I was starting to look like Rifrak in Rocky Horror. I found a long piece, which fits in over the balding spots on my crown, and long hair in back. Joi did a great job and tweaking the wig to fit my hairstyle, and was so nice and listenend to what i wanted. When I went to the other wig shops, I felt like they were telling me more than I was explaining what I wanted. I felt there were less options for me there. Joi's listened to me right away and catered to what I wanted. She also made really sure I understood how exactly to put the piece on. I left there very happy and glad I'd made the extra drive. They told me they only had two colors they could use for me. Said they mixed the two colors that was a lie.!!! Those colors were never mixed. She sloped on the copper and then put some brown around the edges and at the bottom. It looks like Ronald McDonald tried to go ombré. Course the picture she sent only showed the front of the wig. Made the mistake of saying I was a hairstylist so they said it might be better if they shipped me a wig called a 613 and I cut and color it myself. Now they billed the VA for this couple hundred dollars at least. I looked on Amazon and the 613 wig is 80 bucks. Rip off!!! if you are a Caucasian woman, they can only use two colors they said. VA said that is another LIE. Apparently they do not know how to mix the colors and use them together properly. I do not recommend this place at all because of course they're nice when they want to rope you in, but when Reality hits no, they lie. Jackie lied and said that I cut the Wigs and altered them. I absolutely did not. I did not even try them on. I said IF I HAD TRIED TO ALTER IT, it would have been nothing but strings on the bottom. If you're a hairstylist, do not tell them that or they will expect you to do the work while they get the money. If you are a Caucasian female, I highly suggest you go someplace else or ask the VA about giving you to another wig vendor. That deals with more Caucasian women. Sadly, after I contacted Kimberly again she said it was a done deal and began to have an attitude and speak in unkindly terms. It was too bad and the wig was altered she said. I told her they absolutely have not been altered. They did not open them to even see the Wigs. They just wanted their money. Either way you've been warned. I wanted a custom bang wig and my friend that referred me to her assured me she was good and could achieve the style I wanted COOL! Spoke to tinq gave pictures for a reference everything seemed to be fine! I paid my deposit plus some in cash( big mistake) Although I was told it was a week turnaround it took longer than a week THEN on the day of my appointment the wig still was not complete as I sat an hour waiting for Tinq to arrive along with other clients her assistant completed my wig ! Mmkay The day of my original appointment was bad weather so it was canceled and rescheduled NO PROBLEM I sat almost 2 hours waiting for this lady to show up only for her to come and see I guess her regulars before me although I was there before them ! Prior to my appointment I explained I needed to be gone by a certain time and she agreed HA! I was two hours late for my class because she put a client before me and my wig wasn't complete !! So I had no choice but to sit and wait because my hair looked a mess I couldn't work nor leave town looking as such ! She sold me cheap hair to install that was 3 different colors and keeps tangling. The place is dirty and she has her child there jumping on you whom she constantly yells at! I wouldn't recommend her services to my worst enemy! I invested a lot of money in this style and got bamboozled! Do not go here! She kept trying to convince me the style looks like the pic I asked her to do! It looked nothing like the pic! I'm so upset and embarrassed! This is the worse looking weave I've ever seen!
