Karya means wish or act. Siddhi means realizing. Karya Siddhi Hanuman is one who fulfills your wishes. The temple is huge and its no wonder as there are lot of Indians around in Dallas. Carved from a single stone of Marakata, the Karya Siddhi Hanuman moorthy is the only one of its kind outside of India. Pros: ------- Amazing Architecture Huge Temple consisting of different Hindu Gods Ample Free Parking Cafeteria Yoga center All Hindu rituals performed Store to purchase devotional stuff Well Maintained Covid Restrictions Various Devotional , art and other religious classes for kids Cons: ------- None to me Saturday's are by appointment only due to huge rush. Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday are walk-ins

A beautiful temple in the area with brilliant architecture and beautiful ambience. The temple has really powerful vibes and fulfill the prayers. The only thing which i think could be better is with the parking lots and the entry and exit of the temple! They have a cafe which serves yum delicious food. The food can be purchased at an affordable price. Tried most of the stuffs and the food is brilliant for the price. No bargain on the quantity or quality of the food I promise. A definitely a must visit temple if you're in the area/town!

Mango lassi & mirchi baji

Beautiful temple! Reminds me of a mini version of BAPS in chino hills, CA. The inside has AC and is very spacious and clean. The food is really yummy and super affordable. Mango lassi: yummy lassi. I just wish it were slightly colder. Mirchi baji: fried pepper. Not spicy at all. The batter has spices in it too so it's very flavorful. The red sauce is sweet and spicy. The green sauce is refreshing with cilantro and coconut.

Gorgeous temple building with traditional Indian architecture

This is one of the most beautiful Hindu temple buildings in the Dallas area. The traditional Indian architecture makes it stand out. Inside the premises are well maintained. The priests are cordial and seem knowledgeable. The space is large and offers a spiritual experience. There is also a small breakfast-lunch kitchen in the adjacent building which offers mostly South Indian delicacies.

Its very intimidating to explore other cultures because you know nothing about it. The fear that you will dress inappropriately, overstep boundaries, say the wrong thing or disrespect something very sacred keeps you from going. I have to admit, our anxiety was over the top but we sincerely wanted to learn, so we pushed through the anxiety and went to this event. The temple itself is a beautiful masterpiece no matter what part you visit. The energy is positive, healthy and peaceful. From the moment we walked up, they were welcoming and kind to us, and for that reason that made this an amazing experience!! Many different people throughout the evening was happy to tell us where to go, what was going on, how to participate, what was appropriate and respectful. We learned the meaning behind the Navratri celebration, as well as the deities in the shrine, the rituals, food, traditional dresses, and cultural dances. One volunteer stayed with us the whole time, beaming with pride, so excited to share her culture with us. We are very grateful for her time. The opportunity to be invited in and encouraged to return was humbling. We plan to go back and enjoy more events.

However, the exterior does feel a little lackluster compared to some of the other big temples. The temple can get busy in the evenings, weekends and on special religious occasions but never have I felt rushed to complete my visit (which has happened to me in temples elsewhere). There is a main hall, which houses most of the deities, and an area with chairs towards the back for the elderly (who find it difficult to sit down). I can say without a doubt that you can go in there and connect with the Lord without being disturbed. There is a also another small section of the building (a smaller room of sorts) that has a few more deities, so do not forget to visit that area before leaving. You can check out the temple calendar for the different poojas and events. Plus, at the entrance of the temple you can ask for a special prayer to be done (at the temple or outside). I am happy to have found this temple so close to where I live.
