It was amazing working with Elena and Elka Interiors. I found the company thru a community FB…read moregroup reccomendation. I reached out to her back in November, she came out the next day to to give us a quote on our bathroom remodel. She made the entire process so easy. She ordered EVERYTHING for us, complete gut job, removing drywall and replacing everything in our bathroom. The entire remodel took 2 weeks. Elena was so easy to work with and even though I was nervous (you never know what you will find when you open up walls) she assured me, regardless what we find, we can fix it. The workers were great, they worked a full day and we could see the quality and value of their work. I am extremely grateful and so happy with our new bathroom. I would absolutely recommend Elka Interiors and Elena. Thank you for our beautiful bathroom.

Are you kidding me? Only five stars ? Can I give this company 10 stars ??…read more So here is my reason for my 10 star review. We started off with a little farmhouse about 1700 ft.². It had 3 bedrooms and about five different living Spaces. It was old & beat up but the land was about an acre and a half. We turn this little dump into a jewel of Bonita. Huge open layout , 1500 square feet of deck , indoor outdoor living , a kitchen to die for , bathrooms so cozy you'd want to sleep in . With the guidance, vision and help of Elena our designer this became the house of our dreams. Unfortunately it also became the house of someone else's dreams as soon as we were done ! Soon enough , even though we got an offer we couldn't refuse ! A huge pay day ! This little project home because of Elka interiors became a huge profiting flip of a home which was our steppingstone to bigger and better things to come. Not only did you make this experience and easy and amazing one but you made it a profitable one !!! Thanks for all of you insight and patience !

Eco stepped in, got the project back on track, and communicated clearly with us every step of the way. We are absolutely delighted with the final result: a beautiful playroom that our daughter can enjoy for years to come. We would definitely recommend Eco Home Builders to anyone considering a home renovation. I'd like to also call out Eco team members Kayleen and Eyal who were amazing to work with!

He walked into the bathrooms I wanted renovated and asked at least 50 questions. We met again at the Kearny Mesa offices and again went over what I wanted and quality and types of fixtures and finishes I wanted. The next day I received a quotation, which included the total and payment schedule for the work I wanted. Eco was one of 4 total builders I had quote on the job. They sat exactly in the middle, but were the only ones to have a payment schedule after certain work was completed. The others wanted 1/2 up from and then the balance on the close. I felt like if at any point that work that was completed was incomplete, I would have some way of working with them to get it done completely and correctly. Besides Ben that were 3 other team members that coordinated my job. The first was Izabella, the designer and sourcer. Again after a few visits and email exchanges we settled on a design and began the purchase process. After all the materials were acquired, I met with Enrique the daily foreman and Derrick the project manager. The work is now complete and I am very happy. I don't have any real caveats, however, my home was build in 1968 and nothing was standard and a few surprises. Enrique and Izabella just looked for ways to solve issues as they popped up. I have two more possible renovations in the future and will call Eco Home Builders first.

You can put your complete trust that they will stage your house to perfection so that it will look great for the photos and the tours!! I have hired 1st Stage for multiple properties over the years. In the past, they generally did…read moregreat work and I was impressed with their staging style, professionalism, availability, and pricing. That said, my most recent experience was disappointing. I had them stage a modern townhouse in Costa Mesa near the beach. Unfortunately, the staging style they chose did not match the aesthetic of the property at all. I am not a designer, so I typically trust their vision and let them take the lead. This time, I reached out to their team and simply asked if we could swap out a few items to make the space feel more modern or beachy. I was told I would need to pay a restocking fee. That response was frustrating. I had referred them many jobs and clients in the past, and while the fee itself was not a large amount, it felt unnecessary and left a bad impression. They did eventually waive the fee, which I appreciated, but the situation already felt mishandled. Fast forward a bit. The property did not sell, and I requested that it be de-staged. Their team came out a few days later and removed the furniture. A few months after that, they emailed both me and my client, who was the actual party to the staging contract, claiming there was a prorated balance due for a few extra days the furniture remained in the home. The amount was under $400. The contract was between my client and 1st Stage, not me, so I was confused as to why I was included. Shortly after, Mark Sutton emailed me directly asking if I could take care of the payment by the next day. I found that extremely unprofessional. Agents are the ones who bring them business, and asking me to personally pay an invoice that had nothing to do with me showed a real lack of business judgment. I expressed my disappointment with their customer service, and the only response I received was a payment link. If you are looking for a stager who truly feels like a partner and values long-term relationships, I would think twice before using this company. In my experience, once an issue arises, you are treated like just another number, and preserving relationships does not seem to be a priority.
