Uncontrollable diarrhea within a couple of hours of eating it. Nauseous and weak for another 24-36 hours. No prior illness or feelings of upset stomach just before I ate there. I had jumbo corn dog, cheese fries and warm cheese cup. Corn dog was good but heavily greasy. I believe they advertise that the hotdog is 100% beef. It tasted different, definitely a more potent dog, not sure if I've ever eaten "100% beef", but I didn't think it tasted like it could potentially make me sick, other than the greasiness, but greasier food doesn't necessarily make me sick. The cheese on the cheese fries was surprisingly bland and the warm cheese cup for dipping the corndog was the same bland. I wanted ketchup and mustard on the side but the large bottles sitting out seemed gooey, sticky and slightly open. I asked for ketchup and mustard packets, and received them. It was a very hot afternoon. I began to feel too full only halfway through eating and eventually tossed away what I couldn't eat. Finishing errands I began to feel ill and the rest of the story has been shared. I love occasionally eating at a food truck and have never gotten sick before from any. Unfortunately this experience has made me decide not to eat at this truck again. And food trucks in general right now are not exciting to me in any way.

My friend Tim and I popped in here to grab a drink and explore some more of Galesburg, IL. The outside of the building is quaint, but once you step inside, it's cozy and bright. I offered to buy the drinks for us and we ordered the same thing. I have ordered the same thing many times at other places (Iced Caramel Latte) and am used to what the average price is. Come to my surprise when my total for two drinks was about $12-$14. Usually I get a small or a medium, but they must've rang me up for the largest size they had, hint the crazy high price. But man, was it delicious and made me want more. Overall, I would come back again. They have a nice staff, it's bright and happy on the inside, they have a cool mural in the middle of the store and the coffee is delicious.

As I get off the train from San Francisco and search up local restaurants, I come across Cornucopia, a hybrid business model that has both a deli and a market with great prices and a bigger selection than most stores I have seen. With curiosity in my head, and a growling stomach, I set off to walk the entire 3 minutes it takes to get to Cornucopia from the train station. I need not say the location of this place is great. The moment I walk in, I am greeted by both the delicious smell of Indian food as well as a nice woman by the name of Susan Lyon. She tells me that this is not only a family run business, but a business run by all women, and Susan (with her husband) are the founders. After our greetings and conversation, I walk to the deli where they had a fine selection of foods from sandwiches to curries. I order the coconut curry (a popular dish, from the words of the man working there) with turmeric rice, and a cup of coffee. I cannot understate the amount of flavor it has, and I highly recommend it to anyone who cannot do spicy food. I also see their selection of bulk spices, frozen meals, supplements, and everyday use items like toothpaste and shampoos. I walked out with a smile on my face, and as the cold Illinois wind hits me I feel longing to go back to the warmth of Cornucopia once again, but my train was to leave soon. I enjoyed every moment of this business, and I will always hope that they expand their business to California. If you ever are visiting Galesburg, Illinois, please make sure to go here. You will be pleasantly surprised by this humble family business.
