This spot is really clean and has the social distance within the restaurant. The prices where really good and the quality of the sushi was amazing.

Pretty much everything we tried tasted very well (we'll definitely be back). Great fried rice. Well, that goes for all the rest. The cost was economical/reasonable (lunch specials 11am-5pm), sushi, soups. Nice ambient. Not crowded (Saturday 5:30pm).

Nice place! Good service, although there weren't many people that night. I like the food; it was good, not great, but good! Its a new place in a "food court center" that is nearly empty, but it has potential to get better. I ate the crab rangoons, the alaska roll and the spicy tuna roll.

    Order sushi.

My parents had eaten here before and said it was really good, so we were excited to see if it lived up to the hype. The restaurant had a lively, bustling atmosphere, with a steady stream of customers dining in and picking up takeout orders. Even though it was busy, the staff kept things moving efficiently. Even for a large order, the wait was only about 30 minutes. They have a separate pickup area for to-go orders, which made the process organized and easy despite how busy they were. We ordered the beef fried rice, house fried rice, churrasco steak, house lo mein, sesame beef, jumbo shrimp, chicken wings, fried pork, pork ramen, and three sushi rolls. The kids in our family chose the Philly Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and Red Dragon Roll, and they really enjoyed them. I had originally planned to order a different sushi roll from the menu, but it wasn't available that day. It wasn't a big deal, though, because the rolls we did get were fresh and delicious. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. The churrasco steak was my personal favorite--the meat was incredibly tender and already well seasoned on its own. My husband wasn't a fan of the accompanying sauce, but he agreed the steak itself was excellent. We also really enjoyed the fried rice, and the portions were generous. They were also generous with the condiments and included a variety of sauces with our order, which we appreciated. The only thing we missed was chili oil, since it's a condiment we usually expect to have available at Chinese restaurants. If you're staying nearby or looking for a restaurant that offers both Chinese and Japanese cuisine, Tayzan is definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared for a crowd--it seems to be popular for a reason!

(For those unfamiliar, Sushi by Bou offers a mid-priced limited-seating/chef's-table type omakase experience, but not like, super old-school serious Japanese-style- it has more of a fun, modern vibe. The locations aren't standalone, but rather speakeasy style, nestled into some other larger space like a hotel lobby, hotel suite, coffee shop, or restaurant.) That said, this particular location really exceeded my expectations, and may now be my favorite Sushi by Bou location. The quality of the sushi was very good as usual, but the ambiance was even better than some of the New York locations, and the service was fantastic. The chefs were a ton of fun, and the cocktail menu is great. I particularly liked the yuzu honey bee.

They are located at the Fairmont Elementary School San Juan Hotel. It's a small restaurant, just the sushi bar and the cocktail bar. In the back they have a speakeasy karaoke lounge. Great vibes, very trendy and hip. Reserves your table via OpenTable and choose from either the 12 course or 15 course experience. You eat what the chef places I. Front of you, as long as you're not allergic to it. Afterwards, they give you a menu to revisit anything and have some extras. We chose the 12 course. This was the first time my wife and I had experienced something like this. It was great. Every course was delicious. And the sake was excellent. My only complaint would be that the OpenTable description made it seem like the 15 course was longer, but two in our group chose it and it was the same. Maybe because they were in our group? Oh well, next time. Cocktails were also very good. Beer options were more basic. Service fantastic. Our big surprise was finding out the lounge is a karaoke lounge. That was lots of fun. We stayed till closing time.

The bartender was spectacular! Kept good conversation going with all of us at the bar, but not too much that you can't enjoy your time. (I was solo dining for context). For the food, a lot of it was very yummy, but I do think I was missing something with each dish. Whether it was salt, more umami, or just spice. The methods of everything being made was executed well, it just could have been better in overall flavor which is why I gave it 3 stars. On top of the bartender having a great personality & service, the cocktails were equally delicious. Now the flavor is absolutely in the bar so although I may not come back for all of the food, I would willingly try more dishes and eagerly order a drink!

The place is small but cute inside. The staff is very attentive and friendly. If you like sake, we had a very unique and delicious sake bottle called the Moonstone. Is unfiltered sake with a coconut lemongrass flavor. We tasted the sake flight and that one was the winner flavor. As appetizer we had the pan fried mixed dumplings, veggie and pork. Both good. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen which was decent but not as tasty as I would like it to be. The broth wasn't rich enough. The meat and noodles were great. The amount was plentiful. It fulfilled its purpose. We finished our meal in a sweet note with two scoops of ice cream, sesame and caramel flavors. They were creamy, really good.
