A simple spot where you order at the counter before sitting down. The restaurant itself is very…read moreplain, but the service stood out the lady at the register was very sweet. The food was decent. The tuna melt was a bit different, coming with mushrooms, which gave it an unexpected twist. The chipotle chicken wrap felt like a mix between a wrap and a burrito (minus the beans), which made it filling but slightly unusual. The side of fries was a highlight crispy and well done. Drinks are self-serve, which fits the casual setup. Overall, it's a basic place with friendly service and a few interesting menu twists, though the food itself didn't quite stand out.

I ordered the food through DoorDash and my husband tried to pick it up for us but they wouldn't give it to him. A little frustrating because he said my name and what we got. So I had to leave and come pick up the meal. I got the veggie sandwich which was a pretty basic sandwich. My husband got the combo platter with chicken and lamb. We both ate it faster than I could take pictures. It's good to see this place grow, add more options. Parking is a little chaotic since it's a shared lot with a handful of other businesses. Being so close to the border, there's a lot foot traffic so watch out for pedestrians crossing roads. This space had plenty of seating and seemed extra spacious. Lots of tables of different sizes.

The matcha they had was good and they have different milk options They also give you free water bottles. I got the avocado toast with no egg and no ham and no sauce and it made me full in a good way . Would come back again to this cafe in TJ.

Cafè de La Flor is an infallible spot for good food, decadent desserts, and outstanding service…read more My mom and I came here for lunch and ordered passionfruit-lemonade to start off, which was refreshing and tasty. She had the flautas dish (came with red rice and refried beans) and I had the panini de pechuga de pollo (grilled chicken breast) with french fries. Both dishes were delicious and came with generous portions. I liked how my panini sandwich came with pickled jalapeños. The dessert list is ample, however, we always go for the cheesecakes since they are what the cafè is well-known for. This time, there wasn't many to choose from but I am happy they still had my favorite available - the guava cheesecake. On other occassions, they'd have a more ample selection of cheesecake flavors to choose from, like oreo, caramel, or other fruit flavors. Lastly, want to give a shout out to our server Juan Carlos. Very attentive, quick, and polite. Everyone was courteous and provided an excellent customer experience.
