Every client is unique, she recognizes this and asks questions that are specific to your diet and well being. This type of experience is rare these days, personalized service makes all the difference. I did 3 sessions and felt so much healthier after each session. She has also coached me on my diet to reduce dairy and increase antioxidants. Foods that I may have dismissed before are now in my fridge because of Christina. I wasn't nervous or anything, just cause I kinda knew what to expect from the whole colonic experience. I got to the office, met Christina and needless to say, she was a delight. Very gentle, professional and full of knowledge. She made me feel comfortable from beginning to end. The place is great! It's super clean, smells AMAZING!!! They have some of the best candles I've ever smelled. A+++ for atmosphere and cleanliness. Throughout the entire procedure, Christina explained it all. She took her time with me and asked how I was feeling to make sure all was good. I was pleasantly surprised at how well I did, considering the last colonic I had AT A DIFFERENT PLACE, didn't provide the same results. The results I had with Christina for the 1st time, was what I had at the other place on my 3rd-4th colonic. Needless to say, it can only get better! :) After my session was over, Christina wrote down a list of things to get that would help me go more often and would be an overall health benefit. I waited at least 6 months to get this appointment and Tina, Receptionist, was well aware of the circumstances. On the morning of the appointment, only 2 hours before our slotted time, Tina called to cancel and stated the Dr. "has to leave early for an emergency". Now, I wasn't happy but realize emergencies happen and asked to be seen by someone else in the office OR get in earlier before the Dr. left ... really anything to accommodate the Dr. note: I was changing Doctor's so my Aunt could be closer as she does not do well travelling any distance. Her prescriptions were expiring and it is critical that we were seen by a Dr to renew the scrips. Tina stated there was nothing they could do and I could not get in at all that day. I reiterated that I was flying back across country the next morning and could not come later that week. At this point, Tina became rude and essentially stated "there's nothing we can do for you and I'm ending this conversation". I am still in disbelief I was treated this way and this office jeopardizing the medical care of an elderly woman. This is absolutely unacceptable and egregious. I would stay far, far away as I would question the level of care and responsibility for any provider that would think this is acceptable. I am reporting to the Better Business Bureau.

Her attitude was condescending and intolerant when I asked her to answer questions that I had. For a pediatrician's office, more care should be placed in making the office welcoming to children (age appropriate colors, toys, etc). Doctors should take time to introduce themselves to the children. It is a simple request to have doctors patiently and kindly answer parents' questions. I have never felt so unwelcome at a medical professional's office before. Answering simple questions is part of standard professional practice.

From general health, to age related questions as I get older, a little dabbling in some short term depression, and so much more; Chris has been great to work with over the last... maybe 10 years? He's approachable, knowledgeable, willing to get you in and out if you are in a rush, or sit for 30 extra minutes if you have some real concerns or things you need to understand better. The front of house is nice too. All in all, I continue to come because of Chris, although he is a PA, my interactions with him have been better than any doctors I have worked with in the past. Also, I have always been seen in a reasonable amount of time. Both in scheduling and upon arrival to the office. Would recommend.

That's when my friend Laura told me about her doctor, and said he was accepting new patients. I would have taken anyone at that point, honestly. But she raved about him, and I gladly filled out the paperwork and waited for my first appointment. Admittedly, it took them a while to get me in for my physical. The physical is the necessary first appointment before seeing the doctor for anything else. Now I can get appointments the same day, when necessary. Usually I can get in within a few days. Dr Beney himself is very personable and listens very well to what you say. I have never felt rushed when I've been in to see him. He specializes in pediatric and internal medicine. I love how sometimes I am put in a room with an exam table that looks like a school bus or fire truck. Usually I request to see one of Dr Beney's PA's. Chad is my favorite. He's the one I go to for my annual physical, asthma questions, and anything else that is non-emergency. For the more urgent needs, I'll see whoever can take me first. The staff is really friendly. They've always been extremely helpful, too, whether in person or on the phone. One of the great things about this office if you have kids is that they have this really cool game in the lobby. It reminds me of the movie Big with Tom Hanks. Remember that scene where he's at the massive toy store and plays piano by jumping on the keys? Well this is the same concept, only it's not a piano. Using a separate machine, kids start a game that illuminates the floor. They have to jump into squares or grids. I don't think I've ever watched a kid play long enough to understand the goal, but the kids all seem to know instinctively how to play it. Dr Beney is currently accepting new patients, and although he's in Lockport, it's still a fairly short drive for me from East Amherst. Tip: His last name is pronounced like 'Beanie.'
