There is a lot of bad reviews on here but, this place is under new ownership and management for a few years now. I have had nothing but helpful service and pleasant experiences in the shipping store now. Tiare fixed this place up! Definitely a good resource to have in the neighborhood. read more

This place is no good. I went in and paid my storage early and went to my storage the same day and had been robed but the keyed lock that I had bought new was still and no one else had ever had a key. Now they will not return my deposit or the month I paid for. read more

The lady working here is very unprofessional, lies to you to your face (verified by her business partners that she is lying) she believes her tiny company is self-sustainable, and thinks her service is the only one available. Unprofessional does not begin to explain the customer service philosophy at this establishment. I tried to return a 3 ring binder that was cracked inside and was turned down because I was 6 days past the 30 day return policy. No apology for selling damaged goods or a store credit offered, rather a response from the owner/manager that I should have come back sooner, as she pointed to the return policy posted on a wall (nothing on the receipt). So I buy a faulty product and I'm the irresponsible one for not arranging my schedule around their time limit. If she had expressed an ounce of compassion I'd forget about the 10 bucks and pathetic customer service. Instead I will take my future business needs to the UPS store a 1/2 mile down the road and watch this business gradually go under. read more

Was on the phone with this place yesterday.  I call every month to pay my storage bill.  I have noticed their rudeness in the past, but never done anything about it before.  Yesterday they were more rude than normal, so I politely asked to speak to her boss.  The woman that was "helping" me, Alexis, claimed that she was the manager and that if I wanted to talk to her boss, I would have to e-mail her (Alexis) first, and she would forward it on to the owner.  She said the owner's name is Kathryn Gillan (sp?). The email address she gave me is kapaasps.gmail.com.  I'm going to email, but my guess is that the "manager" won't pass along the complaint. We'll see. read more

You try to support a small local business instead of a major chain e.g. Longs/Walgreens but then you run into the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The owner Alexis is rude, uninformative, and unaware of standard customer service standards. She literally held her hand up and told me to stop talking when suggesting they get a new camera for their passport pictures. The camera is from the 90s, and is not suitable for taking adequate pictures. I am completely appalled at her lack of understanding of how she can improve her business. Horrible attitude, don't support- go to Walgreens or somewhere else. I hate leaving bad reviews but this was a must. read more

I was treated very rudely by the person at the desk of this business. Did not get her name! I came to pick up an important fax that my husband had sent me from the mainland. She was not going to let me have it because my husband did not put my name on it. But because I happen to have my husband's social security with me and it was on the fax, she reluctantly let me have it. But she was very rude about the whole thing. I am usually not one to leave reviews but this time I feel urged to do so. I have been a customer of Kapaa Ship, Print for over 10 years and have always had a professional experience. We try to support local businesses as much as possible, understanding the importance of sustainability on our island. I called them this morning needing some advice on my daughters coming up birthday invitations. My daughter was excited for it, I had the speaker on. Birthday planning is about all the details true? The woman who answered the phone was by no means willing to help with advice. She was short and cut me off numerous times saying she can't help me unless she sees the invitation. I was repeating my question patiently a few times until she actually heard what I was inquiring about. Formats options, paper options, prices. Then she impatiently, in one breath blurred out the prices. It was clear that she was clearly annoyed with us waisting her time at work. She had no aloha or customer appreciation. None of us were clear on anything. I asked her if she could kindly repeat the options, she said that we want too much information over the phone and said not to call back but to come in if we wanted her to print anything. And hung up. My daughter had tears in her eyes and because of those I am writing this. In hopes that this woman isn't the owner of the only printing place in Kapa'a, can get a warning from her authorities as well as in hopes that she can realize that her bahavior was not only unprofessional but also lacking in aloha spirit. That she is willing to change her ways to a professional service oriented one. That way we can continue to support local business. The woman was working today 3/6/19 in morning hours. I will also go there today to see if I can talk with someone in charge. There is no going out of my way for the tears in my daughters eyes. read more

Absolute WORST business practices I have ever experienced. The owner/manager is incredibly disrespectful. My husband and I own two properties in Kauai. We are building a house up the street from this business so we opened an account and gave her our credit card number to be charged (a year upfront I believe). Fast forward a year - we had been on the mainland for the majority of the year. When I came back I went inside the business and requested something to be shipped, new credit card in hand, unknowing that something was wrong. We have an accountant who pays our bills and I was not notified the credit card number changing had been an issue with this specific issue. We had not used their services the entire time we were on the mainland. Instead of asking me what happened and allowing to make up the bill/ pay for the new year, she went ballistic. Kicked me out, made threatening comments, and despite my pleading to allow her to let us pay, was incredibly aggressive. I can honestly say that I have never been in this kind of confrontation with an owner/manager... not to mention the fact that there were other customers inside of the business. Talk about anger issues! Please don't support or enable this kind of business - one that treats paying and loyal local customers with utter disrespect. read more

needed to fax an important document to my husband's employer and kapa'a ship, print & storage came through for me. i walked into their office, handed over what i needed faxed and the nice lady behind the counter did everything else. it was about $4.50 to have it faxed, which is a little expensive in my opinion. however, i suppose they're offering a service that i couldn't just do at home..so.. will be back in the future if i'm in a pinch! read more

Very helpful, fast and great equipment. My home printer died and I needed documents printed ASAP for an important client presentation. I was in and out in less than 15 minutes and my documents looked totally professional. (Actually, even better than if I had printed on my own printer.) I also needed something scanned that same day and saved to PDF so I could email it to another client, and they did that in about 10 seconds. All this for only about $8! Excellent customer service. I needed to use their Internet and they charge $3 for 15 minutes. A bit high, but they were sooo nice inside. Everyone was laughing and happy and very friendly. They weren't all strict about the time on the computer either. It was more of an honor system (I didn't go over my time, and they were watching), but I have a feeling if I went over a couple minutes they wouldn't have nickel & dimed me.
