I used to come here before with another lady but i did not see her there today,l. anyway, as soon as I get in NONE of the lady that works there ever said Hi or Can we help you... so i sat down and noticed that both of them were helping costumers then i saw another lady was also sitting waiting for her turn. As I was waiting one lady came in and the worker said Hello to her then another 2 came in and workers both greeted them. So i just sat down and thinking am I gonna be help? Then after one of the worker who is doing threading with one costumer is done she asked one of the costumers to go in her chair then another worker asked another costumer to sit in her chair also, I was left wandering why do they asked them to sit down already coz i came before them? So i finally stood up and asked the worker if I need to make an appointment and she responded " for threading you don't need an appointment" and I said " i came before those 2 ladies sitting in those chairs" and the worker just looked at me and just shrugged her shoulder did not even say a word. So disappointed! Do they only helped INDIAN Costumers? If so put it on your signed " ONLY INDIAN COSTUMERS ARE ALLOWED!!!" Or train your workers to treat costumers even not Indian right!! Lesson: IF YOU'RE NOT AN INDIAN DON'T COME TO THIS PLACE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE WHO KNOWS HOW TO TREAT THEIR COSTUMER RIGHT!!! read more

I am regular customer for threading need since few months. Last Sunday during my visit I didn't see Amber. One lady did my eyebrows, she was caring and did good job and corrected based on my requested changes for the eyebrows threading. The owner lady who is little dark and tall having many acne pores on her face was working with other girl for some advertisement write up. When my eyebrows done and time for upper lip threading, the owner lady told that she will do it on my face and asked the first lady who did my eyebrows to take care of advertisement write up. She started threading on my upper lip to remove hairs. Her attitude was not good, seems arrogant. Even though she was working on my face, her concentration was on the talk for the advertisement write up. She was giving her input for the write up while working on my face. What a bad behavior for the customer! She ripped my skin off from the middle of my lip area and it started bleeding. When I asked her how did it happen, she was giving excuses like your skin is sensitive. I replied that I have been doing this since many years and never happened to me. She didn't say 'sorry' for her mistake. What a rude lady! She put some chemical on the ripped skin area and my skin started swelling. The next day, it was totally black with dead skin on my upper lip. It was horrible looking face and I felt not going outside to meet anyone. I checked with my physician for the treatment and she mentioned it will take few months to resolve it completely. I am very sad with the experience I had at beauty salon and now I need to put efforts to remove it completely and spending time and energy on the mistake by business owner. read more

I went there yesterday for waxing(legs, arms, underarms) and had a very bad experience. I have been waxing myself for many years and know how things work. Pros: -Cheaper price and that's where all the good things end. Cons: - The owner lady did the waxing as amber was feeling dizzy and had to go back (I understand this) The lady was too much interested in talking rather than doing her job. - She started with disposable waxing strips and then tried to use the cloth strips with asking me (totally not okay) - She tried to overuse the waxing strips.. it hurts a lot when a strip is full of wax. She was trying to save on the strips even after I tried to tell her multiple times. I even told her that I will gift her a box of strips next time but nothing helped. May be she used 5 strips in total for hands, full legs and underarms - The bed I was lying on was full of hair even though she covered half of it with paper, so -1 for cleanliness for sure - After the whole messy, tedious and hurtful waxing, she applied some gel in a very absurd manner(just to get done with the job.. I hated it). And the worst part was that she cleaned the gel with the paper she had put on the bed. That's was not acceptable. - The wax she used was not water soluble. You need to use oil to get rid of it. But after she was done, I said that I am still feeling very sticky and she brought a wet dirty white towel. Are you kidding me?? - I couldn't put my dress back because of extreme stickiness. So, I used a little bit of oil kept there without asking her and I am sorry for that. But I had no option. Overall, I wish that I had done it myself or gone to a better place. Most horrible experience ever. read more

Two stars because the lady was nice. I was hoping to like this place since it's close to where I live but, nope. Never coming back again. I had my eyebrows threaded but, was not done by Amber, (everyone has great reviews about her on here) It was done by another lady. Everything was going fine at first, nice, new clean place & the lady was friendly. Then it was time to sit up and look in the mirror at my freshly threaded well, in this case freshly butchered eyebrows. One eyebrow look like this __ and the other looked like this ^. I've been working on keeping them a certain shape for a while now. Now they're super thin, (like 1999 thin where all the girls damn near shaved their eyebrows thin.) At this point, I wanted to cry lol. But, I kept my composure and said thanks and paid. Yeah, I was upset but eff it. It'll grow back.. s l o w l y. Thank God for eyebrow fillers. Anyways, feel free to try them out. Hate to give bad reviews since they're a new business but, just lookin out. Maybe, naw... I wont be back. read more

