The doctor's office told him that they would contact him if the test were positive. They said "No news is good news." They never contacted him. Three years later another doctor was going through Lew's records and saw that the earlier test result had been positive. Dr. Bandari had "forgotten" to call. Lyme can be cured if it is treated right away, otherwise it can become chronic. Because of Dr. Bandari's negligence Lew did not receive proper treatment and now the Lyme is chronic.
