The zipline through paradise was the highlight of my weekend vacation in Big Island. We had the best staff that assist us with the ride who was Tiare, Sarah and Cat. They was very entertaining, friendly and attractive staff but don't let that fool you. They are in very good shape and tough gals. They held there own with a group that was plus size and they had no problems handling. Highly recommend to anyone. I took my 8 yr old daughter and she loved it, thanks to the staff. I will be going back someday for sure read more

This zipline was amazing! Killer long zips over beautiful waterfalls through the Hawaiian rainforest. The guides Mikey, Alex and Matt made the tour fun and interesting. Tell jokes and riddles along with stories of Hawaiian folklore and talked of the natural flora we saw. Overall an excellent trip. read more

We signed up for the ATVs&waterfall / BBQ / Ziplining tour and it was amazing! I came into it not expecting a whole lot but it wound up being one of my favorite parts of the whole trip. We had Vaa and Bert as our ATV guides and they were so friendly and made it so enjoyable. They talked with us and joined us in swimming in the waterfall and even provided a lot of advice for further activities for our trip. When ziplining we were with Tiffany, Ipo, and Pono. They were also fantastic. All were extremely friendly and Tiffany's joy and exuberance just made the entire trip so much more enjoyable and free spirited! I could not recommend it enough. read more

Had a wonderful time on the rip and zip today. Got super muddy on the razers but then washed it off in the beautiful waterfall swimming hole. The BBQ lunch was delicious and the zip lining was the most beautiful views I've seen. It was my first time zip lining and the guides were so patient with me. read more

The family had a great time Ziplining thru Paradise. The staff from check-in to line guides were awesome. I was a little uneasy about zipping for the first time, but the guides did everything to make sure everyone felt comfortable. I'm still not a fan of zipping, but the scenery and views were unbelievable. So glad I did it. The kids on the other hand are ready to do it again as soon as possible. We did the Maunakea Trails ATV adventure. John and Vaa lead our tour, and were great. Be prepared to get mud on you. You actually drive Rzr side-by-sides. They could provide better info on logistics for what to bring, etc. We didn't need to bring all that we did. It all was left in the transport van anyway. read more

It's my first time in the island and I really wanted to see the volcano. My friend was nervous about the drive so we decided to book a tour. I'm so glad we picked KapohoKine Adventures! Our tour guide, Phil Rizkalla, was awesome. He picked us up at our resort and off we went. Lunch at a coffee farm, bakery stop, turtles on the black sand beach and then to the volcano. We walked through a lava tube, saw the crater and steam vent and had a great dinner at the Volcano House. Phil kept us entertained throughout the tour and dropped us off right in front of our building. This tour is well-worth the money! I'm so glad we did this! read more

We did the evening volcano tour which is really misnamed because it's all day and more than just the volcano. While it was a long day, it was quite good (and I'm not a fan of these sort of packaged tours). The tour was great as an overview of the area and because of our guide Carl. He was truly fantastic! Incredibly knowledgeable, attentive, good sense of humor -- a total professional. The only problem was the food. Lunch sandwiches were awful with dried out white bread and processed cheese stuff. Dinner at the Volcano House is highly overrated. Our plates were cold and the chicken completely tasteless, filled with tendons. The fish was frozen fried like the fish sticks I used to eat as a kid. I understand that alcohol would be charged separately but not dessert. For $220 per person, we expected more in terms of quality food to put in our bodies. read more

The zip lining tour was awesome! Our guides were excellent and very friendly and professional. We had a group of 9 and by the 2nd line they knew all of our names! We did the zip lining and had a great time! It was our first time zip lining and the guides made it a great experience. Devin, Destiny, Jess, some trainees, and a few others whose names I don't remember were great! Everyone was funny and energetic, from the driver to the guides, and they kept things moving really well. The company as a whole seemed very well organized and professional. I felt very safe at all times. They also have a few nice picture sites while you're zipping and along one of the bridges, which you can purchase after. Highly recommend this company for zip lining! The guides are great and very safety-conscious. The zip lines seemed very sturdy and the double line and magnetic stopping really made a difference. Two gorgeous views of waterfalls during the ride. Some of the lines didn't have great views but were still fun! The only negative side to this place is the 30 minute ride to the lines and back was pretty rough. Otherwise it was a great experience! read more

