Any doctor I've interacted with has been great both for their interpersonal skill and their medical. The last objection I have is their phone menu changing at 5:30 to say that the office is closed when the website says they are open till 6pm. It's bad enough to close the phones early but the droning annoying loud mans goes on and on about how great they are without giving any real information on leaving a message which I wanted to do. I pressed Zero and what a mistake that was, it just started the mans annoying too long message to start over. I'm sure whatever management reviewed that message on the office is closed message either didn't listen to all of because they were in a hurry or they enjoy having their ego stroked. It doesn't matter what the message says if it is too long and too loud done by a well spoken person it has no immediate option to leave a message or any option but to sit and suffer being subjected to a non-functional drone on how great TP is. I have long disliked the phone menu sound and length of the message here but the last straw is calling when office is supposed to be open and then being unable to accomplish anything constructive. I will bet that any business that specializes in professional construction of the public face in that field would find plenty wrong and would coach that speaker to do many things differently with the actual menu. Not open during the published hours mm Having an annoying voice on the message. Having a barely functioning menu with no option that is easy to navigate Erratic front desk attitude. Great doctors and nurses/PA's. All this makes a "3 out of 5" score.

Dr Sue(my kids call her Dr Seuss lol), really loves children and parents and she trusts parental instinct. We have been with her since she started her practice, when I was pregnant with my baby in 2017. Whenever I have a worry or concern, they are always there and answer immediately to any concerns. The minimal feee every month is so worth it just for the peace of mind of having a Dr on call. It has taken course to get other drs to call back while I wait with a sick baby or I literally have to go to er while waiting for other drs to call back. Not at purely Peds. They are absolutely hands down the best!!!

Our other Doctors office was rude, and hurtful, especially to a new mom trying to navigate this new world in the middle of a pandemic. They were rude, pushy, and didn't really explain anything very well. When a friend suggested Purely Peds to me, we jumped on the chance to get out of that nightmare! But never in a million years did I think we would find a place so caring and compassionate. You can tell that these people went into business because they LOVE what they do- They recently switched to a bigger and beautiful building. The drive is pretty far but oh, so worth it! We never leave the office crying or feeling like we're bad parents- they explain everything very in-depth and detailed. They have the time and patience to listen and help with ANY concern you may have- and never make you feel like your dumb or a burden for asking! They have a very fair price to make this private office so affordable- haha babies are expensive. But I can't explain how grateful and happy I am, knowing that Naomi is in such great hands! She is the most important thing in our lives so she gets the best- I wouldn't have it any other way. Has your child's doctor ever made you cry? Or feel unimportant or over worried? Like she's just another number? Like they're just working for the health insurances agenda? Have you ever been ignored, brushed off, or even shamed... If you made it this far, you NEED to make the switch! You will all be so much happier when appointment day rolls around

When we were late for our first few appointments (we were new parents, had little sleep, and were getting used to the idea that it takes an hour to get out of the house) they didn't make us feel bad, or feel that we were wasting their time- they were understanding. I had a lot of trouble breastfeeding, but they were supportive. I broke down several times in their office, crying hysterically, and the nursing staff were all kind and supportive, giving me words of encouragement. The doctors are very down to earth, and just care that your baby is doing well- doesn't matter how fast or slow they are progressing, and they don't make you panicked, telling you what your baby should or should not be doing at any point. They just tell you how great you're doing/how great your kid is doing- they are very encouraging. The BEST thing about them is they will NOT take you if you refuse to vaccinate your child! Otherwise, they will take any insurance, etc- they just want to make sure the children that go to their office are safe. I cannot say what a relief that was to see that policy. Also, they have a 'sick' and 'healthy' section of the waiting room, so no germs are crossed over- same for the rooms. The whole office is separated in two- with the right side for the sick, and the left side for the healthy. I just adore these doctors.

However the real issue is the "professionals" and their vaccine policy that they try to push and push even after you refuse and are told you can refuse without repercussions but in the end there are repercussions, very real and very scary repercussions that left myself my wife and most importantly our daughter without a pediatrician because we were told we are not welcome there if we didn't follow their vaccine regimen, again after being told there wouldn't be consequences leaving us with false hope that maybe these people actually did care about children but don't be fooled like we were, they do not. All they care about is vaccines being pumped into tiny human beings that weigh less than a sack of potatoes and that's it, they didn't care that our daughter had an ear infection and had a UTI at the same time, they didn't care that she was sick, they didn't care that she wasn't gaining weight, in the end all they cared about was getting what I can only assume was some kind of compensation for vaccinating another 8lb newborn. In the end after questioning their mortality we were told to leave and we were not welcomed there, they didn't give us an alternative, we were left with a sick child that we had to take to urgent care instead. Everyone who works for these immunization facilities needs to reflect on the real reason they are in the profession of pediatric care, it shouldn't be to push narratives it should be to help sick children. Thank almighty god that not everyone thinks like them though and there are facilities out there that will care for a sick child no matter what.

From general health, to age related questions as I get older, a little dabbling in some short term depression, and so much more; Chris has been great to work with over the last... maybe 10 years? He's approachable, knowledgeable, willing to get you in and out if you are in a rush, or sit for 30 extra minutes if you have some real concerns or things you need to understand better. The front of house is nice too. All in all, I continue to come because of Chris, although he is a PA, my interactions with him have been better than any doctors I have worked with in the past. Also, I have always been seen in a reasonable amount of time. Both in scheduling and upon arrival to the office. Would recommend.

That's when my friend Laura told me about her doctor, and said he was accepting new patients. I would have taken anyone at that point, honestly. But she raved about him, and I gladly filled out the paperwork and waited for my first appointment. Admittedly, it took them a while to get me in for my physical. The physical is the necessary first appointment before seeing the doctor for anything else. Now I can get appointments the same day, when necessary. Usually I can get in within a few days. Dr Beney himself is very personable and listens very well to what you say. I have never felt rushed when I've been in to see him. He specializes in pediatric and internal medicine. I love how sometimes I am put in a room with an exam table that looks like a school bus or fire truck. Usually I request to see one of Dr Beney's PA's. Chad is my favorite. He's the one I go to for my annual physical, asthma questions, and anything else that is non-emergency. For the more urgent needs, I'll see whoever can take me first. The staff is really friendly. They've always been extremely helpful, too, whether in person or on the phone. One of the great things about this office if you have kids is that they have this really cool game in the lobby. It reminds me of the movie Big with Tom Hanks. Remember that scene where he's at the massive toy store and plays piano by jumping on the keys? Well this is the same concept, only it's not a piano. Using a separate machine, kids start a game that illuminates the floor. They have to jump into squares or grids. I don't think I've ever watched a kid play long enough to understand the goal, but the kids all seem to know instinctively how to play it. Dr Beney is currently accepting new patients, and although he's in Lockport, it's still a fairly short drive for me from East Amherst. Tip: His last name is pronounced like 'Beanie.'
