Definitely paying for the ambiance here, the sushi was good, but nothing I couldn't get at my usual casual sushi place? The service was great but with the price tag I don't really see myself returning.

Stopped by last Tuesday, early evening. The decor is lovely and the outside seating is beautiful by the water. Unfortunately the bar was out of a specific liquor, so I couldn't order my cocktail from the menu, but a regular gin & tonic was fine. The hamachi crudo was excellent, would definitely recommend. The wagyu beef gyoza were a miss, I wouldn't get those again. Oddly enough the meat tasted a big gamey. The fried rice with chicken was surprisingly really good, I would normally not order a dish like that here but it was probably the best I've had. Would definitely come back when it's cooler to sit outside and try the sushi next time.

My husband and I came for date night on a Friday. We sat outside. Our server was wonderful. Overall we enjoyed our food but it did feel overpriced. We started with drinks. My husband received the wrong drink. We received an apology and got the right drink. We were told that food comes out as it's ready rather than in a certain order. The idea being you eat it fresh rather than having it sit under a lamp to keep warm. The first food to come out were the crispy Brussels sprouts. They were good but not life changing. Second was the short rib fried rice. 10/10. Would return just for that. Third out was my hamachi sushi roll. It was very fresh and light but again not life changing. I felt that the sushi menu could have been more creative. Lad out wad the miso cod. This was excellent. Like butter. Perfect texture and melt in your mouth taste. Overall we enjoyed our evening at Kasumi.

We ordered a lot of dishes and honestly, everything was outstanding. One of my favorites was the tuna on crispy rice - perfectly balanced, melt-in-your-mouth tuna with just the right crunch. We also ordered a daily special roll featuring wagyu and caviar, and it was absolutely worth every penny. Rich, indulgent, and beautifully presented. Beyond the sushi, we tried a variety of small plates and starters, and each one was thoughtfully prepared and packed with flavor. You can really tell there's a lot of attention to detail here, from plating to execution. The service deserves a shout-out as well. Our server was fantastic - friendly, attentive, and always made sure our drinks were full without being intrusive. The restaurant itself is very pretty with a moody, upscale vibe. It's a bit dark for photos, but that just adds to the atmosphere and makes it a great spot for a date night or special dinner. We'll definitely be back. Kasumi delivers on food, service, and ambiance all around.

This was one of my best hotel restaurant experiences. The service I received from Jamica was absolutely 5-star. She was extremely knowledgeable and made the best recommendation. She made my experience extra special and I truly appreciate her going above and beyond. Everything I ate was amazing. I had nigiri hamachi, wagyu gyoza, and miso soup. The wine options were excellent and I enjoyed my Tiki Estate Sauvignon Blanc. Inside the restaurant it is beautiful designed. The ambiance is was romantic and modern. If you come to Boca Raton you have to eat here.

Stopped by for NYE. The ambiance was right on point, service was exemplary and super fast despite them being quite busy. My only thing was that the kitchen-servers were very disconnected so we got entres before appetizers and tea before dessert. But overall the food was beautifully presented and the flavors right on point.

Went here for Happy hour and had some excellent appetizers and beer. The prices were really good and the service was excellent at the bar. really nice ambience and the restaurant is in a hotel and it's right on the intercoastal..

We're always hoping better sushi places will open in the area so we're intrigued to see Kasumi -- and overall definitely came away feeling like this is some of the best sushi we've had in the Boca/Delray area yet. Above all the quality of fish in both nigiri and hand rolls was very high -- definitely the highlight and would come back for that alone. But we really enjoyed the chicken tatsu age -- accurately described by our waitress as surprisingly light and not over breaded at all -- as well as the short rib fried rice, really well prepared and delicious. The atmosphere right on the water is really lovely and there's a ton of seating -- while we did make a reservation for dinner on a Friday night, it didn't seem necessary. Overall, just wish prices were sliiiiightly more down to earth -- understand that good fish is not cheap but like so many places in the area still seems a bit overpriced. That said, the food is good enough that we will likely come back!

The food was good, even though they made a mistake on two of our orders, but then corrected it. The only problem I had when it was time to pay the bill and leave I signed the check put my room number down got up to leave and they told me I could not leave. I said are you kidding me? They said no we have to check you out to make sure you're staying in the hotel they made me sit and wait until one waiter had to go talk to another waiter until I got the thumbs up that I can walk out of the restaurant never in my life. Have I ever had this experience that I was told that I could not leave.

What a fantastic time. First time here. Service was incredible from hostess to waitstaff to Jill the manager. Friendly, attentive and on point. Food was amazing! We had spicy tuna, tuna sashimi, filet, veggie fried rice. Would love to go back and try some of the other roles! Views of the water great!

