A scheme to fleece patients into paying a fee REGARDLESS of the type of insurance you have. We have awesome insurance that covers everything. So my insurance will pay the practice top dollar and receive this fee for what? For doing what they are supposed to do. We will be happily leaving to find a descent practitioner of medicine that wont see us as dollar signs but rather human beings. Best of luck to everyone.

How disgusting is this that they are doing this and basically dumping all their patients that have been there for over 15 years. They should have just said they were closing their offices and only taking on patients who can pay the concierge services. They are not a high end doctors office nor is the office appearance upscale. This is outrageous they are pushing the low or middle class out. Oh and also their solution if you can't get in for an appointment is to go to a medical express walk in. When our family member came out of the hospital, Dr. Li went through the notes and the medication list in great detail. She questioned various changes to the medications. She followed up with other physicians. She even gave me her cell phone. When I had questions, I texted her - and she quickly responded. As a result, I ended up changing my own primary care physician to Dr. Li. My experiences were again just just as amazing. In one case, she had prescribed antibiotics to me. I lost the medication partway through, and I texted her on a weekend. She quickly got back to me and had a replacement prescription phoned in to the pharmacy. I was so apologetic to bother her on the weekend, but she was so kind and helpful. Now, what really makes her practice stand out, on top of this, is her friendly and caring staff. I never feel as though I am treated as just another number. Her staff is just as kind, caring and friendly. Regarding wait times - you often find doctors who grossly overbook patients and you wait for hours. I have not experienced that here. Today, I needed an emergency appointment (Memorial Day weekend). They squeezed me in. There's a wait - but one would fully understand.

However, getting in to see him can be a bit difficult. Wait times vary, as he can range from being on time to over an hour late as he also works at two hospitals. He also only has weekend hours once a month, so if you need to see a doctor on a Saturday or Sunday, you'll either need to go to Urgent Care or to the ER. His staff also can be iffy, but that's changed recently. They are much better now. Overall though he does a great job and his bedside manner is actually some of the best I've had from any family doctors I've seen.

If it is urgent he will get you in same day. Nurse Carol is a real doll too. If your sick she will instantly make you feel better and if your just there for a check up shes always up for a nice chat. Also, they will take your blood here, when I go for physical each year they take care of me there. I hate going to the lab, the whole getting up early to fight the crowd and I am quite the fainter, I have to lay down and look away. Dr. Lau does a great job without busting my chops for being a baby. If you are new to the area I highly suggest Ronny Lau be your new family general practice physician.

I've been sick twice now and both times I was blown off and told if I'm not feeling better in a week and they have an appointment they will see me. A week? Or I can always go to an urgent care. Luckily there was no one else in the office so that was a plus. I will mention he, Werthaim, said for me to see my primary doctor (FYI I don't actually have a primary doctor) or see a dermatologist. Whatever, but that's not what upset me. He recommended some blood tests and at this point I reminded him that I have a phobia of blood tests as a result of a poisoned appendix when I was a child. I would have liked a cream or something. He then starting posturing to me that he has 35 years of experience and that if I was going to question him that he other patients to take care of. I've been going here for a couple months now. I'm not impressed with how impersonal it is. Changed OBGYN's after moving to NJ. Coming from an office with one doctor to Brunswick Hills where there's 8, is not comforting. I have no idea if I will get to meet all 8 doctors before I give birth or if I will remember them on the day of. I called with a billing & blood resultsquestion once & didn't get a call back for two weeks. For this reason I turn to a family member in the medical field when I have a question or concern about my pregnancy instead of calling the office. I wonder how familiar these doctors are with patients after only meeting for a few minutes maybe once ever? The staff seems friendly enough. Wait times haven't been long at all - a plus.
