How many mechanics does it take to screw in a light bulb....and how much should you pay them to do it? I called pep boys, Chevy dealerships and Firestone. Some places said there was a 1 hour plus wait, others said the charge was over 60 dollars! I have a basic 4 cylinder car that doesn't require anything fancy. Heck, if I had the tools I'd change the darn light myself. So I called Naz, nice little place that has evening hours. I told them the sun is setting, my light bulb is out, and all the other places I called are being ridiculous. The person I spoke with warmly reassured me that changing my light is simple, he'd pull a mechanic off another job and have the whole thing done in 20 minutes. He even chuckled at the stories I told him about the other places. You'd think I had spiffy Audi light! I came here, basic small shop, filled with car maintenance tips and a friendly staff. There's a TV in the waiting room. Next door there is a subway, shop rite, and a few other things so you could always wonder off if you were coming in for the works. When my light was replaced, they advised my oil change sticker was over due, but I declined the oil change because I monitor it using the gage on the dash. I thought that was friendly of them to ask. Let me start off by saying when my car's engine stoped working, the only light on the dash was the tire light. That was it. When I picked the car up from this shop after they put a newer one in, at least four more lights were on including ABS, traction control, a steering wheel one, and a disabled airbag. When I called for an update on the car a week or two prior they told me about the lights coming on however I was under the impression that they were already troubleshooting them and planning on fixing the problems. Apparently I was wrong. They had no intentions of fixing the problems I'm now almost 99% convinced they caused. Like I said those lights weren't on before the car got dropped off. They go in and put an entire engine in and now there's lights. You put two and two together. When I expressed these concerns they were completely unsympathetic and acted like they have no idea what could have happened and basically now it's my responsibility to fix it. On top of the 7k we already spent, for more money they'll go in and fix what they did oh wow what a deal. Because now I can not trust them and feel like they're just trying to milk more money out of my poor father, take advantage of a 21 year old female with minimal car knowledge, and waste even more of our time with bs diagnostics to rack up labor costs, I already went and talked to two other mechanics both of which agree it was probably their fault and the one that's going to inevitably fix their mistakes believes that best case scenario, they didn't plug something back in or worst case scenario they butchered the entire job. I have already requested a full report back to prove that they are at fault and if these findings show that I will be pursuing legal action for their negligence. Imagine if while driving this car home I got into an accident and died because of the airbag error. Because they couldn't go back and check their work. How sad. I do not appreciate getting lied to and I very much do not appreciate them trying to act like there's absolutely no possibility they caused this and would rather blame it on the car "sitting" or the tow company which literally sat there and explained to me how to properly tow the car so there is no damage. This shop is lucky my dad is a nice dude and paid the bill without demanding they fix the problems like the new mechanic suggested. I am pissed. Update: 12/10/21 Forgot to do this sooner but got the report back a couple of weeks ago and it has been confirmed that many of the problems were from their, dare I say, sloppy work and negligence. The mechanic told me many of the ground wires were not properly done and there was also a dangerously low amount of oil in the engine. Now someone please explain to me how you mange to put an entire engine in a car and forget to make sure to put enough oil in it. It's honestly laughable. So all in all I had to spend another $700+ dollars to fix their incompetent mistakes. Consider going to a specialist to avoid the months of aggravation I just had to endure. The only reason I'm not pursuing legal action is because me and my dad just honestly don't feel like it at this point and I'm just glad I now have the satisfaction of knowing I was right. Recently took my jeep in for new balljoints. Price was fair and service was great. They called me throughout the day to give me updates and to let me know about any changes in price. They also gave my jeep a thorough inspection and let me know about a few others things they spotted, but they did not pressure me to have this extra work done. Good quality work and honest. Pros: Quick and efficient service Cons: Parking entrance not the best I took my car to Naz Auto Repair last Thursday (4/6/17). A friend who has taken his car there numerous times recommended Naz to me. I set up an appointment for that Friday but that was the only time I could drop my car off was Thursday. When I pull into the parking lot, I see there is no place to park. There are cars and trucks parked everywhere. For me, this is a good sign. All the best auto repair places, I've been too, have more cars and trucks to fix than they will ever get around to. I leave my car, sort of parked in the middle of their driveway and walk into their small waiting area. I drop off my keys and I'm told that they will call me tomorrow to give me an update and estimate. To my surprise, Naz called me half way through my day to give me an estimate. By the end of the day my car was finished, a day ahead of schedule. To me, Naz seems like a trustworthy and reliable place to get your car serviced. 6-25-22 Last summer I had an Intermittent no start in my Buick NAZ told me My Engine computer went bad in my car They sold me a used ECM for $1600.00 I could tell because the housing was corroded and then the same issue started happening again Intermittent No Start.! It took them 2 week to fig it out for the first used ECM then another 2 weeks for the 2nd ECM unit They did the 2nd repair at no charge but at great inconvenience to me! I was not happy because they did not sell me the recon or new ECM the first time! If I did not have a 2nd car I would have been screwed with paying rental car fees... Watch out for these guys as they have a nice shop but are slick talkers with sky high Repair fees...! At my advice my Lyft driver came in with me because she needed front brakes for her car She asked what the cost was to replace the front pads and if needed rotors on her car The sales guy says we cannot give a quote until we look at your car. When I heard him say that, I thought well yes you can and then say The amount and if any other parts are needed there will be additional cost. They operated like a new car dealer with high hr rate and evasive answers.. I will not be going there again...and will not recommend this shop. read more

I found this shop when I moved into the area over 10 years ago. At the time I had a beat up Ford Bronco and my wife to be had a Pontiac Grand Am. They've needed a lot of miscellaneous work. Naz Auto has always been honest and fairly priced. I've never had to have something fixed twice. Our family has since grown by two and we've moved about 30 minutes away. We also bought our first new car in 2008. I get free oil changes from the dealer but I still take my car to Naz because they're the only shop I'd trust to touch my car. We're almost at 80,000 miles now so I'm sure Naz will start seeing us a little more often and I'm more than happy to give them the business. read more

These guys were so awesome in helping me out in a pinch! I was literally down the street when I hit a curb and the curb tore up some plastic on my splash shield. This place was absolutely great. I was traveling with my family from Philly to Wildwood for the week and my car suddenly started smoking from the engine really bad. I had to pull over and check it out. I had a busted hose and coolant was spraying everywhere. Couldn't continue to drive so I had it towed to the nearest Pep boys. I explained the situation to the manager and he said there wasn't anything they could do until the next day. That would've ruined the trip for the kids. I was stressing. The tow truck operator then took us to Naz auto cause he remembered seeing it on our way to Pep boys. The service was great. They immediately checked out the car and said they could fix it same day. Within an hour the car was repaired. As we waited we were offered cold water and air conditioning in the waiting area. When all was said and done the cost was 107 and some change but the kind gentleman said don't worry about it just give me an even 100. He then said for us to have a great vacation. I started coming here after having paid Elkins Chevy $800 to find why the dummy light on my Chevy van kept coming on. Apparently it was an electrical problem and even after $800 Elkins still could not figure it out. Naz looked over the van and concluded it was an old, no longer used Uhaul trailer hitch that was triggering the dummy light. John asked if we'll ever use the hitch. I said no. He clipped the hitch wiring without charge and made a customer for life. They're always straight up. It's been about 15 years now and have no regrets. read more