This place is delicious! Variety of options to choose from on the menu. I went with the Masu which is Chef's Selection of pieces and it did not disappoint. On top of that, my server Sebastian was attentive and very knowledgeable on the menu. I will definitely be back!

The design of Kasumi was absolutely beautiful, definitely an aesthetic where everyone would want to take photos in. My friend and I had the edamame and Wagyu beef gyoza to start, the gyoza was amazing!! I got the tres amigos which is apparently a huge hit, I would say get it if you love the taste of fresh seafood. If you want something flavorful, get something else. The spicy tuna aburi was very flavorful but spicy ofc due to the name. Our waitress Jennifer was very friendly, she was so kind and patient with us and kept it professional!! Would definitely love to have her again when I get back! :)

We both enjoyed everything we ate, and each other's company. There is plenty of parking that's well lit, the restrooms were clean, and the restaurant appeared clean as well. By the end of dinner, we both were full and could not eat one more bite. We definitely want to come back for another lovely evening. Thank you kindly to the team members for a memorable evening.

The restaurant is in a very, very busy area and the first thing we noticed walking in is how loud it was inside we asked to be seated in the rear where it was a little bit more quiet. After being seated, our server came quickly with a request for beverages and some menus. We didn't wait long at all. The service was good and friendly. We decided to try some things that we had not had before to see just what it would be like here at this particular restaurant and the results were a bit mixed but overall good. I had the Mongolian beef and I was happy with the dish. It was plentiful. The quality of the meat seemed good and the flavors were OK not amazing. My sweetheart had a fried rice and shrimp dish and while the tastes were OK, we were surprised at how few shrimp were in the dish. The food came hot and it came quickly and the presentation was very nice as you could see from the photos when we go back? the answer is probably. My suggestion is try this restaurant midweek when it's not so loud and see if you like it. It's open to the street and they have ample outdoor dining, which is nice but it was too muggy for us to sit outside that particular day. We didn't try their cocktails, but the people around us were enjoying them and they looked excellent. I hope you give it a try and comment or let me know what you think!

The sushi was fresh, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the night. The restaurant itself was also really beautiful and had a nice upscale vibe. Unfortunately, the cleanliness and service at the beginning didn't match the atmosphere. When we first sat down, one of our glasses had a lot of scratches and the other one was visibly dirty. When I asked for them to be changed, the waitress initially insisted it was just scratches, even though one was clearly dirty. She eventually replaced them, but the new glass was also heavily scratched, and what bothered me most was that she took the dirty glass and placed it on another table instead of taking it to be cleaned. The attitude at first felt a little dismissive and rude, although she did become much more polite and helpful as the night went on. Another downside was the bathroom cleanliness. It smelled like a public restroom, which really didn't fit the fancy atmosphere the restaurant was trying to create. Overall, the food was genuinely excellent, but for a place that looks this nice, the cleanliness and attention to detail should be much better.

Maybe it's quieter outside but those tables are right next to the street. We had to yell to hear each other. Our server Sebastian was so pushy and constantly upselling us. As soon as we sat down, he asked whether we wanted still or sparkling water, but that question should always have 3 options: still, sparkling, or tap? He then recommended the signature omakase, the most expensive thing on the menu. When he came back to take our order, he made a big pitch of today's rib special. When my husband ordered the 8-piece nigiri, he pushed us to upgrade to the 12-piece option. As we were eating, he asked us what else we wanted to order. We ordered $130 of food for 2 people...seriously? We hadn't even finished yet to gauge if we were still hungry. I know that tips are a percentage of the bill, but you would've thought this kid was getting a commission on top of his tip or something. It rubbed us the wrong way. The tuna crispy rice was $5 per piece and the rice was weirdly chewy. Wouldn't order it again. The nigiri were the highlight of the meal. Each piece felt balanced and the sushi rice was good. We ordered 3 rolls: toro toro, scallop, and yellowtail. All were forgettable and expensive for what they were. The yellowtail roll was bland, which is probably why there's a chili ponzu sauce to go with it because otherwise all you can taste is pear, which isn't a flavor I'm looking for in sushi. We ended our meal with scallop tacos, which were good but microscopic and pricey ($17 for 2 tacos). Each one is a bite and a half. It took a while to flag down Sebastian for the bill, so we were stuck in the din of the restaurant for longer than we liked. If the restaurant's filling up, wouldn't you want to turn our table and seat new guests? My husband made a note on the res that it was my birthday, but it was ignored. Maybe we would've had a better experience with a different waiter, but this was a disappointing meal and service.
