I been going to caspers for a while now , and it seems every time I been ther for a fix I leave with a half ass job . It really gets to me because I know the brothers are total motor heads . So why the problems ? I even sent so many people to them that also had the exact same experience. So this is what I'm thing , either they don't give a crap about the regular person , customer , and they only care about all the customers with race cars that spend a lot of money ., Or they do not watch over their mechanics enough !!!!!!!!! Todd and his brother Tom and father Tom are awesome. I had a check engine light that kept coming on. I was referred to Todd, Tom Jr, and Tom Sr from my cousin who restores classic cars and they did excellent work as my cousin is very meticulous about who touches his babies so we gave them a try and they blew us away with their customer service. I basically dealt with Todd who took a lot of time explaining to me the steps they would take to diagnose the dreaded check engine light. Phenomenal excellence in service. As Aristotle said. I had my vehicle service their in 2014. This is a family business that have a high performance rating. I had one of the brother' name TOM which is not there no more which gave me very good service and worked with me with intergrity, respect, and courtesy. Now i had so called service in i believe in march. They held my car for TWO WEEKS and at the same time i spent over $2000 on rental to have the other brother tell me he could not do the rest of the work. Now i purchase my own parts( valve cover gasket, sparks plugs, rotors, carbon break pads etc. And he called his self giving my a discount on the one side he said he finish only for me to go to the next mechanic to tell me the work that was done had to be done over in which i had to re-purchase again. After moving on i found missing clamps for my front under carriage, the clamps that secured the twin plastic air hose was missing. And after all of that, the other brother who i communicated with on the regular drove past me like i was a stranger. They don't have the computer aspect of doung a complete job on foreign or imported vehicles. So basically if you have a high end vehicle- BMW, VOLVO, JAGUAR, etc. DON'T TAKE IT. AND IF YOUR A KING OR QUEEN, definitely DON'T TAKE YOUR VEHICLE. Peace. read more

Went here to get my headlights replaced. Sadly my car is almost impossible to do yourself. The book says its a 90min job at about $100 for both bulbs. I got there 8:45am. At 9:15am they were done. Only charged me $40. Nice to see some honest shops still exsist. read more

I had a custom exhaust put on my truck approx four years ago by Kaspers Korner because they touted themselves as the best custom exhaust shop in the area. They are not. I just paid $200 to have my exhaust welded back together. Not one, but two Master Mechanics said what a horrible job that was done to my truck. Horrible weld job. Both mechanics said the exhaust system should have lasted much longer then four years. I paid premium rate for sub par job. Very disappointed. read more

HORRIBLE!!! I've been a customer for 15 years and very disappointed in the outcome of this situation. I took my 1996 Mustang Cobra in for a routine Pinion Seal Replacement on 3-29-17. Upon picking up the Cobra, I noticed unfamiliar sounds(whining noise and clunking upon releasing/engaging the clutch) coming from the rear differential area that were not there when I took it in for service. I took the car back on 4-6-17 with this concern that was still occurring, leaving it with them for the day. Upon returning on my own, they(Tom and Todd) said it was normal and the E-Brake was sticking....The problem continued, so I decided to reach out to other Mechanics for a second and third opinion. Both stated they heard whining and noticed extreme tightness in driveshaft (I also noticed car would not drift backwards in neutral). Again, I went back on 4-17-17 to tell them the current situation...Todd disrespectfully denied this, questioned my opinions(also ASE Mechanics), as well as questioning my knowledge, which I don't extensively have...I do know my vehicle though, and it sounded like a piece of s**t after they worked on it....Todd also stated he doesn't want my business.....real professional....Since this, I've had at least 6 people tell me the same thing about this place.....now I'm out over 1,000 dollars for this mess. DON'T TAKE YOUR CAR TO THESE HACKS!!! read more

My 2005 Subaru LGT is getting old so I expect some problems after 155,000 miles. Problem one: engine light comes on and AutoZone diagnoses it as camshaft sensor. I was going to replace it myself but there's no room in the engine bay and I cannot get my hands in there. Kasper tells me they must run a diagnostic because they cannot always trust AutoZone (or others) to find the problem. I get a quote, they do the work and it comes out to around $300. 3 way split for diagnostic, part and labor. A month later they clean the throttle body when the engine throws a code. No charge for diagnostics, around $100 labor and the light is off and the car runs great. Another month later and the light is back on and the car limps into Kasper's. After a discussion we decide to replace the throttle body because the cleaning didn't do the trick (I was warned at the previous trip that the throttle body might be beyond a simple cleaning). I was advised that there could be a potential computer problem, and if that's the case I will need to have Subaru do the diagnostics. The dealerships do not share proprietary diagnostics. Kasper advises if we do the throttle body first and the problem persists, it's better to replace the throttle body with a genuine Subaru part. If we go with some remanufactured Chinese garbage, Subaru will insist on throwing that part away in addition to what the computer might cost (over $1000). I found the genuine Subaru throttle body will be $600, but considering the alternative I go with Kasper's recommendation on an OEM part despite their offer to shop for something cheaper should I wish. Kasper replaces the throttle body, does not charge for the additional diagnostics, and asks for one hour of labor. After another month and things are still good. Many people may not know cars and suspect they are being taken to the cleaners. I commend Kasper's for their honesty and willingness to make things right by not charging again and again for diagnostics, and being reasonable with labor charges. I'll be back if necessary (hopefully an unrelated issue) and the guys at Kasper know what they are doing. Some may be disappointed by having to pay for repairs, but if cars never need them dealers would give a lifetime warranty. read more

I dropped off my Subaru to get the timing belt,,oil pump, and water pump serviced for the recommended 120,000 service. a big mistake imo as what I wanted done was not done due to a lack of "special" tools. the water pump and timing belt was changed but not the oil pump. the est for that wasn't even close, no oil pump but the charge remained the same. they did replace the balancer for $88 more added to the bill, the cost of the oil pump that wasn't installed. less than 2 hours later a mech from the shop stopped in where I work and stated " no one wanted to work on the car and that their top rate AAA+++ mech couldn't work on a 97' Subaru as it was just too tough" he said a few other things but at that point I and others who heard this was wondering "why even take the job if you can't do it right". one hour later the engine light came on and the car started acting up like never before. to give them another shot at fixing it is out of the question due to their mech's statement. after he left others in the store started telling horror stories of the shop and their work. if I only knew before hand their problems I would of saved $806.00 and took the car to the dealership to get it done correctly. they might be good for brakes and an oil change but I cannot recommend them to anyone for anything that needs a real mech. this easy service now will cost me over $1800 total to get it fixed right. like I said if I only knew in advance I would of saved $806. read more