I have been coming to this place for almost 3 years. All are very good staff but I come here only for Anjali. She does really good job on eyebrows. I've come here 3 different occasions and had 3 different employees help me each time. Every single time I've come, it has been very rushed, rude and inconsistent. The first time the lady didn't greet me but pointed where I should sit and sighed in frustration if I didn't understand her or hear her correctly but did an ok job and gave an aloe Vera massage after. I thought I'll come back again. The second time a different lady was really rough with my head, and I mean shoving it and turning my head very hard. Bumping into me her elbows and boobs and didn't care if the threads caught onto some of my hair and kinda ripping it out and I had to ask her for some aloe Vera. The last time which was yesterday they lady pretty much rushed the job and I didn't even bother to ask for the aloe Vera this time. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for 5 years and have gone to different places and have never had experiences like this. Will not be going back. read more

Had the worst experience with full body waxing.. totally unprofessional.. it was weird to have 2 people peeling the wax simultaneously from different body parts.. the chocolate wax was super hot compared to other places.. and the ladies gave me bruises all over my body and were overusing waxing strips to save them.. Had a horrible threading experience. The lady who did my eyebrows had least patience . Usually at salons they give a minute to let them know if we are satisfied and get the corrections done, if any.This lady kept on saying u should have held it properly as if it is my mistake. She skipped doing the complete upper part of my eyebrows and just threaded on the lower half . I was so disappointed to have got it done with her. It feels/ looks like she did not do my eyebrows at all.Looks like shaping is not what she even knows. Just threaded few extra strands here and there and that's it! Been here twice... The first time my brows were done pretty good. I don't know who did them but I'm guessing it was Amber. Came here yesterday and someone different did them. She did a really bad job on my right eyebrow. If she would've paid more attention to what she was doing to me than talking her head off, I think the end result would've been ok. I walked in for some Henna work and they were able to squeeze me in on a Friday at 5:00. The lady working the front was very nice! The woman who did my henna was very quick, nice and friendly. The salon itself is very clean (which I appreciate) and they were open to any ideas on how I would like my henna to be done. I will for sure go back the next time I want some more henna done. I called ahead of time to make an appointment with Amber since she seems to be the most skilled person here when it comes to eyebrow threading. I not completely sure whether she was the person I spoke with, but the lady on the phone said before 6 pm because she will leave eary that day. I got there around 5:20 pm, Amber was not there. First they said she just went to grab food real quick, so they asked me to wait 7-10 minutes. After 20 minutws of waiting, they got a phone call from her. They were speaking in another language so I couldn't understand, but I knew something was up. The lady who was talking to Amber on the phone said Amber will not be able to make it so she asked me nicely if I want her to do my eyebrows instead. I was very hesistant because I have seen bad reviews here about eyebrow threading from other employees, but I waited more than 20 minutes already. I was starving and it's been a long Sunday for me. So I said ok. But oh boy, one of the biggest mistake of my life. Like other reviews, I was asked as well if I wanted "thick" or thin eyebrow. I put "thick" in quotation mark because I feel like they don't know what thick eyebrow really is. I get my eyebrows done to enhance the way I look, not to make it worse. So not only do I think this salon was very unprofessional for not sticking with my appointment, I do not think they are worth any of your dollar. Save your money for a better eye brow. Note: The only reason why I put 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff were nice, but that doesn't give the justice for my overall experience. read more

Eyebrow threading was done perfectly. Overall a nice experience. One thing I found 'not ok' was the post-waxing cleanup. I would prefer 'wet and hot towel cleanup' rather than just some 'oil application'. I hope they change that! read more

I would have give negative stars if poss... went for hair styling after confirming on phn tht they do it.. that lady gave random puffs which made my head look uneven and she had applied way too much hair spray and she was very rude .. when i told her to fix she got angry and started pulling my hair with a comb saying I will remove it.. only good thing was another lady waged my hair and removed that horrible styling and as a courtesy removed it from the bill... but definitely no no fr hair services read more

Very clean shop, cleaner than most places I've been to. Amber is very good and tries to get to know her customers. My eyebrows turned out great and it's a lot cheaper than other places.
