Service is quick. I did ask for more ginger but I finished my rolls before they even brought it out. This is a place you got for affordable and good eats, so idc much about service or the interior. - Eel with avocado, 5/5! Get this. So delicious and umami. - Spicy mix, 3.9/5: Def not bad, but you really can't taste much. The mix leads to none of the tastes being prominent. - Spicy salmon, 4/5: Classic. Simple and delicious. Not spicy tho and didn't see any seasoning or sauce to suggest it should be spicy. - Yaki noodle, 5/5: Manages to be right on the verge of salty, but in the best way. It's has such a simple clean taste. Hearty and delicious. Parking is pretty easy. There's a lot of roadside parking across the street.

Yummy and cheap. Quick service. Very no frills and lots of options. Cheaper then the sushi place next door. All the sushi was fast and fresh. Menu has many options. Service was kind as well. We had crab Rangoon, shrimp tempura, eel, Boston and spicy salmon rolls.

This place was so good. I saw enough positive reviews compared to a couple (seemingly mentally unhinged) reviews, that I felt the need to interrupt my vacation to let ya'll know. The garlic butter edamame was delicious, the salmon/tuna sushi pizza was exquisite and unique, and the ikura (salmon roe) was as fresh as I've ever had. Service, price, and speed of service all awesome too. I have 6 days left here in PR , and I can't wait to try more of their offerings.

Was led here by fellow yelpers. Ordered the spicy tuna crunch roll and did not realize it had cream cheese. It was good, not as spicy as I like but they can adjust the spice level if you want. I was turned off by the cream cheese and realized a lot of sushi rolls have it. I also ordered the spicy scallop sushi and the spice was good on this but I wasn't feeling the bay scallops, had a fishy twinge to it. I did order some beef lo mein to go and that was bomb!

We were here three times during our 4 days in San Juan. It's a short drive to our hotel, and i can park at Walgreens parking lot for free and walgreen has a huge parking lot. Everytime we walked in, there is always table available, and i usually have their Japanese green tea, it's hot, but it's good for summer. I had their Udon noodles, pretty good. But their stir-fry, especially the black pepper version stir fry of Chicken or beaf, all taste so good. My husband enjoyed it so much, and every time he orders the same thing. And he wants me to make it when we get home. The service is great, owner is from Guangzhou China and the lady who always serves us also from the same area. She is super friendly. It's definately a place to eat if you are tired of local Caribbean or Puerto Rico food. Highly recommend.

Excellent Sushi place. The food is always so fresh. You notice as soon as as you pick up a roll with your chopsticks; soft and fresh. Good cocktails as well. All reasonably priced. Service is A+ as well. Limited parking in front; better to walk.

I love that you have the option to customize your sushi in so many ways. They don't have those options in LA. The service was fine. Staff was easy to talk to. The restaurant is a decent size with plenty of tables and chairs. It's conveniently located across from all the hotels and the beach. Quick beach snack! Why not ? Try the mango and rice roll. Very refreshing. And the brown sugar boba was also a hit.

great sushi, great appetizers. waiter was friendly and had awesome recommendations. we got there early at 5 pm and food came out very fast but it might've been because it was pretty empty. overall great experience, you should check it out if you're nearby. shrimp tempura appetizer was good, so were the spring rolls. i had the pinky salmon roll and it was excellent!

I'm not usually into leaving reviews unless the place is either very good/bad. Yamiko, however, is very delicious. On my trip we've come back here three times already because of how amazing the food was. Service was very quick, and very chill inside the location, some music playing but not too loud that you can't hear each other talk. Everything is just right here, my fiance and I have been very pleased with what Yamiko has to offer!

So we spent about a week in San Juan back in October, and one night, while walking to Walgreens, we spotted this little restaurant. By the time we got back to the resort and as the night went on, me and my roommate and I developed a taste for sushi and fried rice. So we decided to take another walk down after placing an online order. They weren't too busy, but they didn't begin to prepare the food right away, so we had to wait a little while. But once we got the food and walked back .. it was packaged well and still piping hot (I just had a shrimp fried rice) The flavors were good. The seasoning was on point and there were plenty of veggies

Fast service. Delicious food! Bilingual restaurant. Parking is rough in this area that the only downside. I came here two years ago and loved it. Then I had to park in Walgreens parking lot which is right behind the restaurant. This time we ubered. Also was super excited to see a priceless roll and a sushi pizza!

My parents had eaten here before and said it was really good, so we were excited to see if it lived up to the hype. The restaurant had a lively, bustling atmosphere, with a steady stream of customers dining in and picking up takeout orders. Even though it was busy, the staff kept things moving efficiently. Even for a large order, the wait was only about 30 minutes. They have a separate pickup area for to-go orders, which made the process organized and easy despite how busy they were. We ordered the beef fried rice, house fried rice, churrasco steak, house lo mein, sesame beef, jumbo shrimp, chicken wings, fried pork, pork ramen, and three sushi rolls. The kids in our family chose the Philly Roll, Salmon Avocado Roll, and Red Dragon Roll, and they really enjoyed them. I had originally planned to order a different sushi roll from the menu, but it wasn't available that day. It wasn't a big deal, though, because the rolls we did get were fresh and delicious. Everything was flavorful and well prepared. The churrasco steak was my personal favorite--the meat was incredibly tender and already well seasoned on its own. My husband wasn't a fan of the accompanying sauce, but he agreed the steak itself was excellent. We also really enjoyed the fried rice, and the portions were generous. They were also generous with the condiments and included a variety of sauces with our order, which we appreciated. The only thing we missed was chili oil, since it's a condiment we usually expect to have available at Chinese restaurants. If you're staying nearby or looking for a restaurant that offers both Chinese and Japanese cuisine, Tayzan is definitely worth checking out. Just be prepared for a crowd--it seems to be popular for a reason!

The bartender was spectacular! Kept good conversation going with all of us at the bar, but not too much that you can't enjoy your time. (I was solo dining for context). For the food, a lot of it was very yummy, but I do think I was missing something with each dish. Whether it was salt, more umami, or just spice. The methods of everything being made was executed well, it just could have been better in overall flavor which is why I gave it 3 stars. On top of the bartender having a great personality & service, the cocktails were equally delicious. The place is small but cute inside. The staff is very attentive and friendly. If you like sake, we had a very unique and delicious sake bottle called the Moonstone. Is unfiltered sake with a coconut lemongrass flavor. We tasted the sake flight and that one was the winner flavor. As appetizer we had the pan fried mixed dumplings, veggie and pork. Both good. I had the Tonkotsu Ramen which was decent but not as tasty as I would like it to be. The broth wasn't rich enough. The meat and noodles were great. The amount was plentiful. It fulfilled its purpose. We finished our meal in a sweet note with two scoops of ice cream, sesame and caramel flavors. They were creamy, really good.
