This place was amazing! I saw the good reviews and was curious about how authentic it was being in a smaller town. I got the lunch special and ordered shumai and a bowl of pho with steak (p04) My total was around 13$ total which is a STEAL for what I received. Coming from a big city and being new to town I can say longtime locals are lucky to have this place. Definitely worth a try. Also the music playing in the restaurant was very hip and fun. I go here A LOT, and I still give it 5/5. New ownership, and I wish Jessica all the best as she transitions closer to Chicago. New manager, Mia, is excellent and will do well. Menu is nearly the same, and I have been told that the chef and cooks plan to stay on with the new owner. Like always, the spring rolls & peanut sauce, custard tart, sesame balls. Tried the Pho Ga & fried rice (always good to pick off a family member's plate). *Had to access the dim sum menu from their website. I live in a major East Coast city but grew up in Galesburg. I was super excited to see a pho place in town and this one majorly exceeded my expectations. The crispy pork spring rolls were perfectly fried and served alongside a well-balanced chilli sauce. My Pho Ga was unctuous and flavorful. The chicken was juicy and perfectly cooked, but for me pho is all about the broth and this broth was bang on perfect. I got my order to go and the ordering and pick-up process was super smooth. My only complaint was the lack of Thai basil, but that's forgivable. I hope this place succeeds so I can stop in during my next visit home. read more

Too much Fabuloso! My wife and I could barely eat our food because it smelled so strongly. Use an unscented sanitizer to clean your tables. Noses and stomachs go hand in hand. As for the food it was ok. A year ago it was much much better. Our food lacked flavor and it appeared to have a moldy onion in it. Authentic pho in Galesburg! We live in a bigger city on the west coast w many Pho options so my pho bona fides are not to be trifled with. Lol. This place was top notch, especially the broth. It's flavor was stellar and just tasted fresh. Whenever we have a cold or feel a little run down we tend to eat Pho to heal up and this place reminded me how comforting Pho can be. The staff was incredibly friendly and willing to give information about the food so for a first timer you could figure it out. I can't even begin to tell you how happy I am to have a place like this in Galesburg. When we got there, they were on a wait, but it wasn't very long at all. It's very cozy and open, with both booths and tables available for seating. Their Pho is absolutely delicious! My mom got some kind of beef pho, which came with 3 different types of meat. I ordered the chicken pho. Mine was, hands down, the absolute best chicken soup I've ever tasted. The portions are HUGE. I ate half of mine and still had an entire portion to take home with me. The broth is rich and extremely flavorful! I loved how they had giant bottles of fish sauce on the tables! We also ordered some appetizers. The egg rolls were good...a little bit greasy though. The crab Rangoon was delicious and had alot of filling, which my daughter loved! I was REALLY glad to see the chopsticks they had here. They were beautiful and great quality, not like the cheap wooden ones you see everywhere else. We all ordered different drinks, one mango milk, one Thai milk tea, and a brown sugar drink. You can chose what kind of boba you want added. Unfortunately they were out of a few of the options we had wanted. Our server was very friendly.
