Since it was a pre-op clearance, Mely performed an EKG with a portable device she could wheel into the examination room. Next Kylie, PA actually looked into my ears, mouth and felt my stomach which my doctor has never done. She went over my blood pressure, temperature and EKG readings and told me which meds to stop taking one week prior. She sent me down to the lab for blood and urine tests after. I was happy and impressed that both ladies were both kind, thorough and very pretty plus easy to talk to. I was told if I don't get a call, that's good news and I'm cleared for surgery.

Receptionists were patient and explained all the paperwork needed. I was screened by Mille, who was very professional and friendly. She asked about my symptoms and explained the test she would perform. I returned 40 min later as instructed for the test results. Dr. Gomez then spoke to me about my test results and my choices for medication or wait to see if I get better with the over the counter medications I was already taking. She was very kind, professional, and ensured my lungs were clear of congestion. She spoke in detail about my tests and ensured I didn't have any questions. she wrote a note for me to give to my employer as I would be out sick for 5 days. I appreciate her thinking about that as I may have forgotten to ask as I had a terrible headache. thank you to Dr Gomez, the nurse Dawn, and Mille for my care today what a wonderful team. also the waiting room was large enough so people were not in close proximity to each other. there were masks available and plenty of kleenex and hand sanitizer.

My eldest nephew was diagnosed with autism so naturally, my sister was hoping to see if her other child was eligible to get tested. Dr. Ninomiya, despite my eldest nephew's diagnosis and my sister's background in ABA (applied behavior analysis) and work with autistic children, claimed that my nephews' behaviors MUST be due to "POOR PARENTING" and NOT autism then proceeded to ignore her concerns and reasonings to then mansplain what autism is KNOWING that autism is the center of her career. He didn't care for her explanations and insisted that she needed to "make her kids cry" when reprimanding. If you know my sister, you'd know she is an AMAZING mom and this kind of behavior from a DOCTOR is completely unacceptable. If he didn't think my other nephew needed to be tested, he could've just said that. My nephews will be going to another doctor from now on and when my child is born, we definitely won't be going to him either.
