These semi permanent ombré brows have given me so much self confidence and courage to take photos! I was someone who was extremely insecure about taking selfies or group photos unless my brows were filled in because my brows were hardly visible. I knew I wanted semi permanent brows, but was conflicted between micro blading and ombré brows. It took me nearly a year to decide who I wanted to go with, but when I saw Karlie's work on her instagram I fell in love with how my brows could turn out. I contacted her and was scheduled for an appointment within a month. Karlie is very responsive, accommodating when scheduling, and her attention to detail is great. During the consultation don't be afraid to ask questions or style your brows how you want it. I also showed her some previous photos of how I would typically draw in my brows as I wanted a similar style. Personally I chose to go with a lighter shade during my initial appointment because you can always go darker during the touch up but you can't go lighter until it fades... but that takes a while. Karlie is THE BEST! Well ok it took me years to finally pull the trigger to get my brows done and my sister got hers done by Karlie a year before I got mine done. I was amazed by how beautiful it was. It was my first time ever doing anything to my brows and now the only regret I have is not doing it sooner. Karlie is so sweet, patient, and creative. She really makes you feel comfortable during your appointment. The only pain I felt which was a (1 out of 10 type of pain) was when she started the outline of the shape of my brows. Words to live by during this procedure: TRUST THE PROCESS!! I've been contemplating on getting this done for awhile now and I am so glad I finally chose to go through with it especially with Karlie!! I have a coworker who actually got work done by her previously so she led me to karlie and it was such a great experience! THANK YOU KARLIE! Karlie saved my brows. Earlier this year I got my brows microshaded by another person and it was a mistake. That healing process was seriously disastrous and embarrassing because it turned out way more red (the lady said the red was to cancel out the gray but it was super red during the healing process) and dark when it scabbed, and when it finished healing, the pigment mostly disappeared. Luckily I found Karlie and loved her work so I hoped she could correct my brows. Having done microshading a few months prior, I got ombre and I feel like my skin was pretty sensitive the second time around as I was bleeding a lot (might be bc I had a sip of caffeine earlier too) but the pain was bearable. This review is veeeery long over due! I was one of Karlie's first few clients and I knew right away I wanted to go to her after seeing how well she did on her models! The very first session took 2-2.5 hours and the initial touch up (6-8 weeks) took around 1 hour or less. On the first session, Karlie made me feel super comfortable and her suite was clean! Nothing feels worse then getting work done and the environment is just messy and unsanitary. We were talking the whole time and the session honestly went by super quick! Karlie will talk to you step by step on what she's doing and why she's doing it. When it comes to pain, I honestly didn't know I wasn't suppose to feel anything so I didn't say anything. Karlie did put numbing cream but I thought it was only suppose to numb a teeny bit so when she noticed I was tearing up a lot, she asked if it hurt & I told her it did but I was okay. Services: Ombre eyebrow (first time client) + 6 week touch-up If you want to save 5 minutes off your morning routine, wake up with perfect brows every morning, and have eyebrows on fleek even when you're all sweaty at the gym... Then make your appointment today. I drove from LA (twice) for this girl's perfect work. She started with shaping my eyebrows with a measuring tool, and allowed me to look in the mirror to be sure I was comfortable with the outline, then she began the tattoo process. Our first session took 2.5 hours. Our touch up session took less than an hour. Karlie used a topical analgesic prior to the session, and continually applied numbing cream as she switched between each brow. Karlie is the BEST! When I initially decided I wanted to have my brows done I had an engagement shoot coming up. Even though Karlie was booked out for the next few months she was kind enough to accommodate me early. Her response time is great.
