a place I would regularly stop. My husband actually lived around the corner from here when he was in college. I wish this had been here then.

So the whole process is three different steps. It's $7 for the whole thing. First, they give you a mango aloe shooter. I was a little scared to try it but it was surprisingly good. Next, they give you an herbal tea. You can choose between raspberry, peach, or lemon. I don't like tea at all, but these were really good! The last step is choosing your shake. They've got probably over 50 flavors. There's a huge variety like wedding cake, banana nut muffin, blueberry cheesecake, fruity pebbles, Cinnamon Toast Crunch, thin mint and a ton more that were so interesting. I got white chocolate covered strawberry. It's delicious and very filling. I also tried the banana nut muffin and cherry cordial and they were both awesome. The guys working there were so friendly and talkative. They explained everything and gave recommendations. They made us feel comfortable even though we had no clue how the whole process worked.
