He kept much of the same staff I've come to know and be comfortable with. I am the daughter of a now-retired dentist, so my expectations are high. Dr. Russell is attentive yet gentle. Gone are the days of "old-school" dentists that just "get-in-there." These days, dentists are a bit more gentle and less aggressive. Add to that the light touch of Dr. Russell, and it's fairly pleasant experience, for going to the dentist. Their equipment is up-to-date as are their techniques. I get a bit stressed when I visit any kind of doctor (white-coat syndrome) but the staff is accommodating to my needs to calm myself down. (headphones, tactile comforts, etc.). It's always scary to change your dentist, but I'm very happy with Dr Russell and love that fact that he's younger than I am and will therefor be my dentist for the next few decades.
