She also went the extra mile by helping us include our family dog, Jack, in some of the photos. Questions and gives lots of helpful information about make-up and glasses and everything else so you get a great photo. Most importantly, my daughter was at ease with her immediately so our photos are natural looking and beautiful. Complete and utter scam --…read more Enticed my wife into participating through a "$1,500 promotional discount for healthcare workers". Upon inquiring, my wife was told that she needed to "either place a ($200) retainer or they move on to other clients and that the offer would be no longer available". Feeling pressured to comply, my wife paid the retainer and awaited further discussion and arrangement of her photoshoot. Then, she received a contract to which she was not entirely clear on and signed without possessing proper understanding of cancellation and total costs-for-service. This locked her into a $2,600 dollar BASE package, AND this was AFTER the promotional discount. Which, my wife was not able to obtain clear price quote after multiple attempts to clarify prior. After bringing this to my attention, we were hit with a "cancellation clause" of $600 dollars. When attempting to clarify my wife's confusion and decline her services, the owner held her ground to "remain consistent" with her policies. This was after I explained we simply could not afford her prices and I offered her to keep the retainer as good gesture. Mind you, this was immediately after contract signing and no where near the photoshoot date. So what was the end result? Lets show body positivity and support to healthcare workers, pressure them into signing a contract or losing out on the deal and then rip the rug out from underneath them leaving them with an 800 dollar bill and a "best of luck" because they can't afford her prices (which should have been absolutely clear before the retainer). Absolutely predatory and disingenuous practices from this photographer and should be ashamed of her business model. Why even do photo shoots when you can scam someone out of 800 dollars after three conversations. DO NOT recommend and would encourage people to look elsewhere for boudoir photography that actually respects their clients and shows quality customer service. Wish I could score 0 stars.

With LinkedIn and social media being such a big deal now a days, you better look profesh, and you better look good while you're doing it. She made everything stress free for me and guided me through the process. I'm not used to professional pictures, but she made me feel comfortable and confident during the shoot. She cleared her schedule and was able to beautifully capture my increasingly huge and more active, less sleepy infant. The preparation that went into the shoot was top notch from the heat being turned up in the studio so my baby wasn't cold to the wide variety of outfits, props, sound machine, and she even had a camping/outdoorsy background that fit our nursery theme! We BOTH felt we were in the best of care; my baby is normally fussy in the hands of strangers but Kara had a way of calming him to get all the cutest poses effortlessly, and I as a new mom was able to finally relax for a few hours. She is also a mom to two littles and was incredibly easy to talk and relate to. Not only did my son enjoy the experience, but he had photos taken with his car--in the snow--that look as though they were taking in the summer with a setting sun. While I questioned the cost of the prints, I found out that these are not your average picture. The larger prints are on a thick, almost cardboard paper that can be used without glass over them. I used him for my engagement party, photo booth, and paid for an engagement "couple" photo shoot. Where we were supposed to pick a place where we wanted them done. There were no pictures of me and fiancé while we made our grand entrance. (Only one from a far which wasn't focused) and the rest where just awful angles. To top It he ONLY edited a FEW pictures!! They just did not look professional and I was very disappointed. Even other people that seen them where very shocked. So I had to waste more of my time and money to have another photographer edit them. Which helped a little. When my fiancé tried calling him after he sent us the pictures, he would not return his calls, and still has not done our couple photoshops that we had already paid for!
