I am very disappointed in this establishment. I made and appointed with Ramita through their website and when I come for the appointment she was not there. I specifically made an appointment ensuring to get Ramita because I heard good things about her. The other staff there said that she left. If you aren't gonna be there it is professional to let the person who made an appointment know rather than having them come all the way to your establishment and not be there. If you aren't going to look at your appointments than don't have that as an option on your website. Very unprofessional. read more

Not only was she fast and efficient while shaping up the wife & i's brows, but she also was extremely nice and courteous along the way. My wife has always had a bit of trouble finding a threader that can do her eyebrows since they are a little tricky to deal with, but Ramita took care of it with ease and her brows have never looked so good! I have been gettin my brows threaded for about 15 years and have had my share of mostly good and some bad threading. This time was bad! So so painful. I felt like i could feel each hair slowly pluck. I left with my eyes watering and a bright red face. Cherry on top: Charged 12 dollars. Then handed a salon pamphlet with coupons. The price I saw was 5 for brows. 3 for chin. Is my math wrong? Thats 8 dollars not 12. So in addition to being humiliated, caused pain, I was overcharged for it. read more

I get my eyebrows done here normally and after heavily debating on whether I should change my hair a little or not, I decided to go for it. My previous color had faded quite a lot and I was in need of a desperate trim. I opted for a magenta/purple look and they were able to pull it off, even though we weren't sure if the color would come out over my old color. The staff was extremely professional and patient, even though I have very thick hair and took a lot of their time. I found the salon through browsing for local salons since I'm new to the area. I booked an appointment with Ramita the night before through Yelp. I got my hair trimmed and eyebrows threaded by two different staff and both did such a great job. Everyone was super nice and friendly. And the female staff who cut my hair was very attentive and communicative with how I wanted my hair to be. She asked for confirmation and suggested my damage ends to be trimmed more but just enough to fit with the back hair length. The other staff was also nice and did a great job on my brows. Crappy job! Went in for waxing and eyebrows. The lady took me to the facial room to do my waxing, ended by burning my skin. Extremely unhygienic as they handed out a used towel and I had to point out to get a fresh one! They made me place my feet on the pillows and sheets used for facial. I would never recommend this place to anyone! The facial room had low lighting and that dint help the lady to wax when I pointed out she was not able to see properly. She acted weird and said all the rooms are low lit in the salon. When I was leaving (after tipping) the owner asked me for feedback. When I said I dint like the service and my complaints, the assistant who did my waxing started arguing. Mind you, they were the ones asking for feedback but, couldn't even let me complete. All in all, this place has bad reviews on yelp for a reason! They are overpriced and the staff is arrogant. Save yourself from the horror of burnt skin and unpleasant conversations! read more

Horrible uneven haircut. Just wanted my roots colored and ended up getting talked into a trim. Then the lady who spoke only Hindi chopped 4 in. off my hair without even asking. I contacted the owner she said they would fix it at another salon...this is what it looked like after it was fixed. Never offered a refund for my hair cut. They charged me for a threading, facial, root touch up, and to cut all my hair off $255. My hair looked so bad had to pay $125 to get another haircut from another salon and fix the root touch up because I still had grey! read more

First off, Tony is an AMAZING hairstylist. He prefers to cut hair straightened and dry, and the staff straightened my hair to perfection before he cut my hair (my hair probably hasn't been this straight and sleek since I popped out of the womb, woops). He really listens to what you want done to your hair, and he never once made me second guess my decision to come to Beauty Spot. Tony is so warm and friendly, and he seems to really love what he does! I'm so glad he was the one who cut my hair--it has so much movement and life to it now. I love the way my haircut looks, and it hasn't felt this healthy in a long time. This spot offers one of the most affordable and well worth it haircuts. There's only one lady who actually knows what she's doing. I've been there twice where she hasn't been there. First time she wasn't there someone did a clean up on my eyebrows and they messed them all up, second time another lady did them and she took my skin off. I went few days after talked to the owner and she didn't even offer me a discount or anything. Showed her the pictures and just said come back Saturday to have my usually lady thread them. read more