We booked this tour in conjunction with a helicopter tour through NCL. Our first tour guide was Emma. She was sweet, very informative, and we thoroughly enjoyed her. She, unfortunately, had a personal emergency and was replaced by Mark as our tour guide.This guy was obnoxious to say the very least. He shared her personal information with us; which is unprofessional. Not to mention he was loud, talked over us, and when I would mention that Emma had told us about some things, he would respond very rudely, Well, I don't know WHAT Emma told you. We felt rushed with him and it was only 4 of us on the tour (myself, my husband, and an elderly couple). When we visited the rainforest & waterfall that we could "swim" up to, it was down a steep hill, The other lady in our group couldn't make it down. When going back to the truck, he walked in front of us, never mind the fact that the older couple was having difficulty walking on the rocky path. By the way, this tour should not encourage people to wear a swimsuit. You have a ton of large rocks to cross before you can get to the part where the waterfall is to swim. None of us swam. Had we had him initially, I would have given this tour one star. Note to the owner: If your people lack customer service and basic people skills, these tours will be rated low. read more

We had a blast at this zip line tour! The final zip line was the longest and by far the best. All the zip line guides were great and they made everyone feel comfortable with the adventure. OMG!! I was a bit nervous about zip-lining but it was an awesome experience from the moment we walked in the door. Jenna checked us in and was a sweetheart. She was very encouraging and made me feel less nervous about my decision to give it a try. Our tour driver Kanoe was wonderful. Kailoa, Anthony, Evan and Emily were very nice, friendly, helpful, encouraging, supportive and were very good at making sure we were safe. And the icing on the cake was this...I realized that I lost my Fitbit Flex somewhere between the 7th and 8th platforms. When Anthony heard me talking about it he told me he would look for it and put the word out so the others would keep an eye out for it too. Well about an hour and a half after we left, Anthony called my cell and said he found it!! I was shocked! We were staying at a resort 2 hours away so Anthony said he would mail it to my home. I called to get the names of everyone so I could mention each one in this review. Well when I mentioned Anthony finding my Fitbit I was asked to contact him and ask him to take it to the store and they would have it delivered to my resort so I could have it the next day!! That group of young men and women are awesome!! My hat's off to them!! read more

Zip line Adventure on 9/23/18. My husband and I went to the Big Island for a nice end of the summer vacation!! While there, we decided to be a little adventurous and zip line! We chose KapohoKine Adventures because of the beautiful pictures (that are even more amazing in real life), and the fact that there were a total of 8 long and wonderful lines to zip through the air on! I cannot describe in mere words to excitement, beauty, and FUN we had! This was one of the best experiences I have had. The Big Island is like no other. If you want to experience the true Hawaii experience in all its natural beauty, you need to visit the Big Island. KapohoKine Adventures works off of that exact facts displaying the true excellence of the Hawaii experience available as you fly through the air over beautiful waterfalls, wildlife, and the lush and greenery that the Big Island has to offer. No only was the zipping experience amazing, but the zip guides were just as wonderful! They made the experience that much more fun! From the staff down in the store who greeted us, to our van driver Tiffany, and our 3 amazing guides, Emily, Nanz, and David, we felt like family! Overall the zip line was a great adventure. However my wife was new to it and the young guides were immature in how they acted by purposely making the platforms shake which made my wife question the safety of it. Because of their actions she was unable to become comfortable doing it and opted out at the halfway point which in turn dampened it for me. Their focus should have been on reassuring beginners that safety was their priority instead of the bad jokes and childish behavior on the line. read more

We took the hike and glow tour from Hilo. The tour was as advertised and even better. Our guide, Kent, was outstanding. He choreographed a long day into a fact filled enjoyable experience. This was one of my favorite activities in Hawaii! Our tour guide Joey shared about the island as we drove to the ziplines. The ride is very bumpy so if you get car sick sit near the front. Once we arrived, the crew got us geared up. Ona and David were awesome! They made me feel relaxed and very safe. There are 8 lines in total. They start small and get bigger as you progress. They offer a lunch option, but I'd skip it and just stick with the snacks that they offer or pack your own if you get really hungry. We had such a great time!! read more

We did 4 zip lines, had a quick lunch break, and did the second 4. The final zip line is the longest at half a mile and is spectacular.
