I had a very disappointing experience with an eyebrow wax and henna tinting service performed by Emma. I clearly requested light brown, natural-looking brows to match my hair color, and Emma assured me that's exactly what she would do. Unfortunately, the results were the opposite -- my brows were tinted jet black, nothing close to what I asked for. When I expressed my concern, Emma's explanation was that my skin was dry and absorbed the dye, which I did not find to be an acceptable or professional response. To make matters worse, the waxing left my face severely red with small sores that are still present more than 24 hours later with no improvement. I paid $95.00 for a service that did not deliver what was promised and has left me with visible skin damage. This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had anywhere. Save yourself the embarrassment and pain and don't go here! This is in response to Emma's comments Your comments are fabricated. You did try to lighten it but it clearly didn't work. I was obviously upset. You instructed me to go home and use shampoo on my brows to try and lighten them. I feel like my review was honest and fair. I didn't mention how you texted me the morning of to change the time of my appointment 30 minutes later. Or how you asked me "If i'd ever come back." I love this place. I've been coming here for about 2 to 3 years now. They do such a great job. I always get compliments after doing my eyelashes. Parking - there's a big lot but parking is hard because there's a lot of businesses. Decor/ ambiance - clean and pretty. Love all the white walls and minimal modern/ rustic decor. It's very calm in the room. They play soft music. Service - I love Vicky! She's my girl. She's so nice and good at what she does. I get my eyelashes done here for the last 2 to 3 years. I do have sensitive eyes after my lasik/prk surgery so she always makes sure to put the fan on once she is done to make sure everything is dried. She always asks me how I like it at the end. Love that she asks me for my opinion/feedback. There are times I need to leave early so she also accommodates for that too. She's quick when she needs to be but when I'm not in a rush she does what she needs to do. I used to get hybrid style but recently changed to classic because I want the more natural look. Booked a same day appointment with Emma and I wasn't disappointed. Happy with how my lashes turned out! I wish I could have more volume but my lashes are thin and straight. I got my lashes done at Kim lash in Scripps but liked my lashes better at Glorious Lash and Brow. And they are having a special for the after care kit which is valued at $30 for a Yelp review. I wish my lashes could tolerate extensions for a long period of time but mine only lasted a week. I might be back though! Paid by card. Glorious Lash & Brow is located in a plaza next to an acupuncture office and offers plaza parking. Everyone is so nice here and very skilled. I've been to Emma and Miley here but I usually like to go to Emma. I haven't had any issues with infections or irritation here since all the ladies clean the stations well and clean their hands before applying lashes. I've been getting my eyelashes done for probably 6+ years now and I'm picky with how I like them done. I've been coming to Glorious Lash for a little more than a year now and I wouldn't go anywhere else in this area. I usually get the natural, classic look, B curl, 9 mm for a really natural look. Maybe around the holidays I'll go for 10 or 11mm. I would definitely recommend this place and wouldn't go anywhere else. read more

Got a lash lift for the first time and i had a relatively nice experience here. Couple things that come to mind: 1. I was new to lash lifts and i had informed my lash tech of this. I would have liked it if she had talked me through each step and what she was doing since im new and i didnt know what to feel/expect. 2. I loved my lashes afterwards! I don't remember how long they lasted but they looked really pretty for awhile. 3. The ends of my lashes are still curved in this awkward "L" shape so it has been a little annoying since obviously they wont straighten out after treatment. I think the lash tech that i went to may have rushed mine or maybe this is normal but it has been annoying to deal with. Overall, i liked my lash lift. It was around $120 i think, honestly i forgot. Due to my lashes being all weirdly curved now i dont know if i would get them done here again. read more

UPDATE: I appreciate the response from the owner regarding the yelp check in offer, but I was not informed of that when I tried to redeem it in person. All I was told was to write a Yelp review in order to get the lash kit. So it was confusing to me. I felt pressured to write a review so here it is. As for the 60 lashes, the owner was not right next to me or the lash artist to witness her applying it on my eyes. How can she know for sure? The two stars were for the easy parking, cute interior, and cleanliness of the facility, but there is definitely room for improvement. The full set of 60 classic I purchased was nowhere near 60 lashes per eye and it took longer than 60 minutes as stated. I've gotten classic lashes before and they were nice and full. My lash artist took so long and I think she gave me half of the amount of lashes than what was advertised. False advertising if you ask me. I feel duped. I am so displeased because I read all the great Yelp reviews and the pictures looked great. Unfortunately, they seemed to cater to certain customers as I did not feel welcomed. My lash artist, Vicky seemed nice at first, but I could tell she was a novice. She took longer than expected and the quality was just not up to par compared to what I'm used to getting from other lash businesses. I guess you get what you pay for. I also saw the work she did for other clients and they looked great, but mine did not compare to theirs. So questionable. I hate to put down a business, but I just felt unwanted and I honestly did not like the feeling I got walking out of there. I received a response within minutes (on a Sunday). Emma was extremely professional and efficient when coordinating my appointment. I was immediately at ease. The establishment was cute and extremely clean. The staff was friendly and the menu of services and paperwork was easy to understand and not overwhelming for first time guests. Emma was my tech and gave me a full set - hybrid. She is very talented and extremely detailed. She cleaned my lashes and was very gentle and precise during application. I couldn't be happier with the result. I've been getting eyelash extensions for years and because I travel often & frequent various providers .. I can spot the difference in professionalism instantly. In a time of a pandemic, most small businesses will try to upsell you, that was not the case here. I thought I wanted something more which was also more in cost and Emma explained why that wasn't needed and .. she was right and she totally exceeded my expectations. I've gotten lash lifts for a while now and I just moved to the area so I was looking forward to trying Glorious Lash & Brow. I love how my left eye turned but my right eye looks messy. From start to finish it took ~30 minutes and I would've appreciated it if my stylist took an extra few minutes to ensure that the amount of care that went into my left eyelashes was reciprocated on the right side. I've been a client of Miley's for almost 2 years. I get the Classic Unlimited every 2 weeks. However, I've gone 3 weeks several times and probably could get away with going 3 weeks in between as they hold up nicely.
