Dan and his crew are truly the honest mechanics that you can't find anymore. Besides being excellent mechanics with huge skillsets, they will honestly tell you what is going on with your vehicle, how much/how long it will take, and what you could probably get away with on not fixing to save some money. I've saved so much money and aggravation throughout the years entrusting my vehicles (and ultimately, the safety of my family) to Dan. They were recommended by the warranty company and I can see why. If I lived in the area I would use them myself for all my auto repairs. When I called back to ask for clarification, he was rude but eventually gave me an answer. For comparison, my usual mechanic quoted me less than a quarter of what this guy wanted for the same work. When I told him I'd just pick up my car, he suddenly threw a surprise fee at me, something he never disclosed up front and which is actually illegal in NJ. I expected to pay something for the time, but not the outrageous amount he threw at me for doing nothing. I will never return here and strongly urge others not to either. My usual mechanic may be farther away, but he takes the time to explain everything clearly and never overcharges. The extra drive is worth it for honest, professional service.
