Came in for an oil change. Was able to squeeze me in quickly. Only took 20 mins and cost $25. Will recommend

I will say that in the past this Pep Boys was a store as well as service business... Now they do…read moreservice only... In my opinion it was much better than... As it is now you have to go to their competitors to get your vehicles needs... I think that's the reason that they're losing a lot of good customer reviews... Service wise I see now reason to for bad service reviews as I received decent service... I will also say that their parking area was well kept...

WARNING - Overpriced…read more- Makes Many Mistakes - Unprofessional I used to like going here when it was under the previous management. I still found out I over-paid for certain services (due to their built in labor fees), but I was okay with this because the management and staff was so nice. In the last 2 years, it has been a different story. Everything I brought my vehicle in for something, they always seems to find something else wrong to charge me a significantly more amount of money for. I almost never got the work done that I actually went in for (I say oil change - its other fluid levels, I say brake pads- its rotors and new calipers). Most recently , I went in to get the rear brake pads swapped for new ones (there were NO warning lights on in the vehicle when I brought it in). Of course, they called me and said they needed to do a full caliper replacement in the back along with rotors as well. I said how do you know this? They said we don't know this but we want to call and make sure you're able to pay for that if we need to do it. I said sure what's the total price including tax? They quoted 780$ on the phone. I allowed them to do the work, pulled the money out of savings, next day I showed up to pick it up, they rang it up to 850$! I let them know my frustration and they applied coupons to reduce the cost. It wasn't over. On the way home, the brake light illuminated red on the dash board! I brought the vehicle back in 2 days later with the light still on. When I dropped it off, at first, they called and said they didn't see it on. I told them to test drive it and of course, they saw it. They held my car for a week. I called in every few days and they kept telling me they don't see anything and they don't know how this happened after the brake job. After a week, they called and said they don't know what it is but I could take it to the dealership to find the problem and if its something they did, they'd cover the cost. Got there to pick it up and waited 20 minutes for them to find my key because they lost it! I took it to the dealership right away. Within an hour they called and said they weren't sure what caused it but the brake fluid sensor was damaged or working incorrectly. The assistant manager at Pep Boys "Jesse", stated that pep boys was not going to pay for it because this wasn't his fault. I re iterated that I brought it to him before the brake job with no lights on, and they kept my car for a week and did not find this issue. He re iterated that it could have been "random timing" and he cant "just replace the brake fluid sensor for me" but he'd talk to his manager and see if he could work something out. I told him that id be escalating the issue to pep boys corporate and Im never coming here again for any service. I will not be letting them touch my vehicle again and I've found another (more reputable) shop who agreed to do the repair work for me and all future work for a fraction of what pep boys costs. Lesson learned. I wont be going to pep boys locations any more due to the carelessness and unprofessionalism of this store location. Sorry for the long post : I wanted to be as accurate as possible.

Listen. LISTEN. If you are considering hiring this "mobile mechanic," please pause, take a deep…read morebreath, and maybe lie down, because what I'm about to describe is not for the faint of heart. This man rolled up to my driveway in a van that looked like it had already lost a fight with a tornado, a raccoon, and possibly its own sense of self-worth. He hopped out, spilled an entire soda, and said, "Don't worry, that happens." Sir. SIR. Why is that your greeting?? He opened my hood, nodded like he was understanding the secrets of the universe, then poked a totally random part and said, "Yep, that's your problem." When I asked what the problem was, he said and I quote, "Mechanic stuff." Thirty minutes later my car was making a new sound I can only describe as "haunted dishwasher screaming into the void." I asked him if that was normal and he said, "Cars make noises." Then he charged me an amount of money so offensive I think it might be a hate crime against my bank account. He drove away. My car died. In the same moment. Like they were spiritually connected and my car couldn't continue living after witnessing whatever he did to it. If you hire this man, may the automotive gods have mercy on your soul because he WILL NOT. i would give zero stars but, Yelp refuses to let me express the true depth of my suffering.

Basically we were side swiped. I put out a project on yelp asking for a mechanic. Dave messaged me…read moreand said he would come out that night to take a look. Hours go by and he never showed. Finally that morning he came by. Told us the issues and told us what parts to get. We paid him $250 to buy the parts and $200 in labor. Not only did he get junked parts but none of them were good. I asked him to at least refund us for the money we paid in the parts. So he stopped responding. DO NOT USE THIS MECHANIC. He took our car parts and sold them for cash and our car still isn't running. We've had to have another mechanic take a look and begin to work on the car. This was a very unpleasant experience I wish on no one.
