A picture of a clear dash on August 29th a week before the engine stopped working Labor Day
    Lauren L.

Let me start off by saying when my car's engine stoped working, the only light on the dash was the tire light. That was it. When I picked the car up from this shop after they put a newer one in, at least four more lights were on including ABS, traction control, a steering wheel one, and a disabled airbag. When I called for an update on the car a week or two prior they told me about the lights coming on however I was under the impression that they were already troubleshooting them and planning on fixing the problems. Apparently I was wrong. They had no intentions of fixing the problems I'm now almost 99% convinced they caused. Like I said those lights weren't on before the car got dropped off. They go in and put an entire engine in and now there's lights. You put two and two together. When I expressed these concerns they were completely unsympathetic and acted like they have no idea what could have happened and basically now it's my responsibility to fix it. On top of the 7k we already spent, for more money they'll go in and fix what they did oh wow what a deal. Because now I can not trust them and feel like they're just trying to milk more money out of my poor father, take advantage of a 21 year old female with minimal car knowledge, and waste even more of our time with bs diagnostics to rack up labor costs, I already went and talked to two other mechanics both of which agree it was probably their fault and the one that's going to inevitably fix their mistakes believes that best case scenario, they didn't plug something back in or worst case scenario they butchered the entire job. I have already requested a full report back to prove that they are at fault and if these findings show that I will be pursuing legal action for their negligence. Imagine if while driving this car home I got into an accident and died because of the airbag error. Because they couldn't go back and check their work. How sad. I do not appreciate getting lied to and I very much do not appreciate them trying to act like there's absolutely no possibility they caused this and would rather blame it on the car "sitting" or the tow company which literally sat there and explained to me how to properly tow the car so there is no damage. This shop is lucky my dad is a nice dude and paid the bill without demanding they fix the problems like the new mechanic suggested. I am pissed. Update: 12/10/21 Forgot to do this sooner but got the report back a couple of weeks ago and it has been confirmed that many of the problems were from their, dare I say, sloppy work and negligence. The mechanic told me many of the ground wires were not properly done and there was also a dangerously low amount of oil in the engine. Now someone please explain to me how you mange to put an entire engine in a car and forget to make sure to put enough oil in it. It's honestly laughable. So all in all I had to spend another $700+ dollars to fix their incompetent mistakes. Consider going to a specialist to avoid the months of aggravation I just had to endure. The only reason I'm not pursuing legal action is because me and my dad just honestly don't feel like it at this point and I'm just glad I now have the satisfaction of knowing I was right. Naz auto, do better

I don't trust many places but Naz Auto Service is the only shop that I trust with all of my car repairs.

Admittedly I was nervous pulling behind a ramshackle house but luckily I didn't judge this place by the cover and neither should you. Took my 2018 Chevy Silverado 1500 here initially looking for just an oil change and tire rotation. Upon my own consideration and talking with the crew- got a 100,000 mile makeover done, transmission pan drop and top off, oil, brakes, rotors, diff fluid, brake fluid, and a handful of odds and ends. Quoted me HALF of what the dealership wanted, made useful (but not pushy) suggestions, and ultimately left me in charge, not trying to upsell me whatsoever. Got it all done in 2 days as I was on a time crunch and couldn't be without a car long for work. I will absolutely be returning.

I have been going to Ward because they are close by and have high ratings, but after 2024 I will not be going back and I do not recommend anyone else give them their business. I took my car in to have 4 new tires put on back around September, which Ward did. However shortly after this I began to notice a rumbling/helicopter-like sound coming from under my car. I brought it back to them, they put it up on the lift and determined I needed a new front right tire rod. We replaced this for $500, immediately after I left the shop I noticed the noise even louder than before. I called them right back and explained that the issue was still there, the guy said he couldn't hear anything when he took it for a test, so I brought it back the next day and he said he could hear it now. They put it back on the lift, and told me it was my rear control arm causing the wobbling. This was after $800 on tires and $500 on the tire rod, Bob said they'd work with me to fix the control arm. When they got back to me with a quote it was almost double what they originally estimated. Bob Ward assured me that the wobbling was not a safety issue, and not an immediate repair. I had concerns because Christmas was around the corner and we would be traveling. They said it would be OK, it was safe to drive, and we could fix it after the holidays. On Christmas Eve as I'm driving my family to my mother's for dinner, my rear passenger tire came off -while we were driving-. It sheared clean off and rolled down the road, thankfully we were not on the highway and I was able to quickly pull over or it would have been a disaster. The tire rolled all the way down the street, thankfully no pedestrians were out at the time and oncoming traffic was able to avoid it. I had my girlfriend and child in the car at the time. I immediately called Ward and left an understandably angry voice mail. We called AAA who towed the car to a family members house who is also a mechanic. Both the AAA tech and my mechanic said they've never seen anything like this, and the only way for it to have happened was for the lugnuts to have been insanely overtorked when my tire was put on. When Ward called me back the day after Christmas to talk about what happened it seemed like the whole thing was an inconvenience for them. Bob didn't take any responsibility, tried to play it off even though they are the only ones to touch this car. When I started mentioning how he put my family and child in danger he rose his voice and said "Will you shut the **** up?!" ....Now I don't know if Bob is just losing it with old age or something, but when your business almost injures a family and the customer calls upset, you don't curse them out. Common sense. My mechanic fixed the whole issue for 150 bucks while Ward was happy continually having me come back in for work that not only did not solve my problem, but caused it. Update: they take no responsibility for any of this despite being my only mechanic for years, but did offer a whopping $150 to cover my mechanic fixing it in "good faith" that I declined.

(I hadn't used any benefits in a good four years - you never know)! I requested service on the AAA app - very easy and user friendly. The tow truck driver was cool and super fast! Free tow with my plan to a shop less than two miles away. However, the estimate was extremely high! The original one was padded to the hilt with recommendations that I declined on (I have a true honest mechanic of seven years, thank you!) The estimate I okayed was for my ONE new tire and an air filter. So high (still) - Im embarrassed to share the price ... ugh! I do have to say though that the texts I received with pictures of my poor car, with pointers to the issues seen, were pretty cool. Ahhh technology! His grouchy demeanor mixed with the fact that he carefully guided an older customer to his car who was unsteady on his feet, left me unable to get a read on him. He is the type of guy where you can't tell if they are serious or joking when they rudely insult you, because sometimes they really aren't serious. Unfortunately for me he wasn't joking, he began informing me that he would never ever be repairing my car again. I thought he was messing with me since he said it out of left field. So I played along until he aggressively came at me saying that I was high on drugs and that's why he doesn't need my business! I've never felt so disrespected , angry, or humiliated by a stranger in my life! I was not high, drunk, or impaired in any way. He was being loud enough at this point so other customers could hear. In my opinion, this individual may have a family member or someone he cares for who may be suffering from a substance abuse disorder or something. I hope that this outburst stemmed from a personal issue that this individual is dealing with. But while running a business, you need to leave home, home so you don't blow up on an innocent customer. I've never experienced this level of disrespect as a customer. Hey buddy why would you ever think I would want to come back to your small gas station shop.
