However, I will not and I'd much rather drive to Virginia to support a more professional business. As soon as I walk through the door I'm greeted with "can you leave that outside." The lady, who I assume is the owner, had been referring to my small dog. I offered to have my dog sit at the door if she was concerned about her using the restroom on her floor (which was understandable even though my dog is well trained. I know she doesn't know that so fine.) she replied with "I'd rather you not have it in here at all." I understand not everyone is a dog person but it comes down to how you address situations in your establishment that determines the overall success of a business. She was flat out RUDE and unprofessional! I left without buying anything because why would I support someone that doesn't even know how to talk to people. I'm not sure if I got lucky, because on the website it says you can schedule an appointment and I can understand why because the space is small. (Mostly just a counter and then whoever is working can help you based on what you're looking for.) The shop smells so good by the way - clean, with the most fragrant candle scents. My first order I just picked up in the shop but my second order I placed online. As it turns out, they were waiting for a delivery that would arrive in about 10 days for my purchase. On that date, I was wondering if my bundles had arrived and before I even had a chance to check the owner gave me a call to update me that the shipment had been delayed but that she will give me an update on the Friday before my appointment (which was the following week) so that she could help me plan. Like clockwork, she gave me a call that Friday and then again the Monday when my order actually arrived. She was kind enough to also have my order Ubered to the salon for convenience, and as so professional and communicative every step of the way. When someone's words align with their actions consistently, it builds trust and that's been my experience so far with the business. The owner even texted me to update me when my original desired order was back in stock - now that is customer service. I'll definitely continue to support!

I have followed up multiple times and she has ignored every single one of my emails and phone calls. That was in July and I have since given up on hearing back. This soured the experience for me and left me with picking up the entire $750 cost while I'm already dealing with high costs of treatment (my insurance would have reimbursed me half the cost of the wig). Disappointing considering she markets herself as supporting education for wig care in cancer patients.
