I had such a wonderful experience with Jeet and truly can't recommend her enough. I came in after a very traumatizing haircut from another stylist where the layers in the back were cut far too short and left disconnected. I had been growing my hair out for three months and was nervous to let anyone touch it again. Jeet was incredibly kind, patient, and understanding from the start. She really listened to my concerns and respected my goal of continuing to grow out the short layers. Instead of over-cutting, she carefully trimmed just what was necessary, removed the weird "tail" at the ends, and shaped everything in a way that made my hair look fuller, healthier, and more balanced. She also trimmed my face-framing layers, refreshed my layers overall, and gave me beautiful curtain bangs that blend perfectly. I got a hair cut with jeets beauty lounge on March 14 and she completely botched my hair. When I expressed to her that I wanted her signature layers with a blowout she warned me that it "will look weird when it's straight". Not until after my haircut did I think to myself that all haircuts should flow seamlessly and shouldn't be cut with a warning that it would look "weird". Nonetheless, I should have ran out as soon as she said that. But I wanted to trust her hair skills. I have fine, curly hair. My hair came out looking very choppy. I have postpartum hair loss and my hair looks even thinner than before. I have lost confidence after coming to this salon. I have also addressed my concerns to her and offered for her to make things right and she never got back to me which I find very unprofessional. Please think twice before coming here. You will end up with a botched or "weird" haircut and a loss of confidence after. read more

TLDR: I don't recommend this place for eyebrow threading. Despite clearly stating that I wanted to keep my natural shape and only clean up stray hairs, the employee over-threaded one brow and now I am waiting for my eyebrow hair to grow back. They tried to chalk it up as a "miscommunication," even though I was very clear from the start. Be cautious if you're a new customer. I recently moved to the area and was excited to try this place based on the good reviews, hoping it could become my go-to spot for haircuts and threading. The shop was small, with only two employees, but it wasn't busy at the time. The manager (I assume) was doing haircuts and another lady was idly sitting on the side. The lady who was free helped me out. I explained I was here to thread my eyebrows and I explicitly stated "I like my existing shape and I just want to clean up the stray hairs". This was my first visit so I kept my expectations low and my request very VERY simple. She quickly ushered me to a chair and was getting ready to start. At first, I was a little surprised at the speed we were going, like there were no follow up questions on how I like my brows or any small talk. Since my request was simple and I was NOT looking to reshape my brows, I wasn't too worried and trusted them as professionals. I even reminded her as she began threading to not make my ends too thin as this was a fear of mine from a bad wax job. She started with my right brow and I was shocked with the results when she asked me for my initial review. She had taken off too much from the lower half and created an overly pronounced arch, which I hadn't asked for. When I expressed my dissatisfaction, she tried to state that it suited my face or that the area was sparse. First of all, I have many friends who have slight gaps in their eyebrow that they fix with eyebrow pencils. Secondly, why would you not have me review the eyebrows before you take off 30% of the bottom half of my brows. None of my previous threaders and waxers in San Diego had ever taken off as much as she did. I know this because I have a mole by my eyebrow and past threaders have only ever taken it a hairline or two above that. With this threading, my mole is significantly highlighted in a blank space. This was not the shape I wanted, nor the one that I requested. I wanted what looked good for me and not what she believes is right for my face. I then reiterated my preferences for the left brow, repeating multiple times that I only wanted the stray hairs removed. She did a better job on that side, but by that point, the damage to my right brow had already been done. As for the quality of the threading job, I've had better results in San Diego. I noticed stray strands on my eyelid immediately after the visit. The lady didn't do any final touch-ups with a tweezer, which I've experienced at other salons. Probably sensing my dissatisfaction, she got the manager over who asked if I had any questions. I told her the situation and she said this is how they would normally do my brows and I have to specifically request for it to be thick. I explained to the manager that I told her from the start "I want to keep my existing brow shape and only trim the strays". The manager then stated that it must have been a miscommunication. Thinking back, I believe the issue was NO communication. I was ushered quickly to the chair, there was barely a conversation, and they did not do any pre-markings on my eyebrows to ensure they are aligned with my vision. The manager also tried to reassure me that it suits me and looks good. I feel like she was hoping to make me feel better, but I also feel like they were trying to slightly gaslight me into believing my brows were fine. I will point out that as I went up to pay the manager stated that I did not need to pay if I was unsatisfied with the service. Ultimately, for those that are coming here for threading, be extra communicative or pre-draw your eyebrows so they don't remove your "sparse" brows. It is 2024 and there are more than one eyebrow shape besides the 2000s thin arched brows. I hope the employee can improve on their communication skills at the start of service. If you did not hear the customer, please ask more questions. If I go to a barber and ask for a haircut, I don't expect the barber to start cutting what he thinks will look good on me. I expect them to ask what length and style I like, especially when I never said anything like "please do what you think best"... Anyways please be cautious if you are a new customer. read more

Going to have to agree with a recent eyebrow threading feedback. +1 star for being flexible in fitting me in their schedule No stars for actual eyebrow threading by her helper. Came in with a decent shape that needed clean up and now I have jagged uneven brows. One is a thin line that's literally one thickness throughout. The other is thick, jagged and full of bald spots. Stray hairs everywhere. Immediately after looking in the mirror I knew she didn't really know how to do brows so I cut my losses and walked away instead of asking for adjustments and ending up with 90's thin brows. One of them really had no room for adjustments at that point. And I'm hoping to salvage the other myself. Super disappointed. read more

Last minute decision, I needed a highly recommended place to get my brows threaded so I turned to Yelp for help. I've been getting my eyebrows threaded for over 10 years and I haven't really found a good place that understands my eyebrows.... eyebrow shape that is. It's been over 3 months since the last time I had my eyebrows threaded and it was extremely too thin so I've been traumatized and had to wait for my brows to grow back.
